Booking.com Non payment

I am a partner (host) from Booking.com, id property no 8887960 Apartament M3 Gorjului in Bucharest, Romania from august 2022.
I've got regular monthly payments untill January this year when they stopped paying me.
Meanwhile I've continued to host tourists, hoping to be paid as normal.
My complaint: I havent been paid for December 2022 - payment due 01.01.2023 and January 2023- payment due 01.02.2023.

Currently I snoozed my property to not work for nothing.
My several calls and messages to payment control department got no answers except automatic replies saying they investigate and revert.

Booking.com Lack of refund - error in booking

The mobile app of booking.com is misleading. I went to book a room for my mother in Venice (Hotel Foresteria Levi), realised that the policy was non-refundable for the selected room so went back and selected the refundable option (as my father is having an operation and need flexibility). Booking.com booked two rooms instead of one - one refundable and one not. My credit card was charged. I contacted the hotel and they said it was my problem (bad customer service!), I then phoned Booking.com who explained that they would not charge the hotel a commission and that they could refund it - they sent the hotel an email advising as such. The hotel the refused, and I still have two room bookings and have paid for the room when I wanted the flexible cancellation option and to pay at the hotel.

Desired outcome: Cancellation of the non-refundable room in Venice with full refund.

The Grand Hotel Scarborough came to stay away for a night with my boyfriend, when I went to check in they asked for ID even tho the booking was authorized with my card, I had the booking reference and proof on my phone. When I booked through booking.com it never said anything about having to be 18 to check in as minimum check in said 16, I am 17 my boyfriend is 18. The people were really rude & said to me "well you best ring your mum to come pick you up haven’t you" in a rude way when I said how am I meant to get home now. I have not spoken to my mum since I was 14. They then said I would not be charged, but then charged me the full amount.

Desired outcome: I would like an apology and as a good will gesture I think it would be good to have an opportunity to have a weekend stay with all the trimmings to experience what I missed out on.

Booking.com I Hotel reservaton

Today I see Hotelsone.com on my discover bill. I cancelled my reservation [protected]) with the I Hotel in Champaign, Illinois on 2/10/2023 for 2/22 to 2/24/2023. I have been dealing with Mybooking.com and Booking.com to try to get my prepaid $474.84 refunded to my Discover account. They want a pin code which I cannot find anywhere and cannot reach any one to retrieve or get. And they claim my reservation number is invalid. Help!

Desired outcome: Refund of $474.84 to my Discover account.

Booking.com Reward we were given by booking.com. Changed the rules at their convenience,

No where did it say that the expiry was dependent on the property local time .

Your own staff don’t know the rules. Deepak told me that the promo code ran out on 3 February as it says expires on 4 February. Now you are telling me something different.

I am now formally complaining to you for wasting customer time and Booking .com need to take responsibility for rushing the promo through with poor instructions on when the promo expired.

The correct thing is for you to apply the code or compensate to an equal amount wasting my time and causing unnecessary stress.

Booking.com Discount not applied

We reserved a hotel on booking.com and after totaling the amounts up found the had charged full price and there would be a cancelation fee of one night if we canceled. We called right away an talked with a customer service person for over an hour and sent links and screenshots as requested. She agreed we should get a refund. He supervisor overrode her and denied the refund. I called the next day and spoke with another customer representative and after more than half an hour was transferred to a supervisor who did nothing for me and said the proof I provided the day before which was accepted wasn't good enough and they can't look it up in there system. Proof is the burden of the customer.

Desired outcome: I wanted my refund.

Booking.com Account disabled.

When trying to sign onto my Genius account I get a message telling me my account has been disabled for security reasons and I need to contact customer service.

Contacting customer service is very difficult as there are no phone numbers on your site. It also advises me to sign in to contact you, but I am unable to do so as I get the account disabled message.

Booking.com Refund issues

I booked for a holiday using Booking.com for the holiday that was supposed to be at The blyde (Pretoria) from the 2nd -4th December 2022. When I arrived there I called the apartment owner for unit number she responded and said she is out of the country and she has blocked all her bookings up until January 2023 therefore I need to cancel since she can’t accommodate me. I did exactly that and made Booking.com aware of the situation. All the customer service I called they said they tried to get hold of the apartment owner for confirmation and from there they will process my refund. I reached the apartment owner and she said she confirmed long time ago but to this day I didn’t get my refund and Booking.com customer helper never got back to me. I am disappointed and I have been a loyal customer to Booking.com

Booking.com Refund not received

We had booking for 24th dec and 25th dec at kudro destinn mangalore with full payment made in advance. When we reached the property, booking was cancelled without any notice and we ended up running around the hotels with my kid. We have been following up with booking.com and even the property but full refund has not been received.
24th dec : confirmation no : [protected] pin : 6594 - rs 4215.68
25th dec : confirmation no : [protected] pin : 0850 - rs 4215.68
However, only 1 refund of rs 4215.68 is received on 11th jan 23 and not received for the another one.

Booking.com No payment as host

Dear Sir/Madame,

Booking.com wrong venue

We booked as per the confirmation number.

We intended visiting Magaliespark on the 14th Oct, but then got confused because that park is at the large area called Haarties.

So, when continuing with the booking, we accepted the venue Haarties, believing it to be Magaliespark.

Because it was the wrong venue, we did not stay there, and then booked another venue with you at Dullstroom.

Partly my fault, but as a pensioner, please give us some credit towards our next booking.

Booking.com 2 paid reservations I didnt do

On feb 4th 2023 I was looking for Hotels in Burges and Prague. I booked one called Hotel Stary Pivavar but somehow the dates were changed and asked for a refund 261.60 euros. Booking will do the refund. Booking Number [protected]

I booked 2 hotels

a) CanalView Hotel ter Reien but with the right to cancell before May 17th 2023 11.59 p.m.for the amount of 286.40 euros. Confirmation Code: [protected] Pin Code: Confidential

Booking.com Flight cancellations

Hi

I have been trying to change my booking.com flexible ticket for days. Very frustrating talking to customer service in India regarding my issue. Yesterday I tried to change my flight from Feb 15 to September 17 due to a medical issue. I was told the fee for the change was $80 despite the ticket price was just $7.00 per ticket more than the original booking price. After trying relentlessly to get an explanation as to why , I finally decided to pay the $80 but for some reason my credit card payment was declined. The agent told me to try today and he would put a message regarding the $80 fee. But today they are telling me the fee is $140 despite the ticket price is the same as yesterday..can someone please email me or provide a North American contact number asap

Booking.com Refund for flexi ticket that was not flexible as not booked with airline

flights for Venice as a surprise for me bought flexi ticket as needed to arrange annual leave. flights booked 09.02.23 to 13.02.23

Paid £152.99 flights

£35.50 baggage

£21.41 for flexi ticket

total £209.91

Called to change the flight first I called Ryanair as I was not aware it was done via booking.com only to see there was no flexi ticket booked and cost of flight on app showed only £152.99

Found the email from booking.com and called to change flight with a variation of dates all same duration, destination and airports in line with there terms and conditions.

Friday 27th Jan - I was told they couldn't change to any of the dates and as Ryanair would not allow it, because they did not book at flexi ticket as paid for. Offered me a refund but only for my flight of £152.99 not the rest.

I said because they have not done their job I should get a full refund. awaitied a call from manager still nothing.

Called again Monday 30th of jan - no sorry you cant have a refund no there is no manager here to talk to call back. Insisted on refund to be told no, call the airline make the changes an pay the £180 quoted by ryanair and we will refund the differance but could offer me no assurance this was going to happen. I paid for a flexi ticket and no where on their terms and conditions does it day thay. Just that you have to pay the difference in cost for flight!

Called again Tuesday 31st Jan as we decided this was a scam and wanted out money back agreed to credit me £152.99 but not the rest as they could not change my flight on the so call flexi ticket. accepted credit and awatiting confirmation.

I now have got all the terms and conditions and I want a refund for my total amount as this was their error not ours

Booking.com Worst customer service!

Worst Customer Service ever!

March 2022 I booked a flight for a work trip that ended up needing to be canceled due to a family medical emergency. I had flight insurance, so I tried to file a claim to get a refund but heard nothing for months. I finally went to the airline's website and processed a claim and within 24 hours was notified I received a refund and as of January 6th 2023 Booking.com had the refund. I didn't see the money back in my bank account by the 19th and called to find out where it was. Booking.com hadn't even attempted to give me my money back. The rep said he was escalating things to the customer service department and I should have my money in 2-3 business days. By January 25th the money still wasn't in my bank account. I called back and was told nothing had been escalated and they were doing it now and I'd receive my money today. Still don't have my money today, January 31st, and I called back to be told they were still working on it. When I asked to speak with a supervisor because now, I've heard the same exact thing from 3 people and still don't have the money I was hung up on. I called back and was promptly hung up on again the moment I asked to speak with a supervisor. I was told they have no supervisors which isn't true and hung up on twice just trying to get my money back! Don't book with this company, go through the airline or hotel websites directly.

Booking.com Flight

We booked return flight through Booking.com, the outgoing flight was cancelled due to Flybe going into administration. After calling several times to request a refund I was issued with an email stating I had to get in touch with the airline directly. I have been unable to contact the airline. I asked for booking.com to state that they were unable to assist me further with the refund in writing . I was given an email address to make this request that returned as not working. The phone call was placed at 4.40 on 30 January 2023.

Desired outcome: An email confirming that booking.com is unable to assist me in the refund of the flight booked.

Booking.com Double charge

I booked two rooms for 1 night through cheapoair.com which links to booking.com on Aug 20, 2022. I received two reservation numbers: [protected] and [protected]. I called and pointed the error but the person answered was that the hotel won't charge till you show up and you can tell the hotel you only need rooms for one night. However, my credit card statement showed the hotel charged me twice right away. I called and sent numerous emails to explain that was the website error but the customer service keep saying he or she will contact with the hotel and let me know if the hotel can give me refund. The hotel said they received orders from booking.com so only booking.com can solve the problem. However, the customer service in booking.com keep insist that once I received reservation, I cannot cancel and get refund. I want to know before I receive the reservation, how can I know booking.com double charge me? Once I receive the reservation, it is not refundable even I canceled. Dear booking.com, are you playing games to over charge your customers? Do you have any logical thinking? Shame on you, booking.com!

Booking.com Waiting for refund for a flight reservation I cancelled

Nov. 2022 I booked a flight through booking.com. Dec 3, 2022 I cancelled the reservation and was assured I would get my refund in 1-2 weeks It's been over 7 weeks.

I have called booking and singapore airlines several times. Last friday, I had both on the phone together. Singapore Air told booking rep Anu that they have issued my refund so booking should refund my money.

Please refund my money or I will be forced to take further action; do a charge back, file a section 75 and file a complaint with the US Dept of transportation.

Booking.com Refund for 3 bookings

On the 7th of October 2022, just after 5pm, i made a booking via your platform to Hotel Sky Sandton for 2 people checking on the same night (7-9 October) and allowed payment to go through there and then. 

My card was debited and received the message from my bank for the reserved purchase. My card was debited with ZAR1990.17. The money was meant to have been paid to Sky Hotel when i made the booking, but the hotel said on their side it did not show that the money was paid thus they charged me for the 2 nights, and we paid each night separately. 

On November 15, i made another booking to La Casa De Lior- Modern & Fully furnished Apartment and again the same thing happened. The transaction of this booking of Zar 787.64 was debited twice, totaling to Zar 1,575.28. Again, this booking was not confirmed and received an email of refund, to this day I am still waiting for that refund.

I have made a few follow ups but bookings.com was reaching out to the hotel and they collaborated my story. Booking.com has asked me to provide bank statement of the transactions and my booking card details and i have sent all evidence of these transactions, to this day i have not received my refund.

We are in now the year 2023 and i have not received my refund from booking.com which totals to ZAR3, 565.45.

Desired outcome: For my refund to be paid back.

Booking.com Incorrect flights then misinfo on flight times.

I got a flight to a city, everything seemed fine til I noticed it was incorrect in my email. I thought It must of been my mistake, that I selected an airport with a similar name to the city I was supposed to go to. After PAYING to get it changed through their 'customer service' I was just sent the SAME EXACT TIME AND PLACE as before TWICE! I do NOT believe it was my mistake on selecting the airport now, due to them seemingly sending me to the same one I DIDNT want to go to. I had to send an email a third time and I finally I thought things were fixed, but then I saw they changed the return flight time to 7am instead of 7pm, called to say hey I didn't set this time and the employee told me I did confirm this time and I had to pay to change it. HOW could I have confirmed a flight time through sending an email complaint just asking to get my airports fixed? I Did not get ANY followup email. Only the ticket changing my airports. This is such a scam.

Desired outcome: Fix my flight time. I don't even care about a refund, I just need my flight time fixed for YOUR Mistake.
