Bonanza advertises seller fees of 3. 5% for all transactions under $500. My one and only transaction they charged me 8. 63%. Sale price was 17. 72. Fees owed is 1. 53. I emaile them and i am waiting for a response.
I am the original poster of this complaint. I would like to retract my complaint. The reason I was charged 8.63% instead of 3.5% is because my item was sold through google stores which requires a higher fee. I was aware of this when I set up my account but simply forgot about this detail which is why I thought I was being overcharged which I am not.
Bonanza repplied to my email within 24 hours and clarified this issue for me.
This complaint was made in haste and was the result of a misunderstanding on my part. I forgot that Bonanza has to charge extra fees for items sold through Google stores where my item was purchased from.
