Banfield Pet Hospital review: Vet availability / optimum wellness plan

The Salisbury, MD location for Banfield decided to close its location for unknown reasons from June 1st through June 5th, 2023. Their website shows as open and their phone lines do not note that they’re closed today. I have a puppy under their puppy optimal wellness plan that is having medical issues and I am forced to go 7 hours to see a vet at the local Pet ER. Therefore incurring additional cost to utilize an emergency vet. Per the contract I am to have access to a vet during their normal business hours and it does not state that they are subject to close without notice. However if I attempt to get out of my contract I am forced to pay outrageous prices to do so for a service that I am not able to utilize.

Desired outcome: Payment of ER bill or to be let out of my contract so that I can find another local vet that doesnâ€™t pull this sort of thing.
