My name is Shereama little. I took my dig Kareem into Banfield of Franklin TN on 6/26/25 for ulcer treatment in both eyes. He was prescribed 2 eye drops. The eye drops were working But due to him not letting us easily apply them I ran out early. I called for a refill and was advised that they'd need to consult with a doc before they could prescribe. By the time I received the next fill his eyes had gotten worse again. I took him. Back on August 1st because it looked like he could not see at all and I had ran out of drops again. At this point, we noticed a small swollen lip and itching. The doc prescribed the more eye drops, Cefpodoxime, and advised me to give him benadryl for allergies. Within the week his lip was overly swollen and he had stopped eating and I was having a hard time giving him his pills. So I took him to Banfield of Murfreesboro on 8/6/25. The doctor gave him 2 shots (pain and antibiotic) and a prescription Caprofen. When he made it back home he would not leave his crate again and his conditions worsened daily. He would eat nothing, not go out, and staggered when he tried to walk. Within 72 hours I found him cold and stiff in his crate. I was contacted by the first hospital and advised they are covering the service provided there. But, I am being told by the health care team that I have a balance at the second hospital for over $200, Murfreesboro, and cannot close the heath plan that I previously enrolled in on the day they gave him a shot that ultimately killed him because they ran tests that were billed. I am very disappointed in their service and the lack of care I received from them I need a full refund and my dog back.

Desired outcome: a full refund of all services rendered, another Shihtzu through Banfield's adoption program with a provided wellness and training program at no cost to me for the first year.
