This year was the second cleaning I got for my 5 1/2 year-old rescue. I am a dental professional of 38 years. I brush her teeth and I give her Dental chews. her last cleaning showed mild plaque. My dog suffers from severe anxiety from abuse. She never had any fat odor on her breath. This year has been a nightmare. I brought her at 7 AM. They didn’t take her in until 10:15 AM the doctor called me at 11:30 and Said said she did great with anesthesia. I assumed her cleaning was done quite a while ago and I said OK I’ll come pick her up cause I know she has the separation anxiety. The doctor told me one of her incisors came out during the cleaning? I check her teeth if there was any mobility, it was extremely mild and it shouldn’t have been knocked out by an ultrasonic cleaner. Perhaps intubation if she was manhandled? Prior to her going back, they tried to push a bunch of different sales on me which I declined. I take care of her anal glands, her ears, her grooming and her nails because of her extreme anxiety. She does well with me. When I went to pick up my dog, she was extremely drugged. She could barely stand her back. Legs were collapsing under her. Both of her front legs were shaved last year. Only one light was shaved for intubation. Also, the vet, Dr. Foley said I could see the tooth when I got there mysteriously the tooth had disappeared. The practice manager Amanda kept changing her story first she said she was there during the whole procedure And then again she told me she doesn’t do anything medically? My dog suffered a wheeze for three days didn’t eat and now has more anxiety than ever. They want me to pay for the remainder of the year, which I don’t want to pay them a dime. My dog is afraid to go outside now her trust in me that I built up over the year and a half has diminished because of the bad treatment she received. Nobody could explain why both her legs were shaved why I wasn’t told last year that she had any mobile teeth and her last year report said mild plaque? It took almost 2 weeks for their head, doctor doctor Firth to call me back when I called that day to confirm that she would be calling the receptionist Seem to know everything that it went on, and they were prepared to defend their staff. She had an attitude and said oh don’t worry she’s calling you! I dismiss that. The doctor had an excuse for everything! When I said, my dog has extreme anxiety, and it was noted in there. Why did they make her stay there for three hours prior to having her Cleaning when last year she had her Cleaning an hour after she arrived and I picked her up three hours later? The doctor said they all have anxiety which I imagine so but some dogs are more prune to anxiety and my rescue is one of them. I was aware of this when I rescued her. I also noticed that they put down. She had an appointment September 2. She was never seen by anyone in September 2 they were supposed to give me her heartworm medicine at the time she had her cleaning and they forgot to give it to me and I was so upset at the condition of my dog. I called them up and went back and picked it up on the second. They have a charge for the second of $188. Something happened to my animal that was so bad that she has been isolating in the bathroom most of the time. I don’t want to pay these people another dime they clearly are not responsible nor they caring. This facility should be closed. I’m following up with a report with animal welfare because they are not giving me resolution. Their Customer Service has been rude, and I have been transferred from one area to another All saying that they don’t have the authority to cancel and relieve me of any more payments. My dog’s tooth is gone that can’t be put back. There’s no price for that and the damage they caused her emotionally. I don’t know if that’s ever gonna be resolved at this point. I’m extremely depressed.
Desired outcome: I want to be relieved from this plan without further payments from me.
