B Safe I used the security system from B Safe in my previous house for 5 years and I recently sold the house

I used the security system from B Safe in my previous house for 5 years and I recently sold the house. My contract was signed on 2014 which is $36 per month. Then I told the new owner of my house about all the info and price. But they give the new owner $50 per month when he called the company about the transfer. This is ridiculous price gouging, especially under the current COVID-19 situation. In addition, I was going to cancel the service and call the company before I sold the house. The customer service asked me to wait until the closing date and see if the new owner would love to use their service. If not then I can cancel the service. So I switch to use Nest Home Security System in my new place. However, as the new owner doesn't want to use their service and I hope to cancel it, then I was told my contract was auto-renewed without notification! They lock you in with another 5-year contract against your willingness. Why didn't you told me it will be auto-renewed when the first time I called with the intention of cancellation? Then they said it is on the fine print of the contract that it will be auto-renewed WITHOUT notification. But the truth is the fine print is so tiny to get attention and no one mentioned it when we signed up the agreement. By the way, I did the search online and a lot of customers complaint that the penalty of cancellation will be $1500, what a ROBBERY.

I have been a customer since 2015 and had no issues. Now that I am moving, they are trying to charge me for early termination of my contract. I signed a contract for 3 years not realizing that the contract would AUTOMATICALLY renew for 3 more years WITHOUT notice. I question whether the automatic renewal is legal since it was NOT printed "clearly and conspicuously in the contract." It is only printed in microscopic fine print which is actually even obscured by a hand written change that the sales person made.

I have a 19 years old security alarm system which is in various stages of break down. Additionally, Verizon is also ending support for the way the system transmits to central monitoring station. As such, my system is unreliable and will be completely dead any day. I had a 2 yr contract with a company called 'Securitech' and the said fine print also seems to indicate an auto renewal for another year. The 2 yrs ended in August and supposedly a new year began. I have been having issues with the system as said earlier and have been in touch with the team for a year around fails and also with the system not triggering the alarm when something went wrong. As such, as I had already paid till 11/11, I requested the monitoring company to please terminate my monitoring and to call it even. The company has presented me the option to pay a fine as they deem this to be a default. Alternatively, pay up to $4,000 to upgrade my system (in increments over the next 5 yrs OR right now). How can it be a default if my system is dead? It would be unethical of the Firm to expect me to pay anything right now or to force me to pay $4,000 to upgrade a decrepit system.
