September 17, 2025 at Powell River, BC V8A 3B6 about 4:30 pm I ordered an English Muffin Bacon & Egger to go. After coming home, I found a seriously over-toasted muffin placed inside. The whole circle rims of both halves were totally burned black, one of the half’s edges was even fragmentary and the inner surface of those halves were filled with many little charred dots. Pictures are attached.
Returning to the same store to report to the manager on the second day around 9:25 am, she replied contemptuously “ this is the way we do our English muffins”, and smilingly added “ if you don’t like the way we do, then you should never order our English muffins”.
What kind of restaurants' SOP will serve black burned food to customers? Should there be at least some decency for customer service towards another human being?
