ZERO stars!

Its a terrible site to use. Nothing but a breeding ground for bullies, liars and undesirables. And thats just the moderators.

This site has a long history of fake accounts made to suck vulnerable people in to believing they are talking to genuine users and it still continues.

The moderators (navigators) are selected by a chief which are usually all friends creating a negative clique where they happily and openly pick on users making fun of them in front of people baiting them to kick off. When they do they get banned.

These same people are made up of liars and stirrers that get away with bad behaviour. Some have conned people into giving them money with the promise to be repaid but it never is. Some even boast about having a criminal record! Reporting to the owners is pointless. They either ignore your complaint or brush anything said off with empty auto generated replies. The owner has even said she keeps a close eye on things and is fully aware of what goes on with her staff. In effect, by allowing the bad behaviour she supports this kind of thing.

Users are not safe or protected.

Chat.lycos is a pretty cool place to hang out and chat with people from all over the world. The interface is easy to use and the chat rooms are always buzzing with activity. However, there are a few things that could be improved.

Firstly, the moderators can be a bit biased at times. If you don't agree with their views, you might find yourself kicked out of the chat room. It seems like they have their favorites and no matter what you say, they will always stand by them. This can be frustrating if you're trying to have a civil conversation with someone.

Another issue is that the chat rooms can be a bit overwhelming. There are so many people talking at once that it can be hard to keep up with the conversation. It would be nice if there was a way to filter out some of the noise and focus on the people you're interested in talking to.

Despite these issues, Chat.lycos is still a great place to meet new people and have fun. If you're looking for a lively chat room with lots of activity, this is definitely the place to be. Just be prepared to deal with a few biased moderators and a lot of chatter!

Chat.lycos is a pretty cool chat site, but there are some issues that need to be addressed. For one thing, some of the NAVs (that's short for "navigators," or the people who moderate the chat rooms) can be really rude and unhelpful. If you have a problem or complaint, good luck getting any support from them. And if you happen to be a woman, watch out - some of the NAVs seem to have a real problem with females and will treat you badly for no reason.

Another problem with Chat.lycos is that there doesn't seem to be any way to report bad behavior from the NAVs themselves. If you have an issue with one of them, you're pretty much out of luck. And some of them seem to have a real grudge against Americans - if you're from the USA, be prepared for some unfair treatment.

Despite these issues, Chat.lycos can still be a fun place to hang out and chat with people from all over the world. Just be aware that there are some problems that need to be addressed, and don't expect too much help from the NAVs if you run into trouble.
