My flight arrived at Lisbon Airport on 31 July 2026. As instructed, we went to the designated shuttle pick-up point for OK Mobility. However, no shuttle arrived to collect us.
When we contacted OK Mobility, we were informed that they had not received our flight number from Auto Europe and therefore had no record that we had arrived or when we were arriving . We have a photograph of their booking system showing that no flight number was recorded.
Our Auto Europe voucher clearly shows that our flight number (TP1325) was provided when the booking was made and can be seen on the voucher we recieved from AutoEurope.
Because the shuttle never arrived, the rental office was then closed. We attended the office first thing the following morning, but our reservation had already been marked as a "no-show" . The recorded ‘no show’ was an automated Auto Europe system process. Hence Auro Europe cancelled our booking as a result of us not showing up as a result of them not providing OK Mobility with our flight number. We left without a car rental and had to get a very costly last minute rental that night.
Auto Europe when called said they could do nothing to help and admitted it was their fault but still could not help us. They did not care. They told us to file a claim, which we did and we have not heard anything since. Absolutely scandalous! I
Claimed loss: 500 euro in additional car rental charges. No end of stress after being left stranded and 2 trips to Lisbon airport to replace rental cars.
Desired outcome: I would like a refund. and and apology
