Booked a car online 30/12/25 for collection in Geneva airport on 07/02/2026. Waited patiently for the confirmation voucher that never arrived. Phoned Auto Europe to query, whilst they found the booking they said it was now invalid / cancelled due to failure to process the card payment. Having not received an email nor phone call to notify me of any issues, had I have not checked in with the company prior to travelling I would have just presumed everything was ok. Their customer service was really appalling, no apology, no recompense, no resolution. Apparently to rebook the price was well over double that of when I first booked plus they now had no cars of the same class available. No offer of an reduction in price nor upgrade for the inconvenience they had caused me. "Computer says No." Forced to find an alternate car elsewhere costing me £250 extra, not a great start to my holiday!
