My phone came to me broken, I called immediately and said the screen was cracked as well as it slow charged. I was told I qualified for a free upgrade, I replied was told 10-20 buisness days I would receive the new device. Two months now phone will not even turn on when I do it turns it self off and restarts. I called. My husband is on workman's comp. The lawyers, the doctors, the claims agent has this number. I called and asked about the phone that never arrived. Well now it's out of stock and it will cost me 35$ to upgrade and I can wait another who knows, or pay 70$ for a out of date phone, they no longer make, and wait three weeks. I explained I don't have the time to wait and I'm not paying 70$ for a phone that can't even work my childs school apps. I'm basically laughed at and told o well. I asked about the bring your device plan they offer, and told that's not a thing it's either their phones or nothing. I said I went on your webpage literally says I can so what phone or network can I purchase today and have a phone. Again laughed at by the 4th supervisor. I did hang up. Its a government phone for Americans why an I speaking to people who can't speak English? Why are Americans not the ones who are obtaining the jobs of customer service. At least give me one who knows the word what means. This is sad.

Desired outcome: Want a phone that works

I've been trying to help my friend with getting a replacement from Assurance wireless. Three hours later and still not resolved. To get the replacement, they required him to pay $20. He is too poor to have a credit card, so I attempted to use mine. Nope, Assurance shows an error. So, I tried another one of my credit cards. Nope, error from Assurance. We were then told we have to get an Assurance Top up card. Drove all around and nobody at the places that Assurance said to get one knew what we were talking about! I found it online at Walmart, so I used my credit card successfully and paid $20.38 for the top up card. Called Assurance again and NOPE, error again! How the heck is he supposed to a replacement and how do I get my $20.38 back?! This is FRAUD! Here's a picture of how bad the defective Shock phone is!
