Aspen Dental Teeth fillings

I had cavities and needed to get them fixed before I could start my orthodontic treatment (Braces). Well I got my top teeth filled and they were fine so I got scheduled to get my remaining 4. ( FOUR. ) filled. Well the next day comes and they tell me I have 5. (FIVE). That need to be filled but wait. They hurt told me I only had 4 left and I know a cavity didn't just pop up over night. Well they filled my teeth and my bottom right molar had literally a shaved crevice through the top of my tooth. I didn't like that and asked her to fix it. She ends up filling it in. Well now I have problems with my fillings. My teeth are super sensitive now and Biting on crunchy things hurts my teeth. I have another crevice on my top left tooth caused by them and I feel that makes my tooth even more prone to cavities. I've never experience problems with a filling before going to them . My email - @[protected]@hotmail.com

Aspen Dental Created a loan, prior to my knowledge, on services I was going to pay for out of pocket.

The office person submitted a loan application and didn't tell me until after I was seen in the exam room. I took a look at the paperwork and considered it an option. I came back for my next visit. I had already explained that I didn't want crowns, just fillings. The Dr. refused to give my fillings because I would not agree to the crowns. I suggested that the teeth be pulled if they were in such bad shape and the Dr. said, no, they do not need pulled. I came in the next day for my cleaning. I came out and the office person had paperwork for me. I was in a hurry to get back to work and signed. I assumed it was concerning my next visit in January for two wisdom teeth to be removed. I got home later and realized it was paperwork charging me $898.47. I was completely shocked! It was for the loan! I called and asked what was going on. I was told that part of the amount included the work I would be having done in January! Now how on earth can they charge me for services I have not yet received!? They don't know how much work will be required so I feel that this is completely unfair. I explained to them that they could cancel my future appointments and I needed a correction for the billing. I also asked for an itemized bill for the three appointments I had already had. I asked that it be emailed to me and the office person agreed to do this. I have not heard anything from them in over a week! I sent a message to this loan place explaining the situation so they know what's going on. I have every intention to pay what I actually owe, but no more! I have wonderful insurance and the services I have received are all 100% covered by them. Aspen Dental got me with the $130 for an electronic toothbrush and $44 for flouride rinse. I understand I will owe that on the bill. The rest of the $898 has not been corrected. I really don't know what else to do. I guess I could approach a lawyer with all of my information. I realize it probably wouldn't be a great idea financially. Thank you.

Aspen Dental Billing and insurance fraud

I was seen 4 times in 2019. My insurance was in network and they charged me 970 that I owe and the insurance paid their portion. I have paid 970 and now they refuse to let me get my teeth cleaned because I owe 331.60 for an appointment that I have an EOB showing I only owe $19.40 and the insurance owed $77.60 for. I never got a bill even online shows no statement. Now they call me and tell me they are sending me to collections. I am in process of filing complaint claims with my insurance, the state insurance commissioner and peer review for the state ada.

Aspen Dental Office manager

After 3 days of excruciating pain, and 2 hours waiting to be seen for my apt, I was taken to the back, and the staff was absolutely awesome. The xrays, the explanations, the compassion.. They had it all.. But leaving, to set up my financial planning, I was not only insulted, and called a liar simply asking a question. The officer manager lindsey was the rudest person ever... How can someone be so rude to patients who just had [censored]s in their mouth and has been in unfathomable pain for days... Maybe that's why there was a long wait ti be seen die to being short staffed. I would never work for someone with her attitude. This was not only unprofessional, it was just plain out inhuman... And since the estimate of the work needed was over 10,000. And of course lindsey knee I couldnt ever pay that amount, and I was gonna start with the $3290. Worth of work. It's pretty clear. Ur office manager cost u a good penny.. And her insinuation that I couldnt ever afford dental work,. Yet the office has it posted everywhere they do everything to help a patient get financed, idk why she works there period. Maybe run someone's credit before u make judgments based apperance on 3 days of pain and pjs to the dentist. Because if someone how, my credit was denied, which it wouldn't have been. My mom would have had no problem with covering the cost for me, to get me out of pain for good... This is unacceptable. And I will be exposing this office, and warning against it to everyone. Stear clear of aspen dental altogether

Aspen Dental All servicing and misleading website

My husband anthony went to aspen 11/12/19 with appt made online on the jensen beach location. Clearly website says reason: tooth pain. He got there at 7am to set for 2 hours for xrays. Finally they pulled tooth after insisting he cannot come back. He is the boss and he cannot just get off work. He was there for 3 hours and high pressure sales pitch. He came home with a sheet of 10k worth of work they say he needed. So then today 12/11 he had appt with the stuart location because jensen had no availability at 5:30. He got there and was told he could only get xrays again and could not have tooth pulled because they did not have opening! Online appt clearly said.. What is your appt for and we checked tooth pain! So then we called back jensen to see when then had opening and he was in pain. The guy said fri 8 am with credit card payment to pay in advance! What? So then I call jupiter location on indiantown road to see if appt for tomorrow and the lady kept saying juniper instead of jupiter and then I told her my husbands name and she acted like she did not know what she was doing and then kept callingmy husband richard after I had told her three time anthony. She had not put me on hold so not like she got me mixed up with another caller. This place has high pitch for sales and very misleading webpage for appt scheduling! They need to be re-trained or even shut down!

Aspen Dental They treat you like you are stupid

Went there to see about getting partials and upper plate. They said they would go ahead and clean my teeth after x-rays. I thought what would it hurt and had them go ahead and do it. After they numbed my mouth with about four or five shots, they scraped my teeth for over an hour and according to the X-rays I had very little build up. After the numbness wore off, started getting sensitive. Someone looked at them and said that the top of my teeth had been chipped off. Not one but all of my bottom teeth. I asked the dentist at Aspen what happened and she said she could buff it out. So I went back for the appointment and they had me set for fillings of the holes in my teeth. I asked them why they were filling my teeth if they had not missed them up. I told them I did not want them Drilling in my teeth anymore. I just wanted my teeth fixed. They told me I needed to go somewhere else because I did not trust them. I told them why should I trust you after you had knocked to the top off of my teeth and then denied it. I then called the corporate office in New York and they refuse to help at all. have been through a lot of pain through the holiday season because of these people. I was eating before I went, now it is harder to.

Aspen Dental Crown lengthening

I went to Aspen dental in Brookpark about almost a year ago. I and my husband accepted third party payment as we had Cigna and was told by the office manager that some services were not covered. I asked for crown lengthening and crown and my husband needed a crown as well. I and my husband signed up with credit to get this service. We were given appointments for our crowns after the procedure was done and told everything was paid for. A couple of weeks before my crown appointment i had another teeth that needed work. I went in and again was told that I was okay and paid up. My husband had recieved his crown before me cause I had to cancel for mine due to work. My appointment was rescheduled. After my teeth was fixed i was called to a desk and i was in so much pain that i signed paperwork. I got home looked down and realized that the were billing me more money for my crown. I called and the office manager was very nasty. I made several complaints and no resolve. I got hanged up on and my husband was told by the office manager to go to the other office that I contacted because i made a complaint on him. I finally decided to change office to Fairview office. Upon speaking to the office manager there i was told in order to get my crown I had to pay up front 500 dollars. I was livid because I had already paid for it. Upon threatening lawsuits there was still no resolve so i gave in and just finished the fixing of the teeth that was in pain and thereby forgoeing my crown. I went there for my last filling and was injected with numbing solution that eventually got squirted in my mouth after arguing with the dentist about me being allergic to the medicine racing my heart. To make along story short. I had to take out more loans and really only got fillings done. Which i have insurance. Also now I have to take out another loan to get the very first procedure done again. Because they would not give me my crown for the crown lengthening i had done now i am in pain two days before Thanksgiving with a crack in my teeth and fillings falling out of the tooth. I cant eat and enjoy Thanksgiving. I feel very depressed and cant cook for my family because i am so upset. I called the office and they told me to walk in. But i am so scared that they are going to ask for up front money and tack on more fees. The utter experience i have had with Aspen dental is that they dont seem to care about anything but money. While they seem to have a great Thanksgiving this holiday I and my family are miserable.

Aspen Dental Cleaning

Went in for a cleaning and was told I needed an extraction and several fillings fixed, I could not afford any of this work so I was pressured into signing for a finance package. After signing I was Was given the cleaning and sent on my way. Later I got a second opinion on the extraction and fillings at which point I was told they were fine, and not to go back to aspen dental. After several attempts to cancel finance plan going back and forth from the finance company to aspen dental I was told the cleaning cost $2, 000.00 and I have no choice but to pay it.

Aspen Dental Dental work and charges

Maxed out my insurance and I paid close to $2000 out of pocket. I ended up having to go a different dentist to have the work they did fixed because I was in so much pain. They also put expensive toothpaste in my bag during a cleaning that I didn't know about as well as telling me I had to have a special cleaning for my gums that required two expensive visits. This place is ridiculous

Aspen Dental Bottom metal/acrylic partial

Firstly, they made me an acrylic bottom partial denture. That broke within one weeks time. They then went on to making me a permanent metal bottom partial denture. This whole process took about 4 weeks time. Today I finally was able to get the finished metal/acrylic bottom partial. We tried it on and I noticed that the front row of teeth were slanted downward to form a vee from my top teeth and there was a severe overbite. They shaved the teeth and reshaved them.in short they look horrible! I paid about $1, 600 for this?! I am very very unhappy with this "finished" product. What can be done to remedy this? It was my expectation that I can get a partial that will compliment my smile not to be embarrased by it. I hope someone can help me. Sincerely, dwayne e. Croke.

Aspen Dental Dentures

In November 2017 I went to Aspen Dental and it was recommended that I get dentures. It is now November 2019 and I still have no permanent top teeth and the bottom teeth fall out and I have abutments that were put in. I am a realtor and in the public a lot. They made over 5 sets of upper teeth and they have not fit. I want a full refund for everything that I have paid which was paid in full, over 14, 000. I am currently seeking legal advice and I am going to go to different dentist to get my teeth when I get my money back. My name is Barbara Paulette Parson and my phone number is [protected] and my home address is 610 Putters Lane, 105H, Little River, SC 29566.

I am 68 years old and this has been the most horrific experience I have ever had. I was out with clients when my bottom teeth were in and they fell out right in front of them. I was mortified!

Aspen Dental Dentures

I paid over 3500$ for dentures! I went back at least 5 times I told them they were to big for my mouth! The dentures I got look nothing like the impressions looked! I swear to God they give me someone else's! I can't wear them at all, I can't close my mouth! I got sick of calling going in there with no results from them! I wrote a review on them, they said someone would be contacting me! And as usual I have heard nothing!

Aspen Dental Lower denture

On 11-12-2019 I went back for the 4th time to see if my dentures could be fixed. I cannot wear them at all. I asked why my other set of dentures, which I dropped and broke, fit and these new ones don't. I was told that is just the way it is and I would need to get 2 implants. The cost is over $9000.00! Had I known this prior to having al my bottom teeth removed, I would not have had them all removed. I was told that aspen has a denture money back guarantee that says if I am not happy with my dentures they will make them right or give me my money back. Since they will not fix my dentures, I would like my money back so I can go some where theat can make them right or use towards implants if I can find a place that lets me make payments. I am so angry, I can't go out in public, it is embarressing at work to wait on customers with no teeth! My life is misserable thanks to aspen dental.

Aspen Dental Deep cleaning

I was pressured into a deep cleaning in 2013. I was not informed that, as a result, I must repeat this procedure every 3 months, at the rate of $600 each time! I am a cash paying patient with no coverage! I couldn't afford that! This past week, I was forced to call for extraction of a wisdom tooth. After many xrays, I was told I now, suddenly, have severe bone loss, due to not keeping up with my deep cleanings. You see, my gums never grew shut again and bacteria has become deeply embedded and caused severe bone damage. Guess how much a deep clean would cost me now? $1, 350.00! Then, of course, I would have to do it every 3 months afterward... Forever. I was also told I should just pull all of my top teeth and get a top plate because my back teeth may begin hurting one day. What? I never would've agreed to the deep cleaning if someone would've explained to me (1) how expensive it would be, as I cannot afford it, (2) that my gums would never close-up, thereby allowing food particles and bacteria to cause major damage to my teeth, gums and bones, and, (3) that it was not necessary! I never had these issues before the deep clean. I'm stuck now with quickly deteriorating bones that will not support my teeth much longer. I also asked if I could get my partial re-lined and just get some general maintenance done on it, as I need it to last.
While the dentist said, "no, you need a new one," I subsequently, asked the office manager what it would cost to get it re-lined, and he gave me a price! Ugh! I was bullied in every sense of the word!

Aspen Dental False teeth are crooked uncomfortable and just plain ugly

Hi, This is whats going on. The teeth I paid for are at best mediocre they hurt constantly and i can't even wear the top plate as it is to big, warped and extremely crooked. I am reduced to eating soft foods and have lost weight due to this. The bottom has my front lip so raw i can't even put them in most days. This all started 7/05/2019 my acc number is [protected]-0. I have been there 4 ( maybe more) different times and always get excuses as to why they are funny shaped. Now I paid in full and thought I was getting a good service and to my horror the teeth are flat out scary. One person ask me if they were the as seen on tv teeth, you could imagine how I feel. I have no problems with the staff as they are very nice but deceptive. the teeth that were left needed to be pulled as well as they hurt on a daily basis. I would like a full refund for all services so I can go to another dentist because I am disabled and on an extremely tight budget, as many are . I will give some more time so you can review this and hope we can get it resolved, otherwise I have a lawyer on standby. I don't want to go that route but I will and I will get my full refund and then some for pain and suffering and maybe join the class action lawsuit already in progress. I just want what I was promised a nice new smile and I trusted them whole hardheartedly. Please help and I will wait for your response. Thank you and have a great day.

Aspen Dental Dental

I had went to go get my teeth checked, so I went to aspen dental. Turns out I had cavities so I went back to get it fixed. First appointment did not go wellat all. They used too much epinephrine, and I passed out. My teeth didnt get fixed that day, and they decided to split the days instead of doing it all at once. They also decided to use a different kind of numbing injection for my gums. The next appointment, instead of keeping the needle out of my view, had it right in front of me. I have a fear of needles and did not appreciate this at all. Not only that, but they got some of the numbing stuff in my mouth. The whole experience I had with Aspen Dental was not pleasant at all and I wish I had never gone to begin with. Weeks later, I get suprised by a bill that I owe them over $500, even though they said that would never happen.

Aspen Dental ruining of denture and painful sores

Went to an Aspen office in Port Charlotte Fl., on 8/20/2019 to have clips changed in denture as they had stretched out. Plate is 3 years old. On first visit was told they didn't have the clips but would order them. Returned on 8/30/19 and supposedly all clips were changed. Felt pretty good for about a day when I developed large sore under front edge of plate and they were as loose as they were when I first visited. Clips were readjusted so I was told, but to no avail. Went back again on 9/10, 9/18, 9/24 and the final visit on 9/28. On the visit of 9/18 the dental assistant told me she could see the problem and she was going to file the front edge. I don't know if she consulted the dentist or not. This byfar made the situation much worse. On final visit I was told another clip would be changed. Went in for my appointment and was taken back to the room. Waited an hour and 45 minutes before getting so upset I got up and went to the front desk and told them this was unacceptable. They were literally ready to close the office and not a single person came in the room to tell me they screwed up and didn't have the needed part. I have severe pain when eating, sore is still there despite following their orderes, front of chin is sore to the touch. I am very upset about this whole thing. Went to a prosthodontist when I returned home to Jennings and he replaced all clips and said not sure it would work as front of plate was too short thanks to filing at Aspen. Now the only option is to have a new plate made, take off the bar and have screws directly into plate making it truely permanent. This all to the tune of $8700.00 dollars. I don't have that kind of money and now am stuck with a plate that won't stay in, moves around with chewing thus causing the sore to stay open, pain, and pure anger for what has been done.
