Brident Dental & Orthodontics / Brident Services Scheduling and braces

I have had a issue with scheduling I make a appt and call before the appt date and they don’t have the appt in the system my son has not had a checkup in months and he goes yesterday 11/16/23 and the dentist says since he has plaque on his teeth she can not do the alignment and his front tooth is missing a bracket I am highly dissatisfy and really want my money back for the carelessness. Also the previous dentist or assistant he had which was a black woman I did not like how she spoke to my son treated him in a way like he was retarded…

Desired outcome: I want my sons teeth to be aligned I will advise him of washing but reguardless of the fact if he had a dentist available that was understanding it would be better

I went to have my Dentures relined about 1-2 weeks ago, but when I went there was 1 Dental Doctor working that day and I thought he was a specialist on denture lining! Well he was in very busy handling several patients and now I can’t use my bottom denture the top are ok but what I went for was sloppy s work done to me! Please email what y’all are going to do about this Dental Care!

Brident Dental & Orthodontics / Brident Services New patient exam x-rays

This place definitely should be shut down. First, let me inform all "UNSUSPECTING VICTIMS" that you will never speak to anyone at the actual dental office. All of their calls are automatically routed to an offshore call center that apparently does not provide the same information that you are likely to be told when you arrive at the actual dentist office.

I was told clear as day by a call center rep that all new patient exams and x-rays are free. I was told this several times on the phone by the offshore call center representative that I spoke to. However, when I arrived at the actual dentist office, I was told that the free exams and x-rays only apply to orthodontics services. Again, that was NEVER told to me by the call center representative that I spoke to, and when I tried to explain this to the person at the front desk at the dental office, she wouldn't budge and insisted that the free exams were for orthodontics services only. So basically, they let me waste my time and gas for absolutely nothing! Then, on top of that, I noticed that they scheduled about 15 or more people that same morning for an appointment with no care or concern for those people's time at all.

I should have considered all of the previous negative reviews on other review sites and never even bothered with this shady place that is definitely running an unethical operation. If you're reading this and considering this place, I will strongly advise you to go else where for your dental needs!

Brident Dental & Orthodontics / Brident Services Patient care coordinators

Nov.19,2022 - my first time to visit Brident in Westheimer. The attending dentist told me I had infection. And I need to take antibiotics. She also told me what needs to be done. So I asked for quotations. While sitting on the patients’ chair, the coordinator told me to finish my paper works and she’ll be right back. I waited for so long and she didn’t come back only to find out that she was just sitting in the front desk doing nothing. She told me that I have to wait for an hour or two to get my prescription from my preferred pharmacy. But, been checking the pharmacy from time to time, no prescription. I called the clinic Nov.21, they said that the coordinator who attended to me last Nov.19 was on break and they will let her call me back but nobody called back. In the afternoon of the same day the pharmacy called me up to say that my prescription is ready. If I didn’t call, the coordinator would have forgotten about it. Also I wasn’t given a receipt for the xray and whatever they charged me through my insurance.

Nov.29, 2022 - my second visit was a little bit better, or so I thought. Yvette, coordinator. offered me an option of, either thru credit care or in-house. So I chose credit care since she said that they’re giving payment plan of 6months, 12 or 18 months etc. without interest as long as I pay on time, so I told her, I am choosing 18 months. Again, I wasn’t given a receipt. So I called her to ask for receipt and she said she’s going to email it to me but I didn’t get a receipt in my email. So last Dec. 3, I went to the clinic to get the receipt. In the receipt, it was indicated only the total amount. No breakdown of the number of months to pay and the cost per month. So I called Credit Care to check but they said that it’s Brident’s promo and that I have to call Brident. So again, Yvette was on break at 4pm. And again they said that they will let Yvette call me back as soon as she’s back from break. As expected, no Yvette called back.

Brident’s customer service particularly in Westheimer is so bad. I should have read the review first before I came to Brident. To be honest, it was a traumatic experience for me being a first time dental patiemt in the US. I hope the coordinators will be trained well on customer service. If you ask their name over the phone, they wouldn’t tell their name. That alone can speak for itself, cos if you know you are doing your job there’s no reason why you can’t say your name.

Desired outcome: Since customers are paying your service, I think we deserve a good customer service not only from the doctors or technicians but also from the front desk and coordinators because they’re the one we talk to and rely on on our inquiries.

Brident Dental & Orthodontics / Brident Services Partial for back of mouth

I went in for partial to be made I paid them in full. First they told me they made the first wrong and had to remold my mouth. I went back on June 2 2023 after waiting o month or two to call me back with partial still no one contacted me. I recorded me asking for a refun because he said system was down and couldn’t put it in sytyem. I called back three weeks later . The manager said he would contact me the following Monday or Tuesday still no response so o went back in June then he printed me a letter of request out for refund. I called and talked to ms. Fore in cooperate or billing office. She told me she would have them call me within 72 hours . Still no one has called I called back today which is august 2 and they said the office was closed and I have to go on to speak manager because he didn’t put my refund in system

Brident Dental & Orthodontics / Brident Services dentistry and ortho care

My son got braces in September of 2017 we got behind on the bill and the office refused to administer any kind of care for 9 months. I called the Preston Agency and paid the account in full getting a receipt that has my account number and balance paid in full on the attachment. He has been seen 3 times since that time once a month every month. I received a call today on 06/28/2018 saying I still owe them $1900 and wont be able to receive care from the office once more. This is after the bill was paid receipt was sent out to me and no correspondence has come through collections or the office in the form of an email bill or paper bill.

Billing department is so horrible that it's not existent! Providing patients with billing statements are good practice for the company as well for financial tracking for both parties.

Early June 2023 this year, I called their "billing number." It didn't ring. So I called their "customer service number." I press 5 for billing (even now Aug 7)no ring, the call immediately states that noone is available and the mailbox is full. The corporate phone does the same thing when I press 5 for billing. So I can't call anyone and the dental office will just send me back to billing.

June 2, I sent an email to their customer service email requesting itemized statements from this year's past payments made. No response.

June 8, I replied to the same email to them, except I added their corporate email, begging for help.

June 10, the customer service email officially submitted my request!

June 21, I ask the status of the itemized statements.

June 22, they need 30 days (not including weekends) to create them.

July 28, I once again added corporate email to my customer service email, mentioning that it had been 35 days (not including weekends) and still haven't received an itemized statement!

Aug 2, I have my itemized statements.

Also, I need current billing statements and I was told by the "short temper" girl on the phone that those are "courtesies." I told her that I have these statements paid when they are available. She mentioned that the office could provide them. I've done that too, they only offer credit card receipts. Her only job was to have my credit card number and not to help me any further. Then who could help me if billing department doesn't exist?

I need itemized receipts for back pay from my FSA account at work so I can get reimbursed any medical expenses. I can also use FSA to directly pay the medical office with a "billing statement."
