Bild myself and my insurance almost $100 for a tooth "extraction
Bild myself and my insurance almost $100 for a tooth "extraction". My 6 year old daughter went for 6 month cleaning/checkup. Being 6, she had some loose baby teeth. One was particularly loose, hanging from her gums. The dentist asked my daughter if she wanted her to remove the tooth-- and she said "yes". Had I known this was a billable "procedure", I would have declined the "service" of a healthcre professional to pull out a baby tooth with zero underlying issues.
I paid $3,990 and my insurance paid $1,000 for my son to get his braces
I paid $3,990 and my insurance paid $1,000 for my son to get his braces. My son's braces were put on 6/10. He was scheduled on 8/9 for his braces to be tightened. A week or 2 before his appointment, a lady from the staff called to cancel his appointment. She advised me that they were in the process of renovating the Orthodontic sweet & would be calling me in the next weeks to reschedule his appointment. I have not heard from the office in over a month, so I called the office yesterday to reschedule the appointment. Julie the receptionist advised me again that they were working on the orthodontic sweet still & would be calling me in the next few weeks. I explained to Julie that we were already a month behind and asked to be scheduled at a different office. That is when she advised me that they have no orthodontists employed in the office. I would like all my money returned so my son can receive his dental care.
