Ashley HomeStore Bed

I bought a brand new king size bed & mattress from Ashley furniture, heritage gate S.E

On 29th May, the very first day when I was sleeping on my bed, in 2-3 mins the bed collapsed from the middle & I hurt my back.

I contacted customer service next day, which is the worst customer service ever. They were not understanding, non empathetic towards my concern and demanded me to click the pictures of broken part. It took them almost a week to figure out what bed I have & what part needs to be repaired.

It took them 20 days to get the parts delivered & another 2-3 days to send technician to get it fixed. The technician came & fixed half of the bed & went saying more parts needs to be ordered. Again I had to wait nearly 25 days to get my parts & called the technician to fix. I was sleeping without bed for almost 75-80 daysThe bed is not fully repaired as new yet. Everytime I used to call client care, they were rude and arrogant people extremely disrespectful over the call & even hungs up.

I will never recommend Ashley furniture ever, I demanded full refund but no one cared about anything

We purchased a sofa set that was made by Ashley Furniture. We have only had it for 3 months and it is the worst piece of furniture we have ever owned. We needed something quick as we had just made a move cross county and this was available, but let me warn others, the furniture is cheap.

Ashley HomeStore Do not by the warranty program from 5 star service

THEY USE A FAKE COMPANY 5 STAR SERIVICE THAT IS A SCAM. They don't respond to your claims and don't return calls, you will never get your warranty honored.

Ashely Furniture says they are unable to help because this is a 3rd party company.

5 Star Service is a representative of Ashely and this is unacceptable. They should not be selling their warranty programs if this vendor can't support their customers.

I am not the first person to file a complaint and I'm sure I will not be the last.

Desired outcome: I want Ashely to refund the money I spent on the warranty.

Ashley HomeStore 5 Star Services

I can't see to get anyone to help me with my warranty claim I created a ticket with 5 star services 7/5/23 sent them the pictures they requested and they have not responded to my repeated phone calls to see what the next steps would be to get my table repaired or replaced. I reached someone 1 x out of 10 who said my claim is being reviewed that was 2 weeks ago. I called Ashley store locally and she said she called and they said the same thing they told me two weeks ago and she had no further information or instructions how I could speak with someone directly. This is outrageous poor service, by the time the respond my warranty will have expired. 5 Start Services is a terrible 3rd party company to align yourself with.

Ashley HomeStore Poor quality

I purchased a Maggie sofa because the salesperson said the fabric was made with performance quality. It was absolutely not...it stretched, looks worn and dingy---mainly the entire sofa is made with extremely poor quality material and parts.

I have only had the sofa for 5 months...you cannot say that my complaint is due to normal wear and tear. If the quality was even close to being up to par, it would not qualify as normal wear and tear in 5 months! I was told that the sofa cushions and backing could be replaced...why in the world would anyone want to repeat the SAME situation again!

I asked to receive a store credit in order to buy another sofa that has "true performance quality", but I was denied.

I am willing to pay more money to be happy with the service from Ashley Furniture in Norwalk, CT, but it seems they stick to their script about returns. I have researched many websites about Ashley Furniture and have noticed there are many, many, many, complaints about the customer service. I wish I would have looked into the complaints before I made my purchase!

I am hoping for an amicable resolution to my most unpleasant situation.

Desired outcome: Please take sofa back and give a store credit or original payment refund.

Ashley HomeStore Foundation too high, not told about availability of 5inch foundation for my bed.

purchased mattress and foundation from Ashley store in INdianapolis from Devin May 4,2023. Went back to store for request to trade to get thinner foundation for bed. we are elderly and it is way too high for safe ingress or egress. Devin had us talk to customer service manager in store, he said he was not authorized to make exchange. had to call Nashville office. I have called 3 times (currently on hold again) for over 1 hour time on hold. Called7/19, 7/25 and 7/26. Today CSR Javier just said I did not talk to him yesterday and he could not make exchange. Asked for supervisor, Javier did not want to transfer. now on hold 19 minutes for supervisor. He came back on and told me he requested supervisor it would be a while. No hold music this time,I think I was hung up on again. Hung up on, they tried to call back .

We just want to exchange metal foundation. no money exchange just the 5 inch foundation.

Desired outcome: we want to exchange 10 inch foundation for a 5 inch foundation. thats all.

Ashley HomeStore Bed

We purchased a King Adjustable Bed from Ashley Furniture a bit over a year ago. Since day 1 we have been unsatisfied. We paid so much for this bed and was so excited but have been nothing but a headache and disappointment. Firstly, the salesperson told us this was a firm mattress. It is not. Secondly when we raised our concerns right after delivery we were told we can only return 24 hrs after order? Ridiculous. They told us we couldn’t do anything at that point since it’s been delivered and set up. Funny, cuz now after a year they told us about a “100 day sleep guarantee” but we asked if there is anything we could do and were NOT told about this the day after delivery. The mattress is so uncomfortable, it’s also turning into a “U” or “V” shape, and not a year later but literally less than a month later! Now we’re told someone from manufacturing could come out and MAYBE see the mattress to MAYBE determine to get a new one. But even if the do, ITS THE SAME MATTRESS THEY WOULD GIVE US. What’s the point when since day 1 there was issues? What kind of customer service is this. We’ve been raising concern since day 1 is been over a year and have been so affected by this. Never buy from Ashley’s the sales people guilt you and push you and over promise but never deliver. Even gives your life more issues! Worst furniture company we’ve dealt with. I’ve had amazing experiences with other furniture companies. I have never complained about any other thing we got. This is my first time going out of our way to complain because even the customer service is so rude to us and cut us off mid speech basically saying there is nothing they can do. Besides the mattress the actually bed frame itself was never put in t! The delivery guys were so unprofessional and didn’t even drill the nails all the way through! Guess how many times my husband and I have gotten huge cuts on our leg from getting into bed! When I showed them pictures of the nails not properly in (literally sideways sticking out) we showed them these pictures less then 24 hours of delivery they brushed us off and said we’ll maybe someone can come have a look at it but there’s nothing we can do since it’s past the time. What? Ridiculous how rude they are the second after you make payment. The bed is PEELING. It started peeling less than a couple weeks we had it! We had our other bed/furniture from other places that had no defects after YEARS of use. How cheap is it that it’s peeled so quickly? When we bring this up we’re brought with quietness and diverting from our question. They try to gaslight us by saying “well is it the bed or mattress that’s the issue, you keep saying both?” YEA BECAUSE IT IS BOTH we payed well over $1,500 for disappointment since day1. Back pain, lousy mattress that looks so cheap. Peeling bed and a very over priced adjustment base that is so disappointing. We tried to negotiate with them to take the bed back and at least give us some store credit. But no, they offered nothing but acting annoyed and wanting to hang up. I’ve never felt so disappointed by a company ever. I’ve never gone out of my way to complain but Ashley took advantage of us being super nice and pushy and promising during sale but -000000 after paying. Our whole bed from frame, mattress and adjustable base has been nothing but disappointment and crazy back pain followed by many doctor’s appointments and physiotherapist that we NEVER needed with our old bed from Teppermans. I regret changing out our bed because that one was a dream! And way less money. The photos I’ve upload show before and after when pressure is applied. First the remote, and then a hand. If it goes that much in on such little weight imagine when your whole body gets into bed! Even just our heads sink in so much that we can’t breathe cause our noses and mouths are covered by the mattress sinking in so much! And thats just less than a month of having it. Now only 1.5 years later still bad. We’ve tried to resolve with them so many times over a year and they barely give and options. The options they give is the same always that has 0 results. We are done just being ignored or sent on a loop of no results just to waste our time. We want a refund now.

Ashley HomeStore Protection plan

I purchased furniture on 30 June with a protection plan. I was told information about the plan will be delivered with the furniture. When information was not delivered I looked into the plan online and it was not what was promised in the store. I have tried on 6 occasions to contact the store. The store number goes to main number. The main number hangs up on you after 25 minutes. I contacted sales person. She said she would take care of it and get back to me. Never happen and won't respond. I contacted illinois attorney General along with BBB to see if they can help. I also contested the charge with CC. Worse consumer service ever. Before purchase try and see if you can get through. If there is any problems with your order this is what to expect.

Desired outcome: I want to be credited for protection plan $379.99

Ashley HomeStore Delivery

I purchased a bedroom set and was supposed to be deliver within a week ok what can I do I waiting all day for the delivery which they just send me a random txt at there time frame not mine so I took the day off work just to be safe. Whats my suppose they were supposed to arrive here on June 27 at 4-5pm and I was there 12 stop well 5pm and they send a message sorry for the inconvenience they cancelled my order. Ok trying to reach out to them again there phones don't work only there chats I have been trying to reach out to someone and they reschedule online again my order thru chat well this time there coming on a Saturday and they send a message they will be here @2 pm were they show the location waited until 1:40 what my surprised they CANCELLED AGAIN. Ugh this is very unpleasant and unprofessional. I almost never write complain but my level of madness is high right now they are bunch of unprofessionals in that warehouse. How come they dont check the invoices of the orders cause I cant figure out a way they cancelled every time. Worst delivery service in Pharr, Tx and still another week and nothing no msg no nothing..

I purchased this mattress on 4/18/23 for 2044.24 I have called for the last 3wks dt the mattress is caving in in the middle. My son is disabled and spents 22hours a day in bed, this is causing him severe pain. When I called I kept being told I didnt order it online which I did finally I got in touch with someone who told me I could get a replacement but that department is closed. So I waited til after the holiday, and now I get cant talk to anyone dt high call volume.Text to this number [protected] and you cannot leave a message. Ashley HomeStore Product protection plan

I purchased some furniture from the Ashley Homestore located in Madison Heights, MI on 7/1/23. I also purchased the Extend Product protection 5 year plan for $879.99. I was told by the salesperson that upon the delivery of my furniture I would also receive a care kit for buying the plan to clean any small spills, and that I would also receive this care kit every 2 months. My furniture was delivered on 7/7/23, WITHOUT THE CARE KIT. I tried to contact the store, but only a recording comes on that says how busy they are and to dial another number given. I called this number and told the rep about my problem and he said that he had never heard of a "care kit." I called the protection plan number and the person told me that the only time they send a care kit out is when a claim is filed. I paid $400 more than Gardner White charges for their protection plan, and they DO OFFER A CARE KIT, which you can get the lifetime of their warranty. I do not appreciate being lied to, nor do I not appreciate being able to talk to a store manager to clear this matter up. Ashley Homestore, you have earned a unhappy customer.

Desired outcome: 1. An apology 2. $440 refund (half the price of the protection plan) or3. The care kit now and every 2 months

I am seeking to a Nashburg bed , queen size bed that is advertised on the Ashley.com, website. I purchased two full mattresses for $663.56 and the mattresses were M69621, Full Chime. I saw advertised on the Ashley.com, website several mattress and bed promotions advertised. I am requesting two beds in full size, for example the Alisdair and the Nashburg in black metal.

Furthermore, I greatly appreciate if you could locate a retailer, who would be willing to send the beds. I still have my receipt to verify my purchase of the two mattresses.

Ashley HomeStore Sectional seating

On February 19th, 2023 I purchased furniture from an Ashley HomeStore in Longview, Texas. The items were delivered on May 23, 2023 and we immediately noticed that a left arm and right arm recliner were unable to connect due to missing wedge pieces. One reclining piece is missing hardware and does not work. The headrest of another reclining piece does not work and a third reclining piece is missing stuffing in the fabric.

We requested a full refund due to the furniture we purchased being discontinued and were offered store credit. There is not any other furniture that meets or needs or desires. We're being denied a full refund.

Desired outcome: A full refund due to Ashley's Home Store fraudulently selling us incomplete and damaged products.

Ashley HomeStore Furniture

I had purchased a living room set from Ashley's in February. One piece of the set which was a wedge was returned due to it being broken. I was told to go pick it up a replacement at the warehouse in New Braunfels, Texas. I drove out of my way only to open a box with another broken piece. The warehouse guy was attempting to give me another one that appeared to be wrapped up with clear wrapping. The bottom of the piece had built up dirt on the bottom and did not have any of the leg rest. Bottom line is, I did not continue with purchase of the wedge. I emailed the managers of the Zarzamora store in San Antonio, Texas and have yet to receive a response. I am being charged still for this piece of furniture and I feel I should not have to pay for something I did not purchase. The Synchrony bank to which I am paying my bill is not able to tell me what I am being billed for. I have attempted calling the store numerous times and you can never get through or they hang up. From the day of delivery, this has been a complete disaster. I am asking someone to please reach out to me at [protected] so this could be resolved.

Desired outcome: I would like to be credited for the piece of furniture I did not purchase.

Ashley HomeStore Warranty service

I purchased a living room set in June of 2019. At the time, I told the sales associate I didn't want the warranty, so she got up and had one of the supervisors come over to try to sell it to me. After saying no to him, another came over and all three people (associate and two sales managers) were tag teaming to get me to purchase the warranty. I was told if I had kids and/or animals that caused ANY damage, the warranty would cover it. "You would be crazy not to get it, its one of the best warranties out there and we have it in writing", which the sales manager showed me their pamphlet that did say damage from children/animals including urine stains/ tears, etc. would be covered. So I gave in and paid $499.99 for a 5 year warranty.

A little over a year later, I noticed the cushion on my chaise was damaged, so I submitted a claim, asking if they can just replace the cover as it tore along the zippered area- Diamond Care Plus (the warranty company) said that damage wasn't covered and then I discovered the cushion itself was choppy and shredded which gave the chaise a sunken appearance. Then I had an animal who was old urinate on my recliner while I was out of town, so it sat there fully absorbed into the non-removable cushion for days. Till this day, I still can't get the odor nor the brownish stain removed. I submitted a claim, confident that I wouldn't have issues after the experience with the sales managers. The warranty company asked for photos, and immediately responded saying they couldn't see any stains, and odors weren't covered. I went to the store and spoke to Jose, the sales manager, on that day. He immediately jumped on the phone after him and two sales associates all said that should have been covered and that he would get my warranty honored. He said he would get back to me. Well, weeks went by and I didn't hear anything. Found out, he only works a few hours a week, and didn't bother to ask if another sales manager can followup. Eventually after calling multiple times and leaving multiple messages, he called me back and said that the warranty company stated they will contact me to resolve the issue. I never received any call, and when I followed up myself with the company, I was told they were still not covering it. So now I have a damaged recliner ($399.99) and chaise ($499.99), plus the cost of the $499.99 warranty, totaling $1399.97 and no resolution. I am about to file a lawsuit as this is clearly false advertising, and in my book fraud as it was shown to me IN WRITING! I also have a coffee table that will not stay open (it is the kind that the top cover opens and acts as a adjustable table), due to the screws giving out, but I didn't bother submitting that, being I would be denied anyways. After researching Ashely Furniture's warranty company, I was blown away seeing how many people are looking to all join a class action lawsuit for the same issues!

Desired outcome: I expect to get the results that I was promised when I made the purchase- I would get credited my purchase price. So I expect to be credited for both the Recliner and the Chaise.

Ashley HomeStore Sales and delivery

If I could give 0 stars, I would. Do not purchase anything from the Buford Ashely HomeStore! They appear to be nice and friendly when you are purchasing but have not consideration for their customers. They sell you items not informing you that they are on back order and then when your delivery date is delayed, they tell you that there system showed in in stock but the warehouse is separate and is the one that contacts you about that actual delivery. Contacting the corporate office is a necessity. However, they leave it up to the store to provide compensation for your inconvenience of deliver delays and misinformed inventory. I spoke with the manager at the Buford store who resulted to the policy signed when you purchased the item and PAID for delivery as the excuse in addition to not being aware of the warehouse operations. However, she was dismissive and unashamed at the unprofessional business practices employed at the Ashley HomeStore. She was very okay with losing a customer due to these practices and unconcerned of the inconvenienced caused. They must have been getting away with these kind of practices for some time but hopefully, this will help people to go somewhere else for your purchases as I have, you have much better options with companies that actually appreciate their customers and are intentional about seeing them return.

Ashley HomeStore Beware of Coco Simpson at Ashley Homestore Houston Outlet: A Review

Ashley Homestore is a great place to shop for furniture, but my experience with one particular assistant manager named Coco Simpson at the Houston outlet location was not so great. My wife and I were looking for a couch for our new home and found one we liked. Coco told us the price was $1649.99 for the 6 pieces, but then told us the pieces just sold to other customers. She then told us she had a brand new set in the warehouse for the same price. We agreed and made our purchase, but then started getting calls from Coco about a week and a half later stating that the couch needed to be picked up or she would sell it.

We told her we were about a month away from moving into our home and did not have a storage unit, but she told us it was no big deal and the pieces could remain in the warehouse until we were ready to pick them up. However, when we went to pick up the pieces, we found out that three of them were from the showroom and had stains and piling on the cushions. We called Coco to let her know, but she never answered the phone. We texted her and got a response several minutes later stating that we were told upon purchase that these items were all clearance and that's why we got them for $1649.99, which was a complete lie.

We did not accept delivery of the couch and Coco never provided a way to make things right or any type of customer service. Ashley needs to demote Coco Simpson and retrain her or have her work in the warehouse. The gentleman who actually tried to help should be promoted instead. Overall, Ashley Homestore is a great place to shop for furniture, but be careful when dealing with Coco Simpson at the Houston outlet location.

Ashley HomeStore Terrible Experience at Ashley Furniture Store: Damaged Items, Poor Customer Service, and No Resolution

I had a really bad experience shopping at Ashley Furniture Store and I just have to share it. My husband and I bought $4,000 worth of furniture from the Ashley Furniture showroom in Fairfield, CA in January 2019. We were told that some items were on back order and we asked that everything be held for delivery all at the same time. The salesperson said it wouldn't be a problem.

In March 2019, we got a text saying that a delivery was scheduled for the next day but they didn't give us a time. I called to ask about the time and the representative was really rude. They said that we had agreed to be available all day when we signed the purchase contract. I asked to speak to a supervisor but was told they were unavailable and would call me back. I never heard from a supervisor.

The delivery we got was a sofa and vanity table. But the delivery person put the vanity table together backward. The next day we went back to the store to talk to the salesperson but they sent us to customer service. The customer service representative ignored us so I asked to speak to a manager. We waited for over 45 minutes for the manager to come and talk to us. When they finally did, they were really rude and aggressive. We asked for a discount but were told no because our items were on sale. We were only offered a $100 gift card for our next full value purchase.

Since March 2019, we've had deliveries twice a month up until July 20, 2019. But my vanity and dining room tables are still damaged. The repair person who came out on May 17, 2019 said that both tables were not repairable and needed replacing. They also said that all 4 chairs needed to be cleaned or replaced because they were soiled.

At the final delivery in July 2019, the driver only brought 1 dining room chair instead of 4. The chair had a large black stain on it. The driver also had a replacement table for me but it was damaged and discolored. I asked the driver to take pictures of the damaged table and dirty chairs for dispatch but they said not to worry and that someone would be in touch. But I haven't heard from anyone and my issues have yet to be resolved!

In the end, we had to fix the vanity ourselves and our dining room table has yet to be replaced because it has dried spray paint stains. Our chairs are filthy and we have no kitchen table because it was destroyed and taken away by their driver in July 2019.

We are so angry! We had to cancel our 10th wedding anniversary celebration dinner because we had no dining room table. Our children have no kitchen table because it's been over a month since our table was destroyed by their driver. We haven't received a credit for the kitchen table. The store manager, Perry, and the regional manager, Gary Donovan, have made it clear that customer satisfaction and resolution are not their priority. We had Thanksgiving with no kitchen table, refund, or decent dining table. We regret not going to RC Wiley's! We are at our wits' end with this company. I filed a claim with the Better Business Bureau, reached out to the Department of Consumer Affairs, and 7 on your side. I'm even seeking legal counsel.

Ashley HomeStore Terrible Customer Service and Warranty Experience with Ashley Homestore

I am very disappointed with Ashley Homestore. I purchased a couch for $3,000 six months ago, and it broke after only a few days. Since then, my partner and I have been dealing with the worst customer service we have ever experienced. We have called, emailed, and texted at least twice a week for six months, and hardly anyone has responded. When we do get a response, we are often hung up on or told that we will be called back, but we never receive a call.

Finally, a month ago, we were able to get the replacement piece delivered. However, they would not accept the broken piece that we had for five months because it had some dog hair on it. We have two small dogs, and we have been trying to get the piece replaced for six months. If the company had replaced the piece when we called about it six months ago, there would not have been any dog hair. However, it is impossible to get every molecule of dog hair off, especially when we have to wait weeks and months to get delivery service.

The second time they finally shipped out the replacement piece, which was today, we were told yet again that it could not be replaced because of the dog hair. I asked where in the contract it says that it cannot be accepted with a minuscule amount of dog hair. I was told that it is in the delivery driver's contract, but not ours. This is not my problem. We even had a representative weeks ago say she would put a note on the driver's order form saying to take the piece even if there is dog hair because it is ridiculous. However, that did not happen. We were told today that the drivers would have to pay out of pocket if there was hair.

Now, the company is guilt-tripping us into keeping a $3,000 broken couch that we paid a $400 warranty on. I do not care about the $2 that the driver might have to pay for the 10 pieces of hair on this broken couch that we have been trying to get fixed for six months. Maybe if there was proper customer service and someone responded to our 100+ calls and emails, the couch would not have hair because it would not be sitting in our small apartment with two shedding dogs for six months.

I also know that the shipping company is separate from Ashley, but since they work together, it should have been stated in our warranty contract that the warranty is basically null and void if there is hair on the broken piece. If that was the case, I would not have paid $400 extra for a service that was not going to be provided anyway.

This whole ordeal has made me very angry. It is taking all of my willpower to not cuss out every representative or dump the broken couch in front of Ashley Homestore and refuse to pay another cent. I should not have to pay $3,000 and $400 for a warranty when all we have had is a broken, uncomfortable piece of furniture, and not a single representative or manager will help us.

I know it is just a couch, but it was $3,000, and it has been broken practically since the day we got it. We have had to use this uncomfortable couch for half a year, and then we are told it cannot be replaced because it has some hair on it. Nobody has been willing or able to help us. We call, and we are ignored. We have been incredibly patient, and this company does not deserve it. I wish I had never stepped foot inside the store, and I will be posting this review everywhere I can because maybe then we will get some customer support on this broken $3,000 piece of crap furniture. But probably not. If there is anything I have learned from the past half-year, it is that Ashley Homestore does not care about their customers.

Homestore. I cannot stress enough how terrible my experience was with this company. From the moment I walked into the store, I was bombarded with lies and deceit from their salespeople. They promised me great discounts and protection plans, but in reality, they were just trying to catch me in their trap. The worst part was when they added 10% to my purchase because of financing, even though they had asked me to open a credit card for financing two days beforehand. This caused my credit score to drop and I had to pay all upfront, which was very stressful for me.

After payment, they set our delivery for three weeks later, even though we were promised a 3-4 day delivery by the salesperson. When the delivery finally arrived, we were shocked to see that they had brought us garbage, damaged, scratched, and even some floor samples instead of brand new items. They even broke my door, damaged my wall, and scratched my hardwood floor. To make matters worse, the delivery guys faked my wife's signature, which was signature forgery, and caused $2130 damage to my property.

After numerous calls and 10 hours of my time wasted, they scheduled us for another delivery, which was also a disaster. We had to accept all the garbage they delivered to us because we were tired of their lies and mental problems they had caused us. All in all, Ashley Homestore is a scam and their employees are professional liars and scammers. I cannot believe they are still in business with such awful customer service. Please do not make the same mistake I did and avoid this store at all costs.
