I visited Dr. Bhartendu Swain at apollo hospitals hyderabad to see if there are any treatments that can improve acne scarring on my face. He started with few peels and when I said I didn't see any improvement to scarring, he suggested dermabrasion. I was skeptical but the confidence he showed made me to go with him. What I can say is that, he spoilt it up totally. My face ended up with bigger scars.

All I can say is, don't ever consult him. He is just a merchant and this is his business. He will end up doing experiments on you.

I have a horrible experience today i.e.29/03/2018 when I visiteed aat Apollo clinic city cenre saltlake for USC as advised by my attending physician at around 9.30 AM. The nurse posted at USC department is so ill behaved that cannot be explained. She was supported by the lady staff at back office during the material time. Inn fact all the lady front office staff and nurses posted in the aid does not know how to address a customer. They use to address patient by the word 'Patient' instead of 'Mr/Mrs/Miss and then his/her name. Even they didnot welcome any custoner with smiling face. It seems that customers are unwarranted persons to visit their clinic. I feel myself very much humiliating and could not digest this type of behaviour/attitude. Therefore, I have decided not to visit this clinic any more and also advice my friends, relatives and close circle not to stepin in that clinic.

Hello,

My father admitted in Apollo hospital name : NIRANJAN SAHOO UHID : OIC.[protected], PA NO : 598716 from 12th sep to 16th sep, I cleared all the fees before taking the discharge. I stay in Pune, my brother was staying with my father in hospital who does not have much idea about the process. Initially hospital told us to provide the CD against the test of CAG package, however at the time of discharge they strictly told my bother that they wont provide the CD. I need this CD for further reference. I am not sure why Apollo is denying to provide the CD where the patient is my father and I have also paid Rs.13750/- against the test. Request you to deliver the CD to my bother at the earliest. I have provided the attachment with all references. Please look into the matter in an urgent basis.

thanks

Hi friends I strongly agree with the above comments. yes now a days hospitals have become a business and doctors no more into genuine selfless service they are just brokers to earn money. it's not only apollo hospital but every hospital on this planet is filled with such who show up as experienced specialist doctors with so many degrees but in reality they just forget they job and are in competition of earning money. which doctor is earning more than which doctor. I had seen in apollo secunderabad hospital all these doctors who are just there making money and good for nothing in they profession. just good for nothing. but still I continue visiting that hospital as I have no other option. these forget that they are living and enjoying this luxurious life just because of we patients who give away all our hard earned money, poor people selling properties, gold they fields to meet the medical expenses. but these so called super specialist doctors are there only to make us keep waiting for hours for consultation then unnecessarily write a list of medical tests and then write a long list of expensive tablets.in case if you those medicines for some reasons not suiting your body then immediately this doctor will ask you to stop these medicines and again give you a long list of fresh medicines which are again dam expensive. the pharmacy fellow will not be ready to take the old medicines but we are left with no other option of buying new medicines. these so called labelled specialist doctors earn money on the medical tests what they ask us to get it done. these doctors get percentage on the medical tests, they earn money on the medicines we buy from apollo pharmacy and to even more earn further this doctor will refer you to another internal specialist of the same hospital for some different opinion so you need to pay again consultation to the other specialist to whom your regular doctor has prescribed and this regular doctor will get commission on that as well. it's a barter system like in school days I read I give you my goods and you give me your goods. exchange system. so one specialist will refer you to another specialist internally unnecessarily because both can earn extra commission from the medical tests, from pharmacy and so on. hats off to doctors in apollo secunderabad. I visited apollo for regular check doctor made me wait for hours as he was not in hospital. the administration staff told he in on the way, in traffic, in operation theatre, with a critical patient and so on. and as soon as that fellow came the administration staff went into his chamber for his days collection with a bundle of 500rs a thick bundle of 500rs. the doctors in 1st floor op floor apollo hospital after they are done with days work they feel they have really done something impossible to possible and it's they right when the administration lady gives them they money bundle. they want only money but not patients welfare. so many doctors while talking to patients always hang up on whatsapp and read messages smile to themselves like a blady pysco and they ask us "oh i'm sorry so what where you saying sir". these dogs live a happy luxurious life just because of us. they are nothing without we patients. worst than prostitutes these doctors in apollo secunderabad are. doctors in secunderabad apollo I wish that each person in your family should suffer from dreadful diseases and they should be diagnosed incorrectly and be prescribed with a never ending list of medical tests and incorrect painful medicines. atleast one family member should suffer and die in front if your eyes and you so called specialist must be running like made dogs from pillar to post and should not get timely help and you must loose your lover ones. only then you will understand what it is when our blood suffers and is in pain. until then you dogs will just do this dirty business. death and dreadful disease must strike you doctors loved ones and ii want pain and suffering should be a ongoing process in your loved ones life only then you so called super specialist doctors will know your duties and back to pevillion to do a honest job. shame on you doctors for such barbaric behaviour. don't know how come your parents, family are living on such money you people earn. worst hospital apollo secunderabad.

Patient name : gnana soundary
Admitted : in apollo madurai, apirl 25th2016
She met with an accident and got head injury and fracture in left leg. I admitted her in emergency ward in apolo hospital, madurai. there mr. sundar rajan told she is having bleeding in brain and we must open the skull to realse the bleeding and reduce the compression of brain due to bleeding, operation was overed sucessfully and she had a breathing trouble so they prescribed ventilator for her, and after a week they told trachastomy is good for who is continuing ventilator more than a week. even though doctors knew trachastomy causes infectial cold and fewer due to open hole in throat and after 3 days of trachostomy she got cold and fewer. use less fellows dr. padma prakash (icu incharge) and dr. meena latha handled her for cold they usually says to the attender (there is no higher antibiotics in the world and the last higher antibiotics we are using now for cold). is padma prakash a doctor? a perfect dr can test the cold and what type of bacteria present in the cold we could find in culture test and they can support her by perfect antibiotics. and so there is no need of using higher antibiotic. after 3 days of continous cold and fewer dr. padma prakash says now we have changed the antibiotics let see weather its working or not? to learn how to become a good doctor, is my mom is practical lab for him? we told that we need a good suggestions from (pulmanologist dr. palaniappan sir, for cold and respiratory problems) for that dr. padma prakash was already handling for cold got anger and that begger fellow is treating attenders like illiterate peoples. as if he is a god of all doctor's he is talking to us and dr. meena latha is asking us how dare you attenders are keeping viboothi in icu bed do you know how expensive each bed is? that begger girl don't know the value of each life which they are playing as experimental lab and even though I have spent 10 lakhs to apollo. and finally as my mom is a practical lab for them (dr. padma and one of the best dr. meena latha) performed best experiments in moms medical life for cold without consulting pulmanolligt they both gave an best higher antibiotic and blood pressure gone down and she expired... finally dr. padma prakash says we have tried a lot and we could not save the life and sorry to this... if icu incharge don't know to handle after all a cold and he is having prestigious problem to discuss with other doctor's and finally he killed my mom (apollo gets our money and eats our money and why could they can't save the life) even tough in 5th day of admission (dr. sundar rajan brain specialist told she has good improvement and we could shift her to stoke unit within 1or 2 days) these padma prakash a most begger fellow dont know to clear after all a cold and has ego problems to consult with other doctor's within thier hospital campass he killed my mom... doctor's in apollo are just brokers. how can we earn to the hospital through patient sickness especially to apollo hospital. and dr. sunder rajan nuro surgen is the wonder full jalra and govinda person which I ever seen in my life. and doing wonder full jalra job to dr. padma prakash (icu incharge) for this every apollo doctor's in apollo can do some other job why to wear shoe and tucked in shirts and tie to do broker job and jalra job and play with each life?

My father in-law is admitted in apollo hospital greams road chennai on 12th july 2015 and we have stated that we are going for cashless claim as we have corporate mediclaim insurance and we have provided the necessary document along with the medical card. we have humiliated by corporate insurance desk instead of who need to help us the entire process and some how we have manage and given the necessary docs to proceed the cash claim.

Though it is cash claim we have paid 40, 000 upfront and we are much surprised when the hospital administration pressurizing us to pay another rs. 80, 000 for the treatment/discharged to settled the bill and also they insisting that we can claim this as cash back.

Pls help me to know status as the hospital administration pressuring us to pay the cash for further treatment. we have given the claim intimation on 12th july 2015 and our claim registered on monday as cashless claim but today we got the written confirmation from hospital administration stating that this is cash back claim. we are much worried about the service of the corporate insurance employee of apollo hospital greams road chennai.

My mother 74 years, a paralyzed person was brought to apollo bsr hospital, bhilai, chhattisgarh for checkups on 23 march 2012 at around 3 pm as she was feeling cold with sweat. I tried to book her appointment over phone (as she was to travel from rajnandgaon to bhilai, about 35 kms with escort by my sister) from united kingdom but I have been told that there is no such facility of booking appointment in the hospital. later on the same day, she was shown to dr rajesh p, consultant neurology of this hospital. consultant has advised her to go for several tests including ct scan and asked her to be admitted in the hospital and provided estimate of rs 20000. as this amount was reasonably high and to give feedback of her past treatment at delhi, I tried to speak to this consultant over phone who behaved very rude and adamant and not spoken about her clinical manifestation which is immoral and unethical for this noble profession and then she was bound to be taken away.

The similar incidence has happened in past in august 2010 in same hospital with another consultant dr dilip ratnani when my mother was admitted for cardio vascular problems and I tried to speak to the consultant with willing to take parallel opinion overseas i. e, in united kingdom prior to her cardio vascular surgery which was strongly recommended by this doctor (with triple vessel disease which was later identified as double vessel disease by reputed hospital in delhi). he took it personal and questioning to his knowledge and experience and not cooperated which is unethical for this noble profession.

These instances reflect serious behavioral and approachability concerns with this hospital. on the other side hospital has vision and mission statement which mentions “human touch” and “we touch lives” etc which is completely missing and surprised to see the flash at hospital website being awarded best quality award "ace 25 parameter" (apollo clinical excellence) with bsr healthcare group figures in health care magazine as best entrepreneur dr. m. k. khanduja.

Necessary action is solicited.

All these complaints against apollo is true. compare to my problem these all are nothing. they killed my father. my father admitted this hospital with minor injuries (he met an accident. why I told minor injuries?, before joining to apollo he got the reports from gh (govt. hospital) said that he is normal. he not at all having any major problem and his vital organs are perfectly alright. but after joining apollo they told again we have to go for scan, x-ray. after that, they told everything is now normal he may get any problem in the future, so we have to keep him in ccu in observation. we trusted them. 3 rd day they told in the mid night (always they used to tell everything in the mid night. psychologically this will work) my dad is having breathing problem. we believed that. they put his mouth ventilator. then only he can be in ccu. he cant talk. if he talks we feel he is alright. they are charging 50 to 80, 000 rupees per day. they wanted to earn money... so keep the patients in ccu. after that my dad didn't come out. he was healthy man. he used to go for walking for 7 to 8 km a day and yoga. he had lot of diet control. he was not having any problem. but apollo people killed him. prostitutes are better than this doctors. they spoiling them self and earning money. these people making money and killing them also. still we are not able to come out. my mother slowly dieing. not eating not sleeping. my relatives, friends used to say they are ideal couples... every second I am thinking my dad... not sleeping not able to eat... every second crying

Dear sir

Attention: dms/chairman

Please find the enclosed file.

I have not received any reply from your side as of the day I submitted.

My son mr. v. s. lakshmi narayanan was taking treatment with dr. rajasekar. p, orthopedics in t. nagar hospital till 15th april 2010. he said to me that my son must undergo for one more surgical procedure, which is not possible for me financially and the mistake was on the surgery done by the doctor in apollo hospital.

I am extremely depressed and my only son is now incapable of walking after the surgery done in 2008 in your hospital. I had him checked again this past week by another well reputed doctor and further tests have disclosed a valgus deformity on his right leg. the doctor also confirmed that his foot which also shows signs of deformity cannot be fixed in anyway due to the fusion following the triple arthrodesis that was done at your hospital. both of the aforesaid deformities were not present prior to his surgery in 2008. furthermore the scannogram (ct scan) of his leg shows evidence of 4cms of shortening when compared to his other leg (left). the shortening was supposed to have been corrected by the ilizarov procedure that was done by dr. madhan mohan reddy at apollo hospital in 2008. my son now requires supracondylar corrective osteotomy surgery to correct his problem.

Through the current tests and the inconsistent medical records that were provided by your hospital,
I am now convinced that my son’s current problems are the result of gross negligence and incompetence on the part of doctor madhan mohan reddy and/or his team.

My son had spent more than seven months away from work and a further surgery now would put him off work for another 3-6 months. I and my son have also spent all that we can financially over the past three years trying to get some semblance of normalcy back into his everyday routine. I hold apollo hospital responsible for my son’s debacle and I demand that I get a solution the same.

I hope to get the reply on this, at least.

Thanks & regards
Vss

I have horrible experience with the doctors in apollo hospital. I think they forgot their profession as they are now becoming businessman. keep patient unnecessary and wasting their precious money which they could spend for their treatment. we all know how expensive the cancer treatment, I will never ever suggest anyone for admission in apollo. they willc all you mom/dad/aunt on very first day and treat like family, once you admit, then get their real picture. I don't know why they are doing this. if you trust god, humanity please act accordingly.
Thanks

I completely agree with you all.
Apollo gleneagles kolkata has a mix of both spheres. I have met many doctors in different european and south east countries, and would like to add few words for one of them.
After getting operated by dr mahesh kumar goenka yesterday, I was really pleased and would like to endorse that he is one of the best resources of apollo and we all should be lucky to have him in india.
Please feel free to mail me for any suggestions.

Hi,

I was browsing for complaint procedure so thought of sharing my experience with apollo childrens hopitals nurses. if you are not in emergency ward then be prepared to tolerate the young, non competent nurses. I dont understand how the hospital risks new born babies and kids with young unprofessional and non experienced nurses, probably trainees. last night one nurse took out the iv line without closing the valve properly until we shouted that the 2 month old baby is losing blood thru the iv line.

Not expecting a lot from the complaint filing but lets hope for the best. if only nurses would have taken the job for the sake of nursing..

God bless
Take care

Hi,

This is arupratan bagchi having registration number 124019 with apollo gleneagles hospital, kolkata. recently, in july, 2008, I have found some ulcer in my skin in my left and right butte and taken advice from one of your senior dermatology in apollo gleneagles hospital, kolkata named dr. s. c verma. he told me that the disease is very much critical and it requires some blood tests along with biopsy from the wound. he has taken out the flesh from the wound himself and sent that for biopsy to histopathology department of kolkata. during the period before getting the biopsy report, he started me with some antibiotics ciplox-500. after getting the report he told me that the name of the disease was pyoderma gangreosum and requires high dose steroids and antibiotics along with a immunosuppressive. he has given me imorun 50 od and medrol 16mg (first 10 days bd, next 10 days 1 ½ pd and next 10 days 1 tab). but that did not fetch any solution and I have to re consult the condition with another dr. who is the head of the department, dermatology, medical college in kolkata and just seeing the condition superficially he told me that the previous diagnosis was completely wrong and the fellow who has given the afore mentioned medicine should not be termed as a doctor. then he suggested to go for biopsy once more from the best institute in kolkata which truly revealed the same thing that the disease was not pyoderma gangreosum and it is something different although it was a simple skin prior to giving steroid but the unnecessary use steroid has made condition more critical. now, I am having severe condition of my wound, always bleeding or having discharge.

Therefore, I want to ask you one question that the wrong treatment has made my life disastrous and doctors are suggesting me for the consultation of oncologist, operation etc. but who is going to take the responsibility of for the criticality of my life.

I am a regular patient of dr. mahesh goenka, dr. pradeep setthy and dr. jaydeep bhadra roy for chronic pancreatitis. they know me and love me a lot and also I am the relative of state government minister, government of west bengal.

Now you decide, what I should do with the doctor mr. verma. should I lodge a complain with the consumer forum, should I register a case against the doctor as well as the establishment who has given permissions to this type of fellows to practice, should I lodge a case against the doctor as well as the establishment under ipc 302, 304, 306, 420?

I will be waiting for your response and I want you to answer my questions at arup_kon@rediffmail.com. I am a senior consultant in capgemini india and I have already informed this happening to my company who are having corporate relationship with you. therefore io request you all that do not go to dr. s. c. verma as he is not a doctor, he is a complete business man and a butcher. even when being very disturbed I was sitting infront of me, he was talking with her wife anf telling her to give their children kiss on her behalf and also asked her to tell them that they would be taken to peter cat restaurant, costliest in kolkata. when I a patient being bvery much disturbed seeking help from the doctor, he was giving attention to her wife's telephone and just making fun with them. is it the healthy professional ethich which apollo always follow. I have dr. m goenk, dr. pradeep setthy, dr j. b roy who are not doctors they are angels. so I need compensation. I need yor support too to fight against. please mail me in the aove mentioned mail id if you support me to fight these type of doctor.

Thanks and regards

Corporate hospitals have actually spoiled the sacred age old nobel profession... medicine... corporates appoint doctors who fall for big money. brilliant doctor has to strive a lot to get the patients confidence but a dull headed but smart business minded doctor does it by joining a corporate hospital. your story should be a lesson to the public that doctors in medical colleges are far better than those in corporate hospital... but people prefer airconditioned suites built with granite than a temple built of knowledge and compassion
