AmeriGas Propane review: Charges to pick up their empty tank

When we bought our home we were told the gas tank was property owned. Turns out it belonged to Amerigas. Not ever dealing with a gas company we agreed to have them come fill the tank. With Amerigas costing so much more per gallon I didn't always have heat so I switched companies. The tank is empty sitting in my front yard and they want to charge me $420.00 to come pick up a tank that I couldn't afford gas in the first place with. The Resolution Department is a joke. They don't want to help the consumer.
