Alamo Rent A Car review: Pushing me to to rent from a shady car rent

Name Ugur Avcikurt . I walked to Alamo office . Employee told me that he can not rent me because I lack an International drivers licence. Then he said next door unknown car rental company would rent me with just my US Drivers licence that they don’t follow the rules. I checked and found an International driving permit site and paid on line and received electronic copy. He said he needs a physical drivers licence and said he is canceling my reservation rudely. I walk to National Car rental booth and they acceptedy online licence and rented me a car within minutes ( of course at a much higher rate)
My whole trip was planned on driving to a new cities and to already paid hotel reservations . The next door car rental company was a very unknown company and I found out they have very low satisfaction ratings and charge their customers imaginary damages after they return the car without damage.
