A communication tower was erected on 2004 on the land behind our house which was given on lease to Airtel.The land originally is on my mother's name.
My mother's name is Maya lahiri.
Address : Vivekananda Avenue. Village : Malancha.
P.O : Malancha- Mahinagar. Pin Code : 700145. West Bengal.
This property comes under Rajpur Municipality.
Since last one and half years or more, my mother is being harassed as she was not given an approved copy of the plan for the tower by Airtel without which she cannot prove that the tower is legal and so cannot give the taxes .
As my mother is too old to run from pillar to post, I had communicated this matter to Airtel office at Kolkata and initially was promised to receive the copy of the same but nothing has happened until now. In the mean time I was sent a scanned copy of receipt but the people at the municipality are firm about the copy of the approved plan.
Can you help in this matter and let my mom have a copy of the sanctioned plan which can be produced to the municipality and pay our taxes which are due for last few years for this problem.

I have got a new corporate postpaid connection from airtel on 9-March-2008
and at that time I have provided all types of documents asked by executive
on 15th of march an airtel executive have came to my residence address for
verification of my address he doesn't asked fro any documents from my side
and just get my signature on his records and gone on 21-March-2008 my
outgoing calls are barred without giving me any reason previously when I
have contacted the Customer care they just said this is due to problem in
verification process I don't have any clue why and what wrong is happening
for me and she told me she has requested for a revisit at my address by
22-March-2008 but nobody has came as yet after one day my all connection
and services were discontinues even my SIM got Invalid. from that date Till
now I have continuously talking with customer care people? on 26-March-2008
I have got an email to submit the HR Letter at airtel relationship center I
have submitted that. at ARC Code ARC173 but I have not got my connection
I got problem with sending national sms. each time I send, it comes as "check network services". I tried by using another handset. I complaint many times to the customer service centre where I got only assurance but not the rectification for the problem. I am very much dissapointed with airtel service. Airtel, please contact me at [protected] if u can?
Since a month-my voice mail service hasnt been working. While I do get sms from Airtel asking me to dial 56733 or some such series, each time I call..it says invalid!
11th mar-I complained -and was promptly given a ref number with an assurance it wd be resolved the same day. Following 5 days everyday some new person kept calling and asking me what my problem was..and that they wd resolve it immediately
And since the last 7 days..while I am fed up of complaining, I get a new series of sms" we hope u are satisfied with the resolution provided for your request'
From yesterday the calls to Germany from India thro Airtel Mobile and landline have been indefenitely cut and unable to have any contacts to our people in Germany .If contacted with Airtel authorities nobody is replying positively and reply that everything is fine. Is it the way that airtel is handling its customers?Mere shame on airtel services.It affects our poor view with the customers
For over 5 days I have been unable to send SMS messages. Can receive but when I try to send the boax says error. I have telephoned 121 for the past three days at least 20 times. Whenever I get a customer care executive, either I am cut off in the middle of the call or am told that someone will get back to me. In one case I did get a call from someone speaking Hindi--I had opened for English-- but when I followed instructions there was no improvement. SMS's to 121 do get sent and I have sms'd at least 10 times to be told each time that my complaint will be serviced in 24 hours. Its is now more than 72 hours. Airtel is not bothered and there is no other way to complain.
My name is RAJ and a very new customer to Aritel. I was approached by airtel executive (i can provide the number if required) offering me a Airtel Corporate connection as I was pretty not satisfied with Vodafone and agreed to take this connection where a fancy number . Now I have been given a totally different number. A really nightmare for me. And will not go for Aritel once again in my lifetime. Thank you for a awesome error service.

23rd March ko Mere mobile se Mere number se 30 rupya deduct hogaya aur mujhe koi sms bhi nahi aaya.. phir maine customer care mei pata kiya ab kya kahu... waha toh kisi ka system hi sahi nahi yeh airtel wale second hand system use karte hai...
but mera phone laga aur ek executive ne mujhe 48 hours ka timing diya... woh toh abhi toh process me hi hai

Mere mobile me se phir 30 rupya gayab hoga.. customer care mei phone kiya toh woh log bole ke abhi system upgrade nahi huwa hai aap morning mei call karo.
Ab aap log hi batao mai kya karu.. mujhe 2 hafte mei kam se kam 80 rupaye ka Nuksaan huwa hai.. Agar yeh log pyar se maangte toh mai 8000 dedeta but cheating karke agar koi mujhe 1 rupya bhi lute toh mujhe hazam nahi hota hai..
Agar mujhe mera paisa wapas miljayega toh mujhe bahot khushi hogi.
Respected sir, I am ponnayan, my airtel sim card is missing for this month (14/02/2008), now I bought...
My sim card is of pune, maharasthra circle and it got blocked due to wrong entrance of pin code. So now it requires puk code to open it as I am in punjab circle, I am not getting any assistance from this circle's care centre as well as from pune's care centre even after declaration of airtel as an iconic brand. So this is a matter of concern. Feed me back with definite solution as soon as possible.
I am an NRI based in U.K. and am on a holiday to India . I purchased a pre paid SIM card of Airtel(No:[protected]) on 06.02.08 from Radical Communication,Shop No.88/1,Main Road ,Adhchini,New Delhi-110017.I gave copy of my passport and VISA as identity proof and local address as Aurobindo Ashram,N.Delhi,where I was staying at that time.In short,I submitted all the details as I was asked.
I was told that there will be a verification call from Airtel WITHIN 48 hOURS.i DID NOT RECEIVE ANY CALLS WHATSOEVER ,and 4 days later the phone was disconncected.
Since I was touring various parts of India ,I needed this conncetivity to be on 24/7 .just in case my employers or colleagues need my assistance in any matter /eventuality while I am away from work.
And I lost significantly because of this poor and irresponsible service of Airtel or its dealer or both.
Airtel being an international operator knows better and works differently in European countries where consumer laws are implemented stringently and the defaulter is always worse off.
When I contacted the dealer,I was told I will have to re-submit the form as the address on my passport and the local address of lodge given by me differed-poor excuse as I only did what I was guided to do.Anyway,I was told someone in the dealers office has gone to the system and the no.will be activated in 4 hours.Waited overnight and I called back next day-was told to wait for another 4 hours-nothing happened.
When I called back again,I was told again to submit a fresh form in Connaught Place and someone named Mr Amit Sethi in M5 will EASE THINGS OVER for me.
I was flabbergasted-what a kindness and generosity.
I refused,because I was totally frustrated and sapped.
I instead gave me present address and was promised someone will collect the form from me.
I am still waiting after 28 hours.
Is there a swift respite for the consumers in the fast growing 2 nd largest market of the world ,called Incredible India.

I have sim card of Airtel with cell no [protected],and my sim card number is [protected]. From about 2 months ther is problem of disconnect calls,voice problem,cross connections to my cell.
My mobile number is [protected]. Using your services more than last one year. But since 13th of Dec 08 i am not getting network into my office. My contact number is very important to me into my business. I had complaint about this more than 7 to 8 times to customer care number. Every time your people commited me that they will solve the network problem. But till time nothing is done from their end.
i have got following message on 29/12/2007 at 9:04 am from 121-
"Dear customer, thank you for contacting Airtel. Your service request reference number is [protected] & we will come back to you by Friday 04 Jan,10:00Hrs."
But no boby turned up. i had spoken to customer helpline regarding the same also. But as usual they had made sweet promises to me & nothing is done.
Now i am fed up with all such complaints & decided to approach consumer court. On what basis you are charging me bill without network coverage?Every day Between 8:30am to 7:30pm (sometimes more than 12 Hrs) i am not getting your network. I had lost my business because of this. More than 3 hrs in a day goes into travelling . that time I cannot use your services. What do you expect from me? that i should use my sleeping hours for using your services. Now stop fooling me. Because i had taken strict step against you. I had asked for services in the major city part of mumbai-marine lines , which is covered by all mobile service providers like Vadafone, BPL, Reliance, dolphin .etc. While taking connection you people promised me lots of things about services. I cannot pay your bill online also. I had applied for that few months back. Still not received any correspondance from your end.
Now this the end of my patience. You are forcing me to take serious action against you & i ll do it at any cost. The copy of the same complaint i am sending to cosumer court. You are responsible & liable for whatever the losses i had bear in my business because of bad services from your end.

This mail is regarding postpaid number [protected] which is subscribed under karnataka circle.
I was working with hp bangalore till october. i have since then shifted to pune and am working with fujitsu now. before i shifted to pune, i went to the koramangala airtel outlet to surrender this number. the executive there informed me that i can convert this number to a prepaid number free of charge and then do a life time recharge so that in case i come back to bangalore, i can use the number. i instructed the executive to convert this number to a pre-paid number. the executive then said that she has requested and updated the system regarding the same and that the number would be converted to a pre-paid number in 24 hours. since then airtel continued to deduct ecs from my account and i was shocked to see that airtel deducted an ecs of 2409.71 from my account on 4/02/2008. since then i had to call bangalore customer care dept n number of times, which costed me according to std rates.
A manager looked into this account and admited that it was airtel's fault and told me that all the money would be refunded to my account. he gave me a reference number [protected] for the same. it has been more then 15 days, and the money has still not been refunded to me.
I also dropped an email to the bangalore nodal officer last week. There has been no response from his side as well. I tried all possible means and have spent more then a thousand rupees on std calls to the customer care dept, still i have no response from there side.
