Yes when we purchased seats on 10/12/25 for 193.60. We expected to get those seats. But when we received our seats on 12/10 we were given different seats not what we purchased. I went to customer service in zurich and in montreal and they told me there was nothing they could do since the flight was booked full. What they should have done was given me my seats I paid for. Since I paid for them in advance. I really believe I should be refunded what I paid for since I was given a different seats. Why pay for something in advance when you are going to change it anyway. This is not good for air canada.
Recommendation: be careful when you purchase seats in advance you may not get them
