I am writing regarding our recent stay at Accra Beach Hotel & Spa in Barbados from January 16 to January 24, 2026, reservation under the name John Page and Julie Lambert.
Upon arrival we were informed of an issue with the hotel’s chiller system, which was affecting both air conditioning and hot water. During our stay:
• Our room had no hot water throughout the stay and one full day with no water at all, and issues with the air conditioning.
• We had booked and paid an additional fee for an ocean view room, yet the view was entirely obstructed by two large palm trees, and we received no view.
• At check-in the hotel stated that discounts would be provided and that our refund would be processed through the third party (Air Canada).
Could you please provide:
1. Confirmation that the refund has been processed, including the date it will be issued.
2. The amount refunded and which payment method/card it was returned to.
3. If not yet processed, when we can expect this refund to be completed.
Our stay was significantly impacted by the lack of basic services and the inability to enjoy the paid ocean view, and we appreciate your prompt attention to resolving this.
