I booked a return flight from Vancouver to Auckland from Auckland I called the only phone number available over a three day period the app would not work for me there is no live chat. I was on hold 3 hours 18 minutes next day 3 hours 11 minutes next day 2 hours 19 and at the same time I I tried an internet call and waited over 2 hours and later that day 4 hours and 37 minutes I even called a number I found a number which said I could contact air Canada and it was air New Zealand to try and help me conact them he was so kind and tried to help me. He waited for 45 minutes and said he had to help his customers he was apologetic and sorry for the horrible service When after the last attempt waiting 4 hours and 37 minutes I got someone saying we are experiencing high volume after I said 17 Hours ! ZERO sympathy that I spent my holiday time trying to get through How is this possible why are you flying to New Zealand if you can’t help your customers .yes I was furious and he hung then up on me . Your customers time are valuable 18 hours wasted trying to contact someone to help me. It is atrocious and disgusting. I don’t know why people fly on your airline and you should not be flying to New Zealand if you cannot have a call centre available for customers when they are there.
Recommendation: Do not fly with air Canada
