It's so sad that platforms like Agoda are still trying to profit from the pandemic. I had to change the dates of my flight because of a positive PCR test and even tho the hotel was willing to do so, they were unable because my money was handled by Agoda. So not only Agoda doesn't have any Covid related compensations but also are stopping hotels from practising their policies. That's inhumane and reprehensible!

I booked a room @ Ailiga travel Villa for jan.16 2022 thru Agoda on jan 5,2022 & cancelled it the next day, Agoda charged my card,and i emailed them about my refund,they asked a lot like booking transactions date,amount,card logo,etc & i provided them everything they asked but i did not received any reply anymore & just like that their emails are all gone,the f#ck Agoda?

Booking address differ of the hotel - thistle room
Dear All,
This is to request your kind help to resolve an issue I experienced last 16 (Booking ID: [protected]).
Furthermore, I booked a hotel called "Thistle Room" whose address was shown as 27 High Street, Dundee City Center, Dundee. But when I reached there, I could not find this place. And finally, I realized that though they have mentioned this address, the property is actually located somewhere else, which is more than 36 miles away from Dundee, which is totally misleading. So I came with my infant and husband to this cold climate and had to spend a few hours on the road to find another accommodation. So I was fully desperate due to the situation. Then I asked the property to refund the cash, but they denied it.
Finally, I am asking your kind help to refund this cash at your earliest convenience. So I have strong confidence that you will resolve this and do not want me to seek someone else's support.

Charged higher than booking confirmation
I have booked a hotel classic room through Agoda with already an increased price I have received confirmation with a price in local currency and later on my card was debited with a higher amount. I have complained to the hotel at my arrival but they told me Agoda is responsible for this act. This is not really right and this is my 1st and will be for sure the last time I will use Agoda or even recommend it because I paid higher price than a friend who booked same room range with a cheaper price and because of fact that confirmed price was increased when debiting the cost of 2 nights.
Desired outcome: I need quick resolution to align to the correct promotion rate and also send a credit of the difference
A charge on my card that I didn't make from agoda.
On February 17 2022 I use a go to to book my room 4 February 17th 2022 until February 18th 2022 then I booked a 7 Day broom on my card from February 18th until February 25th 2022 event cancelled the 7-Day booking and was charged the cancellation fee then I booked from February 18th 2022 until February 21st 2022 both bookings were paid and all was good until 11:31 p.m. and a charge of $315 and some change appeared on my card when I called in to inquire why my card was charged no one there could tell me what that $315 what's 4 they stated they did not see it in their system a charge for that amount I was told they seem the charge for the $55 for the cancellation the charge for $56 for the one day and the charge for $174 for the 3-day why now I have to wait twenty-four to Forty-Eight Hours for someone to contact me about my money being taken from my card by Agoda? I need someone to call me right now because that money was there to feed my family while we are here on vacation now we have no money and we're in a strange place I can't even get home because Agoda has fraudulently charged my card for $315
Desired outcome: I would like my money to be released right now because there was no reason for this company to remove that money from my card and I should not have to wait for it to be back on my card.

I booked four rooms on Agoda from the Oakland parks hotel in Enugu, Nigeria.
paid for them, received confirmation.
upon arriving at the hotel, they could not find any booking and told me they did not work with Agoda. We nevertheless checked in the rooms, and I would look into the issue.
I reached out to Agora and told them the hotel wanted me to pay. They said they spoke to the front desk who said all was in order and there was no issue with the pre-payment.
It turns out a Lagos based company, called Luminous Travels, had setup a page for the Oakland Park hotel on the Agoda platform, with they own number and email.
the manager of the Oakland Parks hotel confirmed he has never dealt nor contacted nor done business with Luminous Travels.
The problem is that every time I contact Agora to tell them I had to pay cash for the rooms, they keep referring me to the fact that they spoke to the hotel.. when actually they have not! they spoke to a scammer.

Hotel reservation
I reserved and paid for hotel through Agoda . And after traveling and while check in the hotel inform me that the reservation for different nationality , so I have to pay extra charges or ask Agoda to send modification for reservation.
I send to them and get late reply that they will investigate so I pay the extra charges and still communicating with Agoda for more than 5 days with no luck to send the correct nationality to can refund the extra amount.

There is a misrepresentation in the said resort when arrived in the place. Allow me to enumerate:
1. The place is not developed or underdeveloped.
2. The there is no room available to us the resort staff gave room a make shift room where there was no cover it was open no safety if rain is coming and it was a primitive accommodation not worthy for the price we paid.
3. The toilet was common and will take you 10 minutes to reach and going there miserable as many dead leaves barely no lights and the stinky smell inside.
4. There is a misrepresentation in the advertisement. The resort did not tell the customers that their "resort" is underdeveloped and primitive.
5. This BIRDLAND BEACH CLUB used the platform of Agoda to deceive the public using "customer" that their services and facilities are good.
Desired outcome: Please refund the payment i made and return it to the originating bank.
Unethical charges and services with wrong properties showcased.
It was disgusting and unethical for agoda to be connected with booking. Com and then further pass on the booking to Eko stay who are extremely unethical and rude to their customers. These websites showcased such good pictures and when we reached the property it was not even the property we booked. It was some other property they sent us to and then charged heavily and no help received from customer care of booking. Com or agoda or eko stay. We asked to refund our amount and Ms Riya from eko stay was abusive in her tone and said she wnt refund or doesn't care Please don't book from any of these apps. They ruined our 1st valentine as a married couple.
Parking is not Available in the hotal
As we reached near Hotel by our car, I contacted Hotel number but there was no parking. We had to wait for 3 hours and still waiting.. Please refund my money asap else I will Sue you guys for this forgery. Date - 13-02-22 at 17.5 ist

Mayur stay
Have booked a resort named "mayur stay" from agoda.com website. And after the resort has been booked we were contacted from the resort and sen other details and pictures of the resort in whatsapp. After that they told as to pay half amount and send a qr code which is rs.18000 as advance for confirming the booking as it were new year time bookings are high they said. And we paid 18000 and told rest to pay on check in. And before 2 days for checkin they told the rooms has been cancelled due to covid issues and said they will send the money back. But after that they deactivated the number and we went to the given location. But was no resort named mayur stay in that area. We were tottaly scammed by them

I have contacted AGODA numerous times abut arranging either a refund or a credit for this flight. The outbound flight to Rarotonga was cancelled due to Jet Star removing their service, so the Air New Zealand flight I had to book myself has already been credited to my Air New Zealand account.
The booking credit outstanding is for a flight that should have happened over a month ago, and I have been chasing this credit for nearly 3 months now. This is completely unacceptable customer service. I do not want yet another generic response about how long credits take to process.
I expect urgent action on this complaint. I have attached 2 screenshots as evidence of how long I have been chasing this.

Cheat review and bad system
Disappointed and bad experience booking home thru agoda home. They review I wrote they hide it. All the review they show fault review if get bad review they will not hide it that why the review ranking is very high . But for my experience is totally negetive. Agoda system also very bad because they will not give me any further check in Information and contact person even booking had confirm and payment had charges. Try to email and contact them also no respond very unprofessional.
