On May 4, 2020, we purchased a whole set of bedroom furniture for the total amount of almost $2, 000 including tax and delivery fee. When we were at the store, the salesperson verified in the computers that the items that we need were in stock and will be delivered on May 9, 2020. The salesperson's name is Adam Buscanyi. He told us that they're going to give us a courtesy call on that Saturday around 10:00am. We received a call from them a little over 10am. He told us that the items we ordered will not be delivered the same day because they're not available. We were so frustrated because we waited this weekend for our order plus weekend works best for us since we don't have to work. I told him my husband is not gonna be happy so I handed the phone to him. My husband was asking why and what happened. This salesperson started raising his voice while he was on speaker and I literally told him that he's not supposed to yell at us because we're just customers trying to find an answer plus we already paid the whole amount. He kept cussing to my husband and said, these exact words "[censored] you", what hell, motherfucker". So my husband got mad and of course had to yell back at him. That salesperson obviously hung up the phone without explaining what really happened . My husband tried calling the store back and the manager named Brandon answered the phone. My husband was telling him how rude his employee was but he seemed to be depending his side and told us that his salesperson was on speaker and he didn't cuss at my husband. That's a total lie. Then this manager started raising his voice and kept asking what nationality are we. This is totally a discrimination. We told him our ethnic background has nothing to do with our complaints. All we want was to ask to why can't we get our orders though they confirmed that they're going to deliver them on May 9th. They never apologized on the phone instead the manager kept raising his voice.
So, we came to the store a little before 4pm and brought our receipt. We asked him to give our refund back thru a receipt and email. We tried asking the manager what went wrong with our order but he started raising his voice again so my husband got mad raised his voice too. He then returned the receipt to me and said, "I'm not going to give your refund." I was trying to ask him to get our money back and he refused to do so. He said that we need to call corporate office to get our refund instead. He wanted us to stop talking and we told him we have the right to talk. He stated, "customers aren't always right and continued yelling at us. He also stated that if we don't leave he's gonna call a cop whom we talked to outside the store premises.
To sum up this really bad store experience, these employees' attitudes were definitely discriminatory, unacceptable and unprofessional.They were so rude to customers like us. We were truly devastated by this horrible experience. We will never shop and do business with this store ever again.
We are looking forward to get our full refund as we spent almost $2, 000.00
