Aaron's unprofessional and bullying by the employees

My mom has several items that she is leasing. In January 2017 she suffered a heart attack and had to have a triple bypass open heart and and also suffers from liver cancer. She went to the nursing home for several months. I went to the store and paid her payments in February and then during the month I called the store to report that her home had been robbed and several things were taken. I went In March and paid a payment on items that were not taken. My mom is unable to drive and depends on others at this time to get around. I called the local sheriff dept to come out and file a report on her home being broken into. As of yet they have not. We have kept AArons updated. My mom went in June 2017 and made two payments on her items and the manager Beverly Johnson did not apply her payment to her item she paid on even tho it has her acct number for those particular items she applied to the items as well that were stolen. My mom went to store on July 3rd 2017 to make another payment and was with two other women who took her and Ms Johnson literally threw her money back at her and refuses to take it and would not let make a payment and was very verbally abusive with my mom and she left the store in tears. On July 12 Ms Johnson sent two of her employees to my moms home to collect items. Because she was behind on payments well that was not my moms fault. One of the men was bullying and pushing his way in her home and was trying to push past a minor child who he kept touching and I was on the phone telling the child not to let him enter until I could get there or my mom could get out of the bed. Due to her health condition she is in poor health and has been bedridden for past week. I was on face time and watching this situation. My mom came to the door and he was pushing and screaming at her and the child he stuck his foot inside my moms home and kept saying he was coming in. She asked him to wait on the porch while she call the store and explained she could not breathe the hot air. He then screamed at her that he did not care if she dropped dead right there. Now at this time my child was face timing with another person who was witnessing this entire incident. Finally the police showed up and My mom refused to allow the man to take her items explaining she had tried to pay for them and the woman Beverly would not take her money. This incident has caused my mom to become even more ill and possibly had a stroke because of this mans behavior. The police came back last night to just check on her later because they were concerned about her. This behavior by the manager Beverly Johnson and the men who arrived at her home is unacceptable and unprofessional. I will be contacting the count attorney to file charges for forced entry and endangering the welfare of an elder person and minor. Please I need help with this situation since the local store manager will not be of any assistance and I have tried to reach the regional manager to no avail to explain this situation.

Aaron's damaged appliance and poor service

6/3/2017 Aaron's employees delivered a refrigerator which was damaged when they brought it into the apartment. The employee admitted he did it and said that someone would try to fix the scratch or we might get a discount.
An appointment was made for that Friday, but they were a no show. A call to Aaron's resulted in being told that they would have to talk to Angie. Any of the calls to the store we were told " somebody will call you back " . We never heard from anyone.

Aaron's customer service and contract

So I was givien a quote on a King size bed and bed frame and I put the money down that day when I went back a few days later to sign the contract it was different than what they quoted me and agreed on So I immediately went back to the store the same day to fix it and they told me don't worry we will fix it and still honor the price well they never fixed it was very very unprofessional when I went in the store and then when I spoke with the manager he said well if you pay in full before your 90 days then I will drop other charges and if not it will stay the same I wanted something in writing because the original monthly payments was different than what they are charging me I will never shop arrons again especially not the one in Fontana Ca. I will let my family and friends know not to come to Aarons . Staff sucks and are very rude they have an attitude when you ask for help. They need to hire a whole new staff. After this purchase Im not coming here anymore very disappointed.

Aaron's derrick from your forestville md store.

hello my name is Denise Smith i'am complaining about Derick and all the employees in your forestville md location i have been a customer of aarons for a while i have been faithful in paying my bill granted i haven't always payed on time. however i've been getting harassed by your team there when i know its people that have taken you all products and you never hear from them again i just called derrick and asked him how much more do i owe on my tv that i have and he said 2 more payments and then he asked me did i make a payment i told him yes today and ask him did he need my reference number to comfirm and he said no but then proceeded to ask me when will i be making my next payment and i told him when its time he said its the 15th. now mind you today is the 25th and i have many more days until the 15th i'am super tired of the harassment i'm considering a lawsuit if things do not change there. however i will not be a customer of aarons anymore if i have to be treated like i stole something. my number is [protected] again my name is Denise Smith and this has been going on for a long time every sense i got the tv. its not just him im always getting calls throughout the day even when my bill isn't due yet. i got calls before its due. im sure you do not allow this with your company and don't know who you have working for you but please be sure to check into it because i'm sure its other customers that's dealing with this from them. thank you Denise

Aaron's staff knowledge, payment problem, product problem.

I would like to start by saying I was a very dedicated Aarons customer. My home is over half furnished from Aarons. Since [protected] I have finished payments and received ownership for 2 laptops, washer & dryer, TV, tv stand, bluray player, stereo, living room set which included couch, love seat, rug, end tables, and two lamps, my kitchen table and chairs, my bedroom set with dresser, nightstand, chest, bed frame, head board, foot board, mattress, box spring, bed protector.
My previous experiences were mostly good, at least nothing to big of a deal that I stressed about it enough to make a complaint. This experience with my laptop however has been a nightmare.
The day I went into the Aarons store I brought my void check, from past experiences I knew they would need that. The day I left the store with the laptop I was paid up for two months which if I am correct would have been Dec 2016/Jan 2017 payments. Things were smooth until my next payment, which by giving them the void check meant that it would be coming out of my account on the 20th of Febuary. For one reason or another on there end the check wasn't put in right or some error on their end. They called and asked for payment, I asked why they hadn't taken it out like they were suppose to they weren't sure. So I had to drive in to Moncton which is a huge inconvenience because i'm from out of town and have 3 children to accommodate as well, that is why i set up the pre-authorized debit. And I have always used this same bank account and method for all my previous agreements with Aarons, and never had any issues. They assured me by leaving another void check it would surely go through the following month for my March payment. Also just a couple days before they had called for the payment the speakers stopped working on the laptop. The Aarons employee I was speaking to asked me if I would just want a replacement instead of a loaner i assumed he asked because I had only had the laptop for the 2 months so I said yes to the replacement laptop. When i got to the store they said they were giving me a loaner and I signed for a loaner. I have not heard back from them since for this issue.
The next month (March) rolls around, I get another call from someone at Aarons asking why I never made my payment. Which I was a little annoyed they hadn't made a note to make sure the issue was not me before they called. I Always pay my bills on time and I felt like I was being frowned upon for not going in to make my payment on time, if they had a note on file they would have known I had the same problem the month before. This time I told the employee I just didn't have a way to make it into town for a few days. He then suggested email transfer and helped me figure that out since I had never done one before and he knew I was a little stressed out about what was going on. I told him it was starting to be a hassle getting calls every month. He was very helpful, he called me back once he seen the email transfer had been accepted so I could stop worrying about it. So he said if i could do it this way every month it may be easier for me so I agreed. I then asked about the pre authorized debit to make sure that would not be used again because i couldn't afford for 2 payments to come out for any reason he assured me that no that wouldn't happen they would see I did an email transfer and they wouldn't do the pre authorized debit.
So April rolls around and everything that month went smooth. I did my email transfer it went through fine and I had no calls. In the meantime I had totally forgot about my "loaner". Which I still have never received any information on that. So to me it was like they were so quick to accuse me of not making a payment and calling non stop till they get a hold of me. But when I am the one waiting for something they don't seem concerned.
Now we are to the May payment. I did my email transfer which they accepted. Then this morning I wake up to a -150 in my account. All of a sudden they have decided to use my pre authorized debit as well. Now that they have put my account into the minus I'm also gonna receive a 45$ NSF charge. I'm so disappointed right now and a little angry. I do good to get by every month as a single mother of 3 and this has been a terrible experience. I don't know what can be done for me but I really hope that someone will see that I have always been a great customer but someone can only take so much. And i feel like i'm being taken advantage of. I think that someone else should be responsible for the charges that occurred. This agreement has cost me more than than the cost of the laptop with the numerous issues I've been having. Can someone please help?

Aaron's washer and dryer

Bank mailed my monthly check they claim they never got which it's a month in advance but they called me stating they want pd now it was pd I called bank got confirmation number and check number they wanted bank to call them bank doesn't do that very nasty I will never shop the, again never and I bought a lot from them never again I have been called and even sent a truck out posting on my door I do reply to there call but they don't want to hear it very nasty management in this store the store manager told me he was holding one check till the other two arrive he demands the bank calls there I got a letter from bank in good faith I have set up another payment to go out the 18 th he says I'm not late why are you calling me and putting notes on my door terrible management and mouthy sad but they need people with respect and manners

Aaron's service

I got a dryer a couch and a table with a lamp from Aaron's on Elmira St. In Sayre Pa. I was told by a guy name Brent and a lady named Brooke that my boyfriend Ted could not pay for the payment so he went over and talked to another guy named mike and he told my boyfriend Ted that he is allowed to pay for it all. On top of all that Mike told me my payment is due on the first of the month which that's what I been doing they have been calling me and telling me I have a payment due. So I couldn't take the stress anymore of it because I have epilepsy and I can not take the stress. So I told them to come get everything. To make a long story short there is to may chiefs and not enough Indians meaning to many people are trying to be in charge.

Aaron's customer service

I have had been a customer for 18 months and I have made a complaint before, as I was having some financial issues waiting for EI, and the Employee had made contact with my sister, which she then told her I was behind and how much, This was back at the beginning of the year, and they rewrote my agreement, and I have been making my payment, since then.
I went to go get a bed for my nephew who lives with me and they said that they have to get approval from head office as there have been to many complaints, so called today April 18th/2017 and they said that there was an issue with my account, and that I could not get the bed. Asking about the issue they said that because of my account going into collections that I could not get the bed, I have paid off the 3 beds and I have 2 payments left on my TV. but 2 months ago they were trying to get me to finance something else,
So my husband said that he would just do a application in his name they still basically said NO. I highly highly recommend looking at your bad bad management here in Duncan BC Canada, and their Staff.
You lost a Customer! and I will be going else where to do my business, and I would not likely recommend you guys as your store here is no good. The
customer service here is just terrible.

Aaron's aaron's pick up broke the front door of my house

I live at 114 Cardinal St in Springfield MA. My ex-girlfriend told these guys over here that I had the merchandise that I don't have. They came here last week Wednesday looking for the merchandise. They were banging at the door and broke the outside door of my house. I spoke to the general manager and refused to help me he started swearing at me on the phone talking about how I should return his merchandise which I already told him I don't have nothing to do with. No one else has been through that door since they came here. Obviously someone was trying to break into my house while I wasn't here.

Aaron's auto pay

I was told to leave my debit card number in order to avoid late fees in the month of March 2017. Today I was charged an auto pay that I never authorized. When asked about it NO ONE knew who enrolled me into this service. I experienced the customer service of a fool who does not recall from day to day. Matthew and Amanda both said that I did authorize this payment date when my due has been the 5th of each month from the moment that I applied. This is not my only issue, I have had horrible customer service from HUNTER ALSO.

Aaron's mattress bag cover

i have brought chairs, king size bedroom suit, lg television. all are paid in full.my complaint concerns the king size mattress zip up bag. when i leased to buy a beautyrest king size pillowtop mattress i requested the store keep the plastic on the box spring they did then the salesman suggested i purchase the zip up bag and put it over the plastic covered mattress and two box springs after keeping the mattress a couple of months i noticed bugs on the inside of mattress. now it is infested with bed bugs. so the salesman was wrong bug can get in.i stopped making payments the store will not come and pick up the mattress set so in essecne i am stuck. i was mislead by the salesman. i agreed to purchase the mattress and thought it would be protected well it was not i do not want the mattress set and am no longer sleeping on it.

Aaron's item on credit report

There's a item on my report I have no idea what it is. I didn't do it. I am 100% sure it was done by a family member. They did not have my permission to use my name. I have found more items they have done. My name is Vickie Crawford #[protected] thanks This was done on 9/13 not one payment was made . Why she know she would get caught. There has to be some way y'all can find out what she got and where it is. So this can come off my report. Thanks.

Aaron's customer service was unprofessional

My husband spoke with a man named David at the Aarons located at 1306 N John Young Pkwy, Kissimmee, FL 34741. He claimed he was the nights supervisor but he has absolutely no customer service experience. My husband and i have been experiencing issues with Aarons since we purchased with them. We pay on time. And they constantly change and raise prices on us without our knowledge. So we returned the furniture set we purchased and they have no communication within their store cause they call us on a constant basis asking the same questions. So the one time we raise the issue with the night supervisor David at this location he yelled at my husband became combative and even said he felt sorry for my son to have a father like him. That was so personal and unprofessional and unacceptable and no action has been taken to reprimand this man. And i think its unfair. The customer is always right. Even when theyre wrong theyre right and thats no way to talk to a customer. Needless to say we dropped all their services. Worst experience ever. Horrible man that works there. And i hope he answers to someone.

Aaron's tv

hello, i have spoken to the store manager who does not keep me informed or updated i had to contact her a number of times, i have also spoken to the regional manager Jay i believe his name is and only spoken to him once and only once. my TV was taken in a while back cause the power button was not working and i was told i would have to pay for it and nothing could be done about it being broken. i have called and placed a complaint and received a call from a different regional manager and he informed me that the TV should be covered cause aarons has insurance for broken power buttons. he then checked and realized that was not his store so i called again and placed complaint and thats when jay called me. the last time i called the store manager she indicated that the TV was not taken into arrons and that she had on file that the TV was broken due to a punch, which i found ludicrous and outrageous due to the fact i brought the TV in.

if someone can please contact me that would be awesome, due to the fact that the TV is covered and i had to keep paying for it and paid it off has me upset, that is a lot of money paid to something that was covered and hearing this managers indication about the TV not being brought in is troubling.

Aaron's customer service

My name is Lahaisha Walters. I am a customer of aarons for now i rented originally a washer and dryer. There was no place to plug in my dryer so they took it back i paid 36. Something for both washer ever two weeks so when i got home and there was no dryer i asked how r we going to deal with this it wouldve been 72 something for they month put in original agreement we had option to pay every two weeks or monthly wen i talked tp ur sales associate he said wouldve been credited to my account never told me i was 4 short of monthly payment or i wouldve paid it so im thinking its paid for a month. So this past weekend they called and was saying my payment is due i thought it was a monthly payment they said due to the payment wasnt in full it put it to paying every two weeks. I said i would pay it on friday the 10th i was told i would have to pay 62.00 i said how when its not even end of month and i only purchased it on 1/13. They were very rude overtalking me while im talking i became irrated tood them to come pick up ur stuff cause im not paying 62. Dollars i will pay the 44.00 on the tenth of this month because i do use it on a regular and dont think its fair that they didnt say anything about the owing of 4.00 and be a month . the store is Forest Ave. Store in Dover Delaware please contact me the results and what can be done. Aaron's sofa set / poor services

Hi my name is keisha pysadee I have a complaint about aarons services located in mississauga on. They have delievered me an sectional sofa which is woodhaven jasper 2 piece set. The 2 guys that delivered the sofa reccomended that I took off the staples underneath the sofa incase I need to lift the sofa that I dont poke myself. Just to be safe I have asked my pastor mr. Don garrison to help me flip the sofa over to do so. As we turn over the sofa there was a hole at the bottom. Ive called the store to notify them and I felt like I was being aaccused by rob who works at the store located in mississauga for commiting that hole under the sectional sofa.. I was scheduled today for the sofa to be fixed at 2pm today. No on showed up. I called the store and the women told me all the deliever people was out and busy. When I told her I was schedule for today january 19 for 2pm. She told me no one was coming. That I have to arrange another date. Which I think was very upsetting my 8 month daughter had an appointment today and I had to re schedule because they were suppose to come to fix the sofa. It would have been respectful if an employee called me to let me know someone couldnt make it. They wasted my day and time. And I am very dissapointed in these services. If this is the services I will be getting. I will return the item. My family has ordered from aarons located in 1921 eglinton ave w, toronto, on and gets the best service and respect from shamba & the employees. I would apperciate if someone on your customer service team can give me a shout.

Aaron's zach - general mgr.in council bluffs, iowa

I called Aarons over in Council Bluffs IA a few weeks ago looking for a washer and dryer. I spoke with Zach, the general manager who took all of my personal information including my social security number. By the time I finished, it felt as if I was putting in for a mortgage rather than just looking to rent appliances. After he was done, he told me he needed at least 4-6 references to be sure that if I missed a payment there would be people to remind me. I gave him the names and numbers of my brother, two people he works with, the owner, president, supervisor and receptionist in the company I work for. Then on top of that he wanted three family and friends numbers as well. Not having a family and the few friends I have are on Facebook, I told them that the best way to get a hold of me would be through work since the last thing I wanted was to have my job remind me to pay my bills. This went on for a week then I was told that I would get the machines delivered on Saturday 1/7/17 between the hours of 10am 5pm. I took another day off work to wait for the delivery that never arrived. I called the store and spoke with John, the Manager that was there. He said that there was not only no delivery request for the machines but Zach had not even put my information into the machine. So what he’s doing with this info is still a mystery. Do NOT trust this store or these people. They’re not worth it. You may find that your personal info has been stolen and used.

Order online store got it did ref and job store called said its in then would not lets us have it the manager was very rude I wanted to get it for my kids Christmas justed don't make no sense to me then it took two days for them to say I can't have make every excuse in the world I let some stuff go back in 2008 because we got flooded that was eight yes ago have a heart and understand

Aaron's rent to own, bed, not picked up when requested

Mike King requested a bed picked up two weeks ago. Could no longer pay for and was not needed. Someone from Aaron's supposedly showed up. Claimed they saw a bug, claimed they called their supervisor and could not take the bed. Leaving NO paper work. We can't pay for it. All the beds were encased the plastic coverings to keep bugs away. So there was no bug. Aarons didn't want to take the bed back and I suspect the same is true of the other 2 beds I have. NOW... they are calling multiple times a day, came to the house today, wouldn't speak to Mrs. King. Demanded to know where Mike King was and when he was coming back, demanding money. Doesn't the Fair Debt Collection act come into play? And they would not take their items back. by the was the payment is only 10 days past due. We can not pay for the one and they won't take it back. Aaron's bug proofed the beds, the rental is sprayed for bugs. There was no bug. They won't only their money. We can't pay for the bed, hence we asked before the payment due date to take it back. Repeated calling and now showing up at my house, violate everything. If they aren't going to take the bed, and I can't pay for it what can be done?

Aaron's management lied to me and cursed me in front of employees

A couple months ago I came in to Aarons to get a replacement remote for my tv. It took the store a month to get the replacement remote and when I got home the remote was broken so I called and talked to the manager who stated he would replace the remote control for free and that it would be in in a couple of days. two weeks later the remote comes in and it took me two weeks to come in and pick it up and when I came in I told the employees I was here to pick up a free remote and they tried to bill me for it. the manager came out and immediately got defensive and in my face and it was in front of employees and it was embarrassing. He was shouting and confrontational I was scared and I turned around and walked out of the store. I have been a loyal customer always paid on time and have done thousands of dollars in business with you but not anymore. The manager lied to me misrepresented himself and I will NEVER do business with Aarons again from now on all my business goes to RENT A CENTER
