On multiple occasions, Yahoo nazis have censored my comments. I have found that my comments are not being published. It isn't right and goes against the vary fabric of the United States to deny a certain group their right to free thought and free speech.
Liberal Yahoo doesn't want any critical thinking unless it's Trump criticism. They only want blind brainwashed Liberal zombies propaganda spread across Yahoo.

All of my comments have been rejected for almost 2 years. I am a Republican and I also support police and have made comments in the past (none of which were against the terms of service), but I can't even make a comment like "Tom Brady was a great quarterback" without it being rejected. I could actually post, "I love this article", and it would get rejected. I truly believe there is an algorithm that blocks Conservative voices PERMANENTLY!
I totally agree. Today I tried to post information relevant to the Maine mass shooter regarding an article containing a 2006 F.O.I.A. document in an article by wired dot com titled "The Bio-Effects of Selected Non-Lethal Weapons." The article describes weapons that can be used to mimic schizophrenia. Yahoo immediately censored it. WHY would they not allow me to post a legitimate F.O.I.A. article about such relevant weapons unless they are in cahoots with the government/want to aid in nefarious covert government activities that could be used for political agenda's.

My ability to view or comment is dismantled without explanation or warning. What disturbs me even more is that yahoo has actually edited my comments and literally changed what I wrote. They change what I write to meet their "approving agenda". This is highly dangerous as they are changing essentially our public opinions from our genuine & true capacity. This means they could be writing anything in our identity and are. I voiced this in my latest comments along with comments I don't support Israel and I'm Jewish, and I can no longer access comments at all. Yahoo sucks and is bias beyond comprehension. So they are destroying themselves by alienating so many of the populous. The elites will only fund something if it's worth anyone's while. With fewer logging in, it won't be long before they are obsolete. Definitely a huge stark contrast in freedom of expression from years past. "They" re-worded my comments, one of them was done in a very sexy & silly way that I found embarrassing and stuck out like a sore thumb that I didn't write that and would never say that! I think they are using our comments for their own agenda and keeping what they want and discarding the rest, editing some to balance things out. No wonder you don't see the traffic of people on the server anymore. To see my comments had been altered deeply disturbs me and I don't know if they think we actually won't ever see our comments we'd written ever again, or they just don't care. What is alarming is that they could turn my comments into hate comments and that wasn't true. That's what's worrying about the fact that I've caught them and have evidence they are altering my comments. I've taken screen shots of before /after, someone definitely changed around what I articulated and changed my words. Even banning people is dangerous not to mention stupid. You can learn anything you block everyone out whom you deem unworthy of your mold and banish everyone like a scared baby! An just who makes those determinations that someone should have their rights violated? Silenced? What yahoo has turned into and stooped to is suicide on their part. They were once one of the best sites on the web. Now they are corrupt to the core and criminal.

Simply saying the truth and using statistical facts can get your comments deleted if it isn't praising the Left. The writers can use very abusive words toward Right wingers, they can even use random cuss words...but you as a commenter, cannot cuss and you cannot use abusive words toward the Left, even if ever so slightly abusive. I am a liberal middle with no party affiliation. I'm also a researcher and perform research before formulating replies. My comments are booted repeatedly. They do not go against the rules at all. No foul language, no links - the rules state that competitive links are not allowed and apparently that includes all .gov links including whitehouse.gov and congress.gov (?). I've been rejected for scientific terms in the science section, foreign words, Native American words, info quotes from government websites, and on and on, including a fun anecdote from my childhood under an article about my hometown. Absolutely not one thing in the story that wasn't all Mayberry-like, yet it was found to be offensive and was even rejected after review. So get off your political high horse and recognize the situation for what it is - a giant boondoggle.

Anytime I call out left leaning articles my comment is always rejected. When I reply to far right comments, I can say pretty much whatever and it gets posted. As an independent I just want the ability to take shots at both sides when they’re showing their stupidity.

Idiot comment is still up, but lmao got me prevented from commenting on the article anymore. If another leftist publication allowed commenting I’d just switch to them. I was reading an article that was supposed to be FUN about movies that were funny. I tried three times to reply to someone about the movie "CLUE". My comments were civil and innocuous. I was censored three times and then completely blocked from participating in the comments on that article. This is what came up: "Unfortunately, you are unable to take part in this conversation right now as your comments have been blocked too many times".

Yeah, all my comments are now rejected. They won't allow any conservative comments. But they do give free reign to all liberal and the far left to say what ever they want. Including hate, lies and bad language. Hoping someone with deep pockets will take them to court and get them fined and make them stop their anti American policies.
Then how come the "conservatives" can write the most awful, degrading things, including allusions to rape of liberal women in the news they don't like, thinly-veiled threats of violence, specific bad language that gets put back up after a report review, name-calling that is totally out of bounds, and more, without being booted. Not only is Yahoo censoring comments, they are no longer letting me manage my publishers anymore. I cannot left swipe to get rid of the publishers that I don’t want popping up on my news page. This just started happening about four or five days ago. And now I get all kinds of news articles from publishers that I absolutely have no interest in and wouldn’t read them if you paid me. Yahoo is trying to force people to read articles from publishers Yahoo likes. Yahoo is just an authoritarian piece of garbage anymore. I’ll get my news somewhere else I’m done with them.
Nonsense. I'm a Liberal and at least half of my comments are censored even when I've said absolutely nothing controversial. Criticism of Harry and Meghan must be carefully worded and even then it's a toss-up as to whether the comment will be approved. Example, an article about the identity of a lost dog, in which the owners of the lost dog claimed that a dog found years later was their dog, and a group of ladies who found the dog saying it was a different dog - I compared the photo of the dog as a pup with it's owners and a photo of the 'found' dog and noticed the dark markings on the muzzle of the otherwise white dog were much different. I commented that the configuration of the dark spots on the muzzle was noticeably different in the two photos and that I thought the two photos were of two different dogs. One sentence, nothing controversial, and I received an email saying my comment was rejected. So let's keep 'liberal' and 'conservative' out of this, because Yahoo censors don't seem to follow any political pattern at all.
This has been my experience as well. Before the shut down, it never happened. Now, it’s about 10% comments that are rejected. They don’t follow their own policies e.g. a commentator wrote in all caps (for the entire post). I did the same thing in responding, but MY comment was rejected! This happens at least once per week.

I'll receive mail from yahoo after commenting stating my comment is approved and published and then minutes later another comment stating my same comment has been rejected.
Also, I'll receive mail from yahoo stating that my comment is approved and published after a week which is useless because commenting ended after a couple of days.
Article-wise Yahoo authors slant everything worse than Fox.
Comments are reviewed by over-sensitive judges working subjectively dependent on mood AND political bias to censor and void comments as bad or worse than Twitter.
Or the site lag they put on people. An 800mb connection but their comments and only their comments load at the speed of 1mb especially when you are replying
I did an experiment on yahoo comments. I spent a week commenting with 3 accounts. 1 commented only left wing comments the 1 only right wing and the 3rd was neutral.
All the left wing posted no problem even ones thay were clearly racist towards whites.
Most if the right wing posts were rejected or worse posted many hours later
Half the neutral posts were rejected(because they seemed right leaning)
Recently I've tried to reply to personal attacks on comments and in the middle of typing the comment page glitches and freezes.(I've tried on multiple devices and browsers and operating systems)
Obviously there is a left wing bias on yahoo's comments sections. I get censored and delayed daily if I reply or comment more than twice, the nature or character of that comment means nothing, it is summarily either censored or delayed. The commentary from those who toe this business's line however, get near carte blanche treatment. A "neat little trick" yahoo uses is waiting to "approve" a comment until an article has "gone stale", thereby creating a false aggregate of what a majority of readers really think. Yahoo denies this of course, because it is engineering a false narrative for their chosen side of the great socio-political divide, not only in the articles they choose to front, but in this clearly biased censoring practice, and that wouldn't be kool, now would it.. Yahoo has unfairly censored my comments, any comment I make is automatically rejected. Comments such as "wow", "That's funny", "No kidding, "Oh really?", and "Gee". I can go on. Anything I post in the comments gets rejected. Especially racial topics, if I comment on a racist post, I get rejected but the racist post remain.
I have tried to contact yahoo about this issue with no success. My next step is to talk o a lawyer to see if there's anything I can do. These are some of the rejections:

while those do look innocent some nefarious [not saying you are] people who do violate the rules do use those words [alone like you did] to attack others. so they may have seen your posts as against posting rules. though im supprised yahoo still exists, after the history they had back about 10 or 12 years ago.
When my comments started to be rejected every time I posted, I tested the system with "Hello" as a comment and it was rejected. After that EVERYTHING I posted was rejected. I do not waste my time anymore, but it is nice to have a place to vent about their unjust censorship.

Yahoo is a private entity and they are within their rights to censor comments. I'm a liberal and they censor me all the time. I hate it but I'm knowledgeable enough to know 1A doesn't apply to the private sector. So it's not just the right, though they complain a lot louder.

Yahoo published a comment by Kari Lake that included "B.S.". When I copied and pasted the same comment from the Yahoo news into a comment, they held my two sentence comment for 22 hours then published it which is well after most stopped reading. They've done this numerous times. I try to be respectful yet real in offering opinions but I now believe that the Yahoo individuals that do the screening use their very own subjective thought and opinions to steer my comments to their own beliefs. Talk about hypocrisy. If they see this comment in fact, I'm sure they will find a way to punish me. It's too bad, I like the Yahoo news quite a bit.
The same happen to me similar article. Comment section was just pure hate for Kari Lake. I pointed out some flaws and how clearly bias the article and the they never commented the comment.

It's not true they only censor right wing people. I am left and get censored all the time. For what, I often have no idea. Sometimes it's only because I was critical of their writing staff, correcting their misuse of words. Today I did put a pun on the Hurricane Ian story hitting Florida and got censored. My comment was:

No swearing, name calling etc. Just because your MAGA views get turned down doesn't mean they lean to the left, you my want to check them for truth and facts. Saying that I think comments should just be put out there left or right. I often wonder who exactly sits and reads my comment and gives the thumbs up or thumbs down. I'm liberal and my comments are scrutinized and/or rejected constantly, even though I never use any abusive or threatening language. Conservatives have gotten away with calling me MF and other obscenities and even telling me they can find out where I live, You have no way of knowing how many liberals are having their comments rejected. Conservatives get away with plenty.
your 100% right i try to make truthful comments about the left, and it will not show up, but yet if i type Obama is king ..it will show up all the time .then again what do you expect from Treasonous Yahoo .they turned in people in China so they could get a foothold in that country .
I am left and many of my political comments get censored. They are not vulgar or violent. So don't think it's only right wing they censor. They have their own agenda and I imagine it maybe whoever is on "censorship duty" at the moment does whatever they feel like doing.
It's your political commentary they don't agree with and the reason they've cut you off. Like you, I'm currently comment-less on Yahoo although I've never used profanity, threatened anyone, cussed out anyone, or tried subverting the government. However, I can be sarcastic although it's never directed at anyone in particular or meant to offend. I'm actually glad since I waste too much time on Yahoo anyway.
They censor anything that goes against the left. Meanwhile they have troll farms that spam any article where too many people go against it. They are Nazis and will face a reckoning later this year.
