Wolf River electric was careless on my property. They left gates for horses and dogs open and the animals got out. They did this even after I specifically asked them not to do it and to come get me from the house when they need to enter the barn and horse area. They did not come get me and they left a door open to the feed room where the horses could have gotten into the feed and colicked. Colic is the most common reason horses die.
I had to go over the contract with them verbally because I am blind. Now they are saying that the tree trimming is not included, even though I clearly remember hearing that it was included. They even sent over their own contractor to work on the tree removal, but now they are saying that I have to pay for the tree removal. I am very disappointed.
They dug a trench on the path to my horse arena. I found out about it, by falling in. I had several conversations with the workers about safety given my status as person that is legally blind. My horse also stepped in it. Both of us could have been hurt. So I let them know they needed to fix that. Five days have passed and they have yet to come out and get it done. They lied when they said they would do it right away.
They were in my garage and damaged the door. They would not admit that they did that, so I had to have my handyman repair that as well as the electric outlet that stopped working right after they were here and working in my laundry room where the breaker box was. The workers refused to take responsibility for the damage and the management refused to hold the workers accountable.
The timing of project completion has been very slow and there is no accountability for that as well.
This is not acceptable.
