Costco mold in food

I purchased big bag of Sun West rice little over a month ago from Cypress, CA store. After half way throught the rice I found a big ball of black fungus bigger than a fist inside. Rest of the rice were clean so I thought it was a mouse at first. I was really upset because my 4 kids, 10-2 years old, and I were eating this for over a month. Couple of my younger kids and I were having diarrhea frequently over a month with bad allergies. I could not figure out why until I took the sample to a labatory and found out had abundant amount of 7 different types of hazardous black fungus. My lawyer friends were telling me to get a doctors note and get a mold lawyer but I really hate lawyers because of previous bad experiences. I was so upset I wanted to post on line and make a big deal about it but I admit Costco has one of the best quality product. Can you see what you could do for settlement for our pain and suffering so I don't have to deal with legal headache which I don't want right now?

Costco Iphone 6S plus purchase

HI,

I Purchase an IPhone 6S plus on August 26th under a promotional offer for Tmobile customers. The promotional offer was as follows:
Trade in Iphone 5 for 300$ credit when you buy iphone 6(any variant).

I havent recieved the credit either from Tmobile or Costco. No one is taking responsibility for the same.
Costco execs at Paradise Valley Mall Phoenix did submit some exception in their system a month ago but i get no response on multiple followups.
Phone was purchased for # [protected].

I want the 300$ credit or my traded iphone 5 back.

Costco citibank card

The Citi card is outrageous. I have been charged over $115 in late fees and interest fees and I barely ever use the card. When bill arrives we have 2 weeks for them to receive the payment or they add huge fees. I despise this card and will never use again. Last month I spent $20 on gas and they charged me $24.95 late charge as payment one minute late.

This is a terrible card!
My LL Bean Visa Crd through Barclaycard has annual percentage rate of 10.24%. Citi Anywhere Visa is 29.49%

Please ditch this awful credit card. Getting a few dollars back is not worth their outrageous charges!

Costco pirelli tires

I am a customer of Costco, I have an Executive Membership, I was looking for all season tires in February 2016, The sales rep was very helpful and thorough, the choices came down to 3 Tires Brands, the sales associate suggested the Pirelli's which was one step down from the Michelines. I paid for them waited 2 weeks, had them installed and was quite happy.
Fast forward, l have my tires regularly rotated, tire pressure checked all at Costco.
Sooo Imagine my surprise !, when l went in for my routine rotation, and when l arrive to pick it up after leaving it for 2 hours, l was told, there's no point, since you have to change your tires right away.
My immediate response was, how is that possible? I was told that your tires are smooth (Bald) it was even pointed out to me... I replied l just bought tires this year...after checking it was confirmed and l had just barely reached 30, 000.00 KL. The associate was more shocked that l was, immediately said, there has to be a problem with the Pirelli's, we will definitely have to order you brand new ones at NO Charge, because clearly there is a problem. The Service Assoc said that l would be given the Costco Agreement full refund, because clearly the tires were defective.

An order was was placed, I came in made an appointment and brought the car in as scheduled.
2.5 hours later, I arrived to pick up my car with my new tires and was given the run around at the desk, the the service Manager came and told me l had a bill for $ 470.00 cdn for my new tires, i was shocked, when l protested, he said they were prorated and that this was the procedure, after paying relunctantly, since l had to go to work, I read the paperwork only to then realize that l no longer had pirelli's on my car but instead a lower quality and priced Bridgestone tire, I was furious, , i was then told that Pirelli's are no good for my car, so l asked why were they recommended and sold to me in the first place? I am sooooo Mad.

Further more if my tires were being replaced with any other tire than what was previously on the car, l should have been informed and given the option, especially since l was expected to pay for them .
Resolution,
I want a full refund...of the money l paid, and i want either my pirelli's put back on my car or Michelins, I don't want Bridgestone tires at all.

Costco i am complaint about the service

I went to Costco Store at 28595 Hesperian Blvd, Hayward, CA 94545 12th Dec 2016 at 19:13pm for my last minute Christmas shopping, the lady at the exit had my receipt in hand and before checking anything in my shopping cart, she asked to open my backpack that placed in the cart and asked my to open it to check my bag. I was shocked and embarrassed as everyone around looked at me. I talked to the manager on duty afterward as I could understand why I was the only one in line that need to check my backpack? There are other customers that carrying handbag, shopping bag or baby stroller and the lady never inspect their bags or stroller but mine. She explained she was trying to do her job but obvious she treat every customer differently. I feel insulted and the manager on duty was not apologetic and as I spoke with the manager, the lady was not checking anyone else's bag. This is not the customer service a store should provide, if you have a check bag policy, the company should treat everyone equally.

Costco your supposed "free" premiums for taking costco surveys

I am a senior with not a lot of computer knowledge and I took your survey and registered for the "Free" premiums as a result. I feel that they are come ons because they are not free (they just deducted in excess of $141. from my account for the "Free" product. Let me say that my experience with Costco and your surveys is not good, I feel that Costco is involved in taking advantage of people with these offers. The company said that they printed in a bottom corner that you had to cancel within 14 days and I just barely got the order a few days before the 14 days was up, besides if it was supposed to be "free", I shouldn't have had to pay for it anyway (that doesn't give you much time to try the product even if you knew or understood the 14 day cancellation). I took the survey on November 27th and actually took two different the surveys. with different premiums and both deducted their money yesterday between the two of them they took about $241 and put me into overdraft at the bank. I feel that you are misrepresenting surveys to your customers and indicating that the premiums are "free" for taking the survey, when they are not! I feel totally used by Costco. Costco complaints an cashier

Here is my story: I selected my stuff and waited for a long line to pay, and I hold my husband Costco card. When it came to me, she said my card is not valid, but I remembered that we had renewed card this year. So I said we should have card, could you please give me some time to contact my husband and leave our stuff aside let other people to pay first? She said NO! She said you should renew your card, and we do not hold any stuff. She also said that the card is not mine, I should not use it. I explained to her, that is my husband card, our family only have one card. She is very rude and said she will let people to put our stuff into their original place. I called my husband to membership center to check out what is going on. The staff there is very nice and helpful. They said my husband card changed under his business name, so they helped him to get the information updated. After this, he came to the cashier and want to pay the stuff. So we find our cart, and asked cashier can we pay? The cashier said no, we should get into line again! We feel so bad, and asked a supervisor, she said the cashier can check out for our stuff. Finally, the Cashier checked out our stuff. I am not sure she is racist due to we are Asian or what! Why she have such a bad attitude toward us. I really unsatisfied with her attitude. I think she should be nice to everyone.

Costco gloria vanderbilt amanda jeans chemical odor

I purchased a pair of Gloria Vanderbilt Amanda jeans in a size 12 short. It smelled of a chemical odor, so I washed it. Still smelled so I returned it and purchased another pair.
In the store I thought I'd wash this pair, too, that it didn't seem so bad. But the smell is so strong it gives me a headache. I will not wash it. I plan to return it.
If you could send me a pair without the offensive odor, I would appreciate it. Please send it to the Ann Arbor, MI store and I will purchase at courtesy desk.

Costco difficulty in opening milk cartons.

The gallon cans of low fat milk have a cap which can only be opened with a large wrench or specially designed opening tool. We have noticed a cycling of difficulty in the past months. Perhaps a year ago these covers were as impossible to open as they are now in November and December from our Costco in Kalamazoo MI. There was a period which the caps were appropriately tight in the summer months, but the ridiculously tight cans have returned in the past few weeks. Our milk has a sell by DEC14Plant #39-13 10:10 FLR2. It is absolutely crazy how difficult these caps are tightly twisted on.

Costco Scam rebates

On September 1st, 2016 I stop by the Verizon wireless booth located inside of the COSTCO warehouse, physical location: 4849 NE 138th Ave Portland, OR [protected]. The sales agent told that if I will sign up with the Verizon and will purchase a cell phone today, than I will receive a reimbursement in the amount of $225.00 within 14 weeks from the purchase. I did like the deal and purchased two Apple iPone SE 64GB devices. The sales agent also provided a link to claim my refunds. I came home and entered all required information into the provided website to claim for the $225.00 x 2 COSTCO cash card. On next day I received a conformation. No customer support telephone number was provided. I was continuously checking for the updates on the refunds until December 6th, 2016 and send a couple of e-mails with no respond from the wireless Advocates. On December 6th, 2016 I have decided to stop by the COSCO to check on the status of my rebate. The lady that helped me was not able to find my purchase for about 40 min. Then, she told me that I was supposed to make pictures of my Verizon contract and e-mail for the rebate. I went home and e-mailed my Verizon purchase agreement. This morning I got an e-mail from the Wireless Advocates that I have to wait another 14 weeks to get a rebate process. I contacted Brian Levenhagen, the Kiosk Manager, but he left home without answering to my request. I called back and the sales agent (lady) when heart my complaint for an additional weighting time just hang up on me and refused to pick up the phone again when I called back. I think that COSTCO's vendors are forcing people to by their telephone services and equipment by lying about the telephone reimbursements.

Costco meat department managers indifference

I visited the Shoreline Costco today and say the Strip steaks were on sale. The Meat manager (I sold so many steaks, this is the number one store in steal a sales and I had to bring other butchers to keep up.) responded to my comment "that the steaks were too thick":
1) Did not even acknowledge my comment,
2) Refuted my concern by stating,
A) "thick steaks are better"
B) "We cannot cut thinner because we have a price point to hit"
C) " We are the number 1 store in steak sales"
3) I responded that customers want thinner steaks, and I was told I am a "Member" not a "Customer".

Please look at the attached pictures and let me know if this how you manage the Meat Section in the Shoreline Warehouse.

Costco watermelon and potatoes

Purchased a watermelon and bag of potatoes at Lantana Costco #180 on December 2. The watermelon sat on our kitchen counter over night and the next day the counter was flooded with a could fluid and foam which came out of the melon. Disgusting and possibly dangerous so we immediately disposed of the melon. Then a couple days later the bag of potatoes starting leaking huge amounts of a foul fluid. It seems produce in our Costco store is contaminated and dangerous!

Costco service

I was in the Merced Costco tonight December 6, 2016 we were helped at the register by a woman named Raquel she was wearing a pink mossy sweater she was impatient and rude. My family and I frequently shop at Costco and normally our visits are not unpleasant. I forgot the guys name who helped us with our items in the basket I want to say it started with a J he was very friendly and helpful. The food court employees were also friendly and helpful.

Costco ameriprise insurance

Just because they're affiliated with Costco, which I consider to be a reputable company, doesn't mean they hold up to the standards I would expect of their partnership with Costco. In short, they're just another insurance company doing everything wrong, especially customer service and using bait and switch tactics. I have now received three different quotes, rates and stories. I have tried repeatedly to get in touch with the same representative more than once to no avail, even though I have their direct extension..they WILL NOT answer or return your call. I finally received my one of the quotes paperwork in the mail, listing all 4 of our vehicles, only to find out their "underwriters" now will not insure a 1 ton van (personal/passenger van). To top it off, I mail back the signed quote after having checked off every box of the enclosed "to do" list only to be told afterwards they also need copies of our car titles too. They originally gave me a great quote, because we have no tickets, claims, etc. but when it came time to actually write the policy, back-pedaling, we also need this, our underwriters now say this. Again, it's just another dishonest BS insurance Co. looking after their bottom line. Google Ameriprise, they have a 1.9 star rating out of a possible 5 and for good reason. I'm very surprise Costco would affiliate with a Co with such a poorrating. In short, beware.

Costco costco.com pickup shipment issue

I ordered a CyberpowerPC GVi2200CST Desktop. UPS tried to deliver it to my apartment at 2pm. I was not available so they left a note. I went to their website and tried to select an option to pick it up at a UPS location and noticed that it was grayed out. I called UPS to see if there was any way I can pick it up at a UPS store location. UPS told me to contact the shipper. I contacted Costco only to be told that the option for pickup is not available. I work during the times UPS will be delivering the package to my apartment. No one else will be available to pick it up. Because of this I have to return this desktop. This is a HUGE inconvenience! Some alternatives will be to allow me to pickup at a UPS store or have it available to pickup at a nearby warehouse.

Costco phone kiosk

We tried to upgrade two cell phones on our AT&T plan through the Costco phone Kiosk. We had to come back 2 times and both times the people at the kiosk messed up our AT&T account so bad that I had to finally call AT&T to get things all straightened out. I am going to tell everyone I know NOT to go to the kiosk at Costco to get things done. We stood there for over 2.5 hours both times to get things corrected and things got messed up worse.

Costco auto

Went to tire center to get my tires rotated and have tpms serviced
Was told it was 15 per tire plus 45 for each new tpm.
Ithey checked the pressure and with an instrument found three tpm batteries were week
I said i would replace all 4
They quoted 1.5 hrs it was 6 pm
I shopped and then waited and 1.5 hrs later i asked what was happeningthey said it would be 15 more minutes i asked if they had the parts i need they said yes so i waited

30 minutes passed and they said another 30

I asked for a managee
He said they were busy so thats whats happens

I said i had to leave they would be closing soon anyway
The nexted day i could go
I returned the next day anf at 1 pm they were full for the day
Good better than waiting and nothing happening

So Sunday morning i got there before 10 and still had to wait 45 minutes to give them my car

Again i asked if they could rotate my tires and put in all four sensors
They said it would be 2-3 hours

i said fine but you have the parts they said yes
i called my wife and did work at home
at 2 pm i got a call they said they were done and i could pick it up

I asked if they put all four sensors in
They said no they didnt have any

The mt prospect store had 60 so i should go there

A waste of 3 days and my warninglights are still on
I talked to the manager

They wre not helpful
Thanks for listening
I still am a strong costco supporter but very disappointed

Costco customer service

I went to the Wenatchee store today. I am not a current customer because I only shop there at the most 2-3 times per year but had been considering getting a membership. My mother is a card member and I was going to use her card as she also bought items today. After she was done I was asked for my card. I said I didn't have one yet and was going to use hers for today. Very rudely the checker informed me that I could not do that. I told her that I had done this before when I visit my daughter and sister. They do it without any hesitation or arguments. She daud "just because others break the rules doesn't mean I do." Then when I said so, you are the only Costco that upholds that rule? The person boxing rolled his eyes and shook his head. Then she called someone else, we went through the whole issue again. He still refused. So after he just walked away she said I can buy a membership then she can sell it to me. I said why would I spend 55.00 on a membership when I am being treated like this and I only come maybe 1-3 times a year? She just looked at me and said she couldn't do it. I gave my mom the cash and she then bought it. Granted, I am only 1 person and don't shop there as much as others. I am not wealthy, every dollar counts. When I do spend I do so because of product and how people are treated. This has made me aware of why I had not bought a membership. Costco is normally friendly and customer oriented. Costco customer service

To whom it may concern,

My past few visits to my local Livonia, MI Costco have been quite disappointing. I've been a Costco member now for approximately four years. Each year I've always received a reminder that it was time to renew my membership with allowing me some time to do so. About three weeks ago when I was checking out I was told I needed to renew my executive membership right then. Needless to say I was caught off guard because I didn't know it was time to do so. I said to the cashier that I wasn't planning on doing that today and I would have to do it next time. She immediately said "well I need to get a manager then." Which she did. The manager then came over and stated repeatedly that I needed to renew, I expressed that I understood, but that I hadn't received my notice of it being time yet so I would do it next time. She continued to reiterate to me that it needed to be done, to the point I felt like I had to say "I heard you the first and second time."

Today is the first time I've been back to Costco since that last visit. I did my shopping with a friend of mine who also has a membership. Once it was my turn and all of my items were on the belt, I told my cashier, Mason, that I needed to renew my membership. I was starting to explain to Mason that I just wanted to do the basic membership and not the executive. Mason barely let me finish my sentence when he told me I needed to go to a different counter to do that.(Which also still doesn't make sense because back in August they changed my general membership over to an executive one at the checkout counter.) So I asked my friend if I could just use her card to complete my membership before I went over to the other counter because it's Sunday, lines were long, all my groceries were already out. Mason immediately interrupted us rudely again and stated "I'm not allowed to do that."

I understand without a doubt that there is probably a policy that they aren't supposed to allow that, but I have seen this done repeatedly between families at this Costco. He was not friendly, annoyed with us, unwilling to help at all, unapologetic that it was so inconvenient and overall just didn't care. Mason had a supervisor come over who basically told me the same thing Mason had just said, who wasn't as equally rude, but wasn't much better in her delivery.

The only thing they could do for me was renew my executive membership there then I had to go to the other counter for a refund for the general membership price. Or I was able to use my friend's membership card but we had to be on one transaction. I ended up doing the first option.

My concern is that my past few visits haven't been pleasant and I'm over it. My husband and I spend way too much money at your business to be treated like this.

I'm really hoping this is addressed in one way or else I really think I have to consider canceling my membership.

Costco a customer service member uses return policy discriminated to a customer

I like to give my comment to a member of customer service of store #340 Fredericksburg:
Below is my case:
About 10:10am today (December 04 2016), I returned Zyrtec Allergy package (expiration date August 2018) with no receipt. Amy, Costco customer service, processed this return and found that I had $6.00 coupon for this package. For this discount that I forgot it, so I changed my mind and asked Amy to get back this package because I thought it would NOT have had a coupon.
Then I went shopping in Costco. My sister asked me to buy a Zyrtec Allergy package for her. And I bought another one for her on this shopping (with new receipt). So I have 2 packages on my hand.
And I decided return one package and give my sister other package with 6.00 discount.
When I returned to Costco, I picked randomly either packages
About 12:13pm I met Amy again. She looked at Zyrtec Allergy package and told me that this is old package that I had returned early morning and she did not accept it. I told her that I had receipt so it does not matter what it is as long as it was within expiration date (08/18). Then she talked with her Lead and her Lead told me not to accept returning.
Now I started upset. I told him that I picked randomly and I wanted to return it. I could go back my car to give other package but he was not right because I had the right to return any package!
I get angry because I believe his decision are wrong and along with Amy. I told him that how come I could not return while I had receipt and the package not expired.
Lastly, he let Amy return for me. This incident made a long line behind me.
I believe I am right because the reasons as follow:
- I have an official receipt
- I bring a product (no open, no expiration)
So I have right to return. Also, I remembered a Costco customer service member once told that I also could return even product opened.
For a long time with Costco, the product return would be very easy. I would return any what I do not like any time and any product; all would be accepted as long it is not expired.
I recommend Costco #340 leadership should train Amy and her Lead again to have good behavior and no being picky with customer as Amy did and follow exactly Costco return policy to satisfy customer instead of treating a discriminate against a customer.

Dear sir,
This is NOT a scam!
I do not want to make it big just only give you a comment to make Costco better service to Customer.
This is my story in time order
I brought Zyrtec Allergy package and met Amy to return it. After I found that the package with coupon, I changed my mind and told Amy I did not return it and keep it
On the way shopping Costco at moment, my sister asked me to buy for her a Zyrtec Allergy package. After I had bought it, my sister knew I had had another package. She asked me to get the package with coupon and return the package I had just bought to Costco. Then I picked randomly to return it
When I met Amy again, Amy said this was the package with coupon. I did NOT argue with her how she proved this was the package with coupon when their expiration dates are identical and Costco system has the exact scan!
But I JUST MENTIONED her that in Costco return policy, if I have official receipt and the product no open and within expiration date, I have right to return
This is not a scam! absolutely
I would like to make Costco to serve Customer better rather than receiving re-action from you
This is small thing. If you accept my comment to improve Customer service performance, it is your company benefit. If you do not accept it, it is up to you!

I am actually surprised when you jump the conclusion this would be a scam
If it had been scam, I could have wait to return for the week following Other thing the package are identical
I did not argue with Amy if the package is one with coupon or not
I only mentioned her that in Costco return policy, if I have official reciept with package I have right to return
Remember I had met her couple hours before
I still came to return because I know this is my right to return within Costco return policy
