Whataburger - the general cleanliness of the store and the organization of the employees

Store #545: I had recently visited a Whataburger store on Carrier Parkway in Grand Prairie, TX and made note of how clean the store was and how the employees were working together like a well oiled machine, and with smiles on their faces. There were several senior men there having what looked like a daily get together.
Today I decided to go to the store closer to my home in Arlington. I arrived around 7:30 a.m. and when I went to the counter the young lady apologized that the registers had yet to be unlocked and that they were out of ice?
I placed an order for a breakfast platter and coffee. With no ice for my water, I filled my coffee cup from the one and only dispenser there and took my seat. As I sat there I began to notice trash and food droppings on the floor and table next to me. I might have expected this at noon but this was 7:30 in the morning and the restaurant was just opening. I don't normally complain but this was such a contrast from my earlier experience that it really bothered me. I hope my note finds the right people to help. The store is in an excellent location but I worry about it's future.
