Don't ever open an account with wf! They suckered me into opening an account, because my employer had an account with them. My employer began to deposit my checks into my account. These ### hold my check, and bills do not get paid. I am spending the entire weekend on $4! They have caused my car note, credit card payment, and cell phone to be late. They are ruining my weekend, and now my credit. I never overdraw on my account. My old bank, compass bank bbva was solid, and I never had a problem with them. Compass is a smaller regional bank, and their service is far superior over corporate wf. The best bank was when I lived in texas, woodforest bank of texas. Open 24 hours, and all deposits posted immediatley.

This is an outright lie. You stated your employer (whose checks are drawn off Wells Fargo) deposits the checks for you. Wells Fargo can not hold Wells Fargo checks, the system will not allow it. Simple as that.

wells fargo is garbage. They manipulate charges so they can slam you with multiple overdraft fees. Its not a bank, Its a credit card company. Make sure you never come upon tough times if your with WF, all they will do is screw any hope you had of getting back on track. I was late 3 month on my credit card account. They took money out of my brothers account to pay it. Why? My account---me/mom account-----mom account-----brother/mom account. They went down the line and found some money to steal.

Wells Fargo is easily one of the worst financial institutions on the planet. I have written the president, local managers, assistant managers and tellers of my bank, and called EVERY customer service line and they either refuse to work with me or refuse to work with someone that can. Overdraft your account and blow the money on plasma TV's and laser-tag games and never repay the debt. The marks on your credit score greatly outweigh the debt you incur on the fiscal system ruining the majority of the US population. Really.

I opened and account with wtf a few monthss ago and neglected to activate it until now. Guess i thought it was a bank. Didnt realize i was dealing with a loan shark. Grant it my balance was less than a hundred. Now I realize that is exactely what these guys prey upon. People who dont have the means to defent themselves. what a system we live in and allow. Didnt think once activating my card i would find that i had a negative balance. After making numerous calls and getting nowhere other than wasting time its realized that there is no hope with these guys. Take you money and stick it in your mattress. Youll be much better off.

Wells Fargo is a big ### fraud. They can ### you in every way on your home loan and never step in and help modify the ###ing thing! They will gladly write bad notes and adjustable rate mortgages to this day to people who should not be in one. Than try and foreclose on your house when you can't pay the adjustment. Also they are a bunch of big ### idiots when it comes to the foreclosure process. They would rather foreclose on a house and lose $60-80, 000 in equity than modify a loan for some one who can pay their bills if they helped do a principal reduction or modify the ###ING LOAN. B ut now I am STRESS FREE becasue I say come get this MOTHER ###ER. It not worth the dirt it's built on piece of ### banks! GREED how's that taste when you cannot even sell your REO homes anymore they have to be sold for half of what the house is worth!

Eat ### BOA, Wells, CITI, CHASE! They will loan you $200K at 6% and than in 20-30 years you have paid back an amortization of $385-425, 000 to the bank. That is GREED and they are going to end up closed down and everything will be FHA and govermnet controlled. That we will not only pay high interest but an up front mortgage insurance to get a loan at 2.25% that just is FHA GREED or wait GOVERMENT GREED

No complaints here. You are in charge of your own finances. If you overdraft your account, thats a you problem. The bank will gladly charge overdraft fees as penalty meanwhile increasing their capital. I am not saying just Wells Fargo, I am saying any bank. Some local banks like to "keep the peace" so to speak and refund some overdraft fees that ultimately doesn't aide their credit potential. If you mess up your banking situation, that sucks, but guess what? Thats your problem. Track your funds, track your checks. Its not rocket science, its called responsibility. There are things known as calculators.

That last comment is BS. The federal Government has passed a bill that will force banks offer checking accounts without 'overdraft protection'. Up until now it was impossible at any bank to get a checking account that wouldn't extend coverage to those little debits that we all make. This sounds fine on the surface. But what it allows them to do is to rack up a whole list of nsf charged against you. You can use your card while the funds are in your account. and sometimes it takes weeks for them to clear the bank. If you slip up and write a check that overdrafts your account, say for $100, and you had 10 debits for $5-10 that finally hit the bank the same day as your check, they will take out the check first and overdraft your account. Then you will have to pay a $35 fee for each legitimate debit you made while you had the funds. You pay hundreds of dollars for one mistake. In August 2010, this will be illegal. Most banks have seen the light, and now offer a checking account that if the funds aren't in you account, they won't pay it, or charge an NSF fee. All of your debit card transactions are instantly registered. Wells Fargo is one of the last banks to convert to the new set of rules. They are going to wait, until they are forced to by law, to quit victimizing their patrons. Chase Manhattan made 1.4 billion dollars in NSF charges in 2009. This is why the law makers put a stop to this malicious practice. Close your accounts at Wells Fargo!

If you make a debit, keep track! If you don't write it down-- you'll forget. Don't be an idiot... remember back in elementary school how they taught you how to balance a check book? you should try it! if you don't have enough money, don't make the transaction.

We closed our wells fargo checking, you don't need a [censor]ed-up bank like that when you don't have any income or job.

We take our social security disability checks to walmart. They cash them!

Then we signed up for food stamps, you don't need any money, they give you a debit card with a fat-[censor] free balance every month.

Then we signed up for housing, so we get free rent, and our landlord gives us cash back!. Nobody knows the difference! Our wallets are full of cash, our cupboards and fridge are loaded, all the bills are paid! And we drive a brand new car!

[censor] the banks!

[censor] wells fargo! I had "overdraft protection" and the way it was explained to me was far and large different from how it really is.

I was told if you have any money in any account by an in bank banker... That if you overdraw from one account the money from the other account will take its place... Sounds cool right?

So i get off work, i come home to see an email from wells fargo stating a transaction made over a week ago made my online account overdraw. I had over 600$ on my regular checking account but they denied to transfer the money because unknown to me there were a few loopholes.

1) only the regular checking account can have od protection... Not what i was told when i opened the account.

2) if overdrawn the money can only come from your savings account even though you have more than enough money in another account... Another thing i was not told.

And of course they did the classic switcheroo where they put my most expensive bill first to knock down my principal balance so all my small things like $2.50 drink, $5.00 burger, etc. Nickel and dime [censor]... To charge me as many overdraft fees as possible at a whopping 35$ each for an overnight loan for money i didn't need... Not to mention they took their sweet [censor] time of about a week to tell me... You know to allow for more [censor] to pile up.

So now i have a big [censor] overdraft fee for what? Not having my money in the right place?... Yeah i certainly don't have my money in the right place... Wells fargo is [censor] i wish i never made an account there... They will rat you out of every penny you have.

Wells fargo is the worst bank on the planet. Run as fast as you can from this bank ! Do not open an account, and close all the ones you have.

1. I used their "bill pay" to transfer $3, 000 to another checking account in another bank. I was told bill pay can be used for this, and i did it once before and it worked fine. This time, it didn't work. The money left my account, and never arrived at the other bank. No transfer and the money is gone from my account. They aren't looking into it immediately, or even after 24 hours. They're giving themselves up to 10 business days to resolve it! Meanwhile, i'm out the money and am bouncing checks.

2. Their customer service is horrid. Arrogant and smug. No help at all. Many menus and eventually you get a low level person who sends you to the next higher low level person. You never get to talk to the upper management even if there is a crisis. They treat all problems without urgency or care.

3. I went into a branch. The employees there (Hired under "affirmative action") were yucking it up in the back office. Then, they yucked it up at the teller window and insulted a customer. And the joker-teller handling the drive up window was openly complaining about his customers, and at the same time singing out loud. Sooooooo unprofessional.

4. Another branch had mostly somalians wearing burkas working whom couldn't speak clear english.

5. I've been a customer for 19 years. I will be closing all my accounts. They are getting worse and worse. Do not trust them.

Run as fast as you can from this bank !

I have relatives that work at wellsfargo so I have accounts there cause I usually get breaks on overdraft fees, but after today I will be closing all my accounts. I called customer service to ask why I received a late charge of 25.00 plus two finance charges 30.00. I told him I made a payment 2 days before my deadline. He told me that my minimum payment was 40.00 not 36.00 which I paid. Therefore I was charged 25.00 for a late fee. The guy was a complete smug [censor]. I would have been fine with the late charge if it wasn't for that jerk telling me "you have had this credit for a long time and you don't know how the minimum payments work, come on" I couldn't belive he had the nerve to tell me this. I didn't know how it works because I usually pay around 200.00 on my credit card a month, this was the first time I only paid 36.00. I just hung up after that, I couldn't believe it!

I have my payroll check direct deposited every two weeks, and each pay day my check sits in pending for an entire weekend. I have bills to pay and cannot access my money. The first time I had this direct deposited I used my debit card and it caused my account to overdraft and the suckers charged me an overdraft charge even though the money was there. They are by far the worst bank. I did not know they were associated with Wachovia, and I hate that bank. Next week WF goes bye bye. I will never open another account with these thieves!

#### wells fargo and #### all you wells fargo employees defending them while you live on my over draft debt! First off 04/26 7pm go to purchase phone at cell phone shop knowing there is a transaction coming through this week for 200 dollars for student loan. Check account at say 705pm.. .215? Dollars in account and no pendings per website via droid phone.. I make my 197.00 purchase for phone and put note to self (Make 200 deposit) tomorow am before work. .930 am next morning wake up to - 200? Dollars in account.. I tell myself ok i will go make deposit for amount withdrawn this am.. But wells fargo decides to post date my student loan account to yesterday 04/26 not this am 4/27 and charge me an overdraft... I tell myself its okay ill just deposit 200 to cover this transaction (Which i thought occured this am 04/27) and ill be okay.. Nope.. So then i call customer service and get sorry sir well only give you back 17.50.. I tell them let me speak to supervisor.. Supervisor gets on and replies "sorry sir nothing we can do" maybe you should not spend money you dont got".. I tell him so maybe your website shouldnt say those funds are even there if theyre not right? I mean after all automatic debit did occur next day 4/27 not that evening past 7? And if so i deposited 200 to cover same ####ing day.. So #### wells fargo and there criminal enterprise just like all the foreign owned piece of #### banks.. What happen to trustworthy banks and honest overdraft mistakes and helpfulness to your loyal customers deuche bags?

The only major banks are Wells Fargo, Bank of America and Chase. But for some reason there is no Chase bank in Kansas but its everywhere else. I hate it here, the state itself is slow in updating. Major banks are good when you travel, as with me. I do travel so a regional/local bank is a no go for me otherwise I would have no access to my money. I'm gonna give Bank of America a try since Wells Fargo is such a ### up. I've known people with Bank of America who have had problems and others who haven't had problems. I happen to be the one having problems with Wells Fargo and its probably due to the fact that I DO travel and need to make a lot of purchases. Either way they are crappy. I hope I have better luck with Bank of America.

The same thing just happened to us. We recently moved to Ormond beach. My husband's new employer banks with Well's Fargo. We went into a branch to cash the payroll check and were informed it would be $7 to cash the check since we didn't have an account. They talked us into opening an account. We deposited the check and they gave us "instant debit cards" to use until the new cards came in the mail. When we attempted to use them it siad insufficient funds. That was friday...as of Monday we still cannot access out money! I have called and they cannot tell me when the funds will be available. I have e-mailed and they keep telling me I have to call! We should have just paid the darn $7! So whoever called this person a liar...you do not know what you are talking about! I am fed up with Wells Fargo before I even get started! I will continue to bank at my hometown bank in Indiana because they are more helpful from 800 miles away than Well Fargo is from 1 city block!

Wells fargo is telling me that my business which grossed $150, 000.00 last year, leaving me with $30, 000.00 taxable income after all expenses and bills were paid out is not enough income to maintain a $1, 100.00 mortgage payment and they are foreclosing... Well the ###s can have it and they can put it in the pile with the rest of the unsold houses and state, city and government properties they won't be able to sell along with 103 ridge road elkton md. Up yours wells fargo ! I pray every day for the news heaven that they went bankrupt just like washington mutual and enron... You ###

My grand mother died and her sons sold her house for 110, 000 it appraised at 140, 000 I already had a loan on a different property at Wells Fargo for 68, 000. My in come at the time was 29, 000 a year.and I had 10, 000 in credit card debt.and a home improvement loan that I could use for improvements that would max out at 40, 000. I wanted my grand mother house it had been in the family for 60 years .and I thought I would sale the ether house.I talked to the bank and this is what thy did .thy gave Me 110, 000 to by grams house. I got a loan from them for 80, 000. the rest came off of the home improvement loan the day after i closed on grams house . So now I ow 80, 000 on grams house, 118, 000 on first house . But thy told me at any time I could come back down and ref and put the home improvement loan onto the houses, now after all has gone to the dogs and I missed a payment on the home improvement lone it went to high interest 20 per cent and nether one of the houses are worth enough to absorb the 40, 000.and now my debt to in come isn't high enough .If I owed the 40, 000 first I wouldn't have qualified for it but since they gave me the loan first and then maxed out the home improvement loan to come with the rest it worked .I'm maxed out and I'm stuck .i cant pay extra a month .and I cant refnanced I cant sale .

I have been paying on a fraudulent Wells Fargo mortgage for more than nine years now. The story is so long and depressing, that there's not enough band-width here to write about it all. To make a long story short, I signed a 30-year fixed at 7.375% with a $63, 700 down payment in late '06. I received a letter in November of '08 stating that my 28-year a.r.m. was about to begin in 1/1/2009. I disagreed and opened my original packet only to find a completely fabricated, forged stack of documents, including a fabricated note, which I have numerous copies of now from W.F. and the crooked agents at Western Title. A [censored] bag attorney for W.F. in Des Moines, named Terry Rains, continues to insist that "no error occurred" in response to my complaint against W.F. through the C.F.P.B.. I disputed Wells Fargo's response and called them out on their undeniable fraud and lies in a seven-page dispute which I sent back to the C.F.P.B.. I have now created a 65 to 70-page packet of documents exposing the entire fraudulently fabricated mortgage-documents. There is only a robo-signer's initials on one fabricated document that remotely ties Wells Fargo and Citi to my so-called mortgage. There is no signature on ANY of my documents from an authorized agent nor is there a notary signature or seal to be found on ANY of my mortgage papers. I am also not in default.

The useless county sheriff's department received the first packet. The second packet I hand-delivered to my local F.B.I. office (worthless). The next will go to the Comptroller of the Currency, another to my congressman, a copy to the state attorney general and finally the office of the President of the United States.

I'm not f-cking around with these crooked pieces of sh-t anymore. Including my $63, 700 down-payment, I have given Wells Fargo over $225, 000.00 over the past nine years. Come to find out that only $9000 has been put toward the principle on a home that is worth $50, 000 less than my break-even point. This figure does not include the $151, 000.00 in interest they have screwed me for.

What's more, is that my mortgage was immediately bundled and sold off to Citi in early 2007 which I recently discovered. The trust: CMLTI 2007-WFHE2 M7, is the Citi Mortgage Trust which the mortgage supposedly belongs to and it's been sued for fraudent mortgages and illegal foreclosures, and sued for selling bad securities to Allstate, Ann Arbor Pension Fund, Symoniac vs All Banks and various other for fraud. Hundreds of millions in settlements paid out to investors in class-actions against the trust.

So far, the trust has not been able to produce an original note and U.S. Bank is trustee and they have nothing to say. The last 10-k filing the trust produced was March 31, 2008. Therefore, the trust has not been valid since at least that time and I firmly believe that Wells Fargo has been cleaning me out on a fraudulent debt on behalf of the Citi trust which is no longer a functioning trust.

These bass turds have been scamming me for tens of thousands, for years, knowingly servicing a fraudulent debt. The FDIC and the 2008 government bail-out likely satisfied the settlements, especially since the last filing in 2008.

Getting this case in front of a judge who isn't being paid off, is apparently next to impossible. A fraudulent debt on a fraudulent mortgage with a fake modification thrown in the mix. Wells Fargo already knows that I'm not someone whom they want to anger because I promised them that I will do everything in my power to expose their fraud, make them pay and I will screw them back and destroy their reputation wherever I go until my last dying breath.

In short, it would frankly be quite satisfying to burn their stage coach, free their horses, then hang each and every one of the f-cking sh-t bag Wells Fargo employees and bankers.
