This HAS TO BE THE WORST COMPANY EVER!~~~~ I totally agree! They can NEVER get their stories straight. The info provided and given online is completely different than that which they have when speaking in person. I will NEVER trust them again. Thanks wells Fargo for really screwing up my credit.

completely agree,
My GF has also been laid off and these people lie!
can we not get a lawyer and sue for unprofessionalism i mean they're rude and act as if they themselfs are Wells Fargo when they can lose their job as easily as anyone else they arent the bank so why the lies and inapropriate behavior?
Vehicle was surrendered voluntaraly and it states that on the form. We called to turn it in to avoid additional fees. We were told there's a flat fee 175.00 no additional fees" by Chad" @ (Wells) there a Claudia in the picture 1 month after the vehicle was surrendered, we call and ask for Chad she says she is in charge so we ask whats up with the flat rate and she replies well why are you worried about it? its not much, you should have paid for the car (besides the point) and goes on about how we will be sued and that there is nothing we can do they wanted the car and they got it. I mean these people are something else.
if theirs anyone out their thats interested in a law suit lets get together and find a lawyer to get some justice with these liars. Email:pasadenasancho@yahoo.com

Yes, something needs to be done about Wells Fargo Auto Finance. My car was just repossed and like the majority of the people I am almost finished with my payments. I have battling with Wells Fargo for the last four years. They are rude, lie, nasty, and a bunch of crooks. I am not behind in my payments and have made payment every months. It is time for people to take a stand and fight for our rights. Not one person at the Corporate Office can tell me anything. They go from one lie to the another. They cannot keep their stories straight. When you catch them in a lie, they get upset and get loud. I have contacted an attroney, , but if anyone knows of an attorney handling cases against Wells Fargo, let me know. I want to be included in every suit. I was scheduled to go out of town for the holiday, but because my car was illegal repossed, my thanksgiving has been ruined.

I have similar issues, very similar including a repo last week after 4 years of timely payments and being 15 days late - that's right and my credit and that of my co-signer is now destroyed. Once the car is back in my possession, we are paying it off but I'm concerned after reading about lost titles. Regardless, I'd rather file for lost title than have these bottom feeding pig [censor] life ruining jerk-bags to deal with.

OH AND:
For whomever thinks Wachovia is NOT Wells Fargo, you are incorrect. Wachovia is a wholly owned subsidiary of Wells Fargo Bank N.A.

Regardless:
1. Keep this alive. I have a few calls in to legal organizations. Class action is necessary and there are far too many complaints across the board here for one or more of the attorneys I've called to not accept the class pro-bono or for post settlement payment. These idiots have to be stopped.
2. Use what you have and contact the elected officials in your area: Congress signed off on the bail outs to keep these clowns in business so in this time of mid-term elections, use the congressional bozos to put pressure on the WFAF bozo teams. Having worked for a major bank for years, believe me the last thing they want is the government or any agencies crawling up their [censor]
3. Continue to keep Balboa in the mix as Wells Fargo claims no affiliation however, Balboa is strictly part of the Wells Fargo family
4. Play their game to their face - make the payments and on time and please check back here. We have a class now we just need the action of the lawsuit.

I use NAtionwide Insurance for my auto insurance. Back in Feb 2017 I received a letter from wells fargo saying my auto insurance for the vehile I financed thru them, was cancelled, and that if I did not provide proof of insurance, they would purchase insurance and add it too my car payment. I was never late on my insurance. I thought It was a mistake on their part, called and straighten it out. Had Nationwide send over a copy of the insurance. Then in July of 2017 the same thing happened, they blamed my insurance company for not sending them proof - I again straightened it out. Now, on Oct 8, 2017 I received another saying the same thing. WELLS FARGO SUCKS! THEY CAN'T get it right! I provided them with proof back in july of 6 months worth of insurance, yet 3 months later now, they are saying they are going to add insurance premiums to my car payment if I don;t get insurance. I HAVE INSURANCE, I HAVE HAD IT THE ENTIRE TIME.

I paid my final car payment to pay my car off in December BEFORE the due date. Since then they have been calling me and trying to repossess the car saying I owe Interest. I have explained to them over and over I paid all my payments (granted some were late) and paid it off prior to the final payment due date and since the interest is built into the payments I do NOT owe interest. They will not stop. They won't send my title. They tell me I owe no late fees or collection fees, just interest. I have talked to attorneys and looked at the contract and there is no way I owe them any interest. I am going to have to pay an attorney to sue them in order to get my title on my car and get them off my back. This is RIDICULOUS

We have received calls at home for 6 months or longer for a person that we have never heard of. We have told Wells Fargo numerous times that we don't know the person they are calling for. I tell them I am going to contact the Attorney Generals Office and they won't call for a week... and then... they call again. Harrassing is right! They are horrible and I have never done business with them!

Wells Fargo has customer service/collection reps/team members who are obnoxius, rude and down right mean! In order to get a job there, it's my belief that one must be the biggest LOOSER around who can't get a job anywhere else. They are all trained to scream at customers and be demanding and discourteous, regardless of the situation. They act as if they are God's gift to the financial universe. Their favorite word is "let me help you." Hark, get a grip! I rue the day that I ever did business with them and by the way, I would never bank at Wachovia, and would highly recommend that anyone re-consider ever doing business with them or any of their affiliates.

The same exact thing happened to me. And I feel that everytime I want to speak to a supervisor, there just doesn't seem to be one available at that moment. They have the rudest people ever to work in a company that is so big. The phone calls are relentless and I have asked repeatedly for the last 8 months not to call me at work, and they still continue to call me there. I told them that I work with kids and I cannot be on the phone fighting with a car company because I will get fired and then how will I pay for the payments then? and I was then told that it wouldn't make a difference because I don't make my payments as it is, which is bull. They failed to tell me that I was paying 90.00 dollars a month for their insurance because I didn't have any, which is also bs. I always had insurance through another agency and it never got cancelled, but they claimed (after having the car for a year) that they had no proof of insurance and they were charging me that extra money, which then made my car payments late by months! I too had to fax my insurance papers mutlitple times for them to realize that I actually was covered. And no one there can ever get their story right. One person will tell me that I owe 2 months, and another will tell me that I am all caught up. When you try to tell them that, they laugh at you and talk to you like you are an idiot. I have hung up on them on more than one occasion. I was even being threatned at work that they were going to repo my car because she didn't have proof that I made payments. Boy did she feel like the biggest jerk when I prooved to her that I did. That was the day I was called at work 3 times in a row by them. Worst company ever. Kind of want them to just repo the car so I can get them out of my hair.

Your a idiot, look at how auto loans work, all these people in the country want their interest lowered and want everything for nothing, the ONLY way to get interest lowered on a auto loan is through a re finance, wells fargo or any bank cannot just decide to lower it one day, YOU signed the loan, YOU agreed to the interest, maybe you should look up what is legal before you start talking, large companies dont care if you threaten to turn in your vehicle, they will sell it at auction and YOU owe the remaining balance, if you dont pay it, they garnish your wages!

get educated people

Awful. Refused to reimburse me for an overdraft fee created when they charged me for an automatic payment after I paid off my loan because I didn't stop the automatic payments. Spoke with a 'manager' who was more than happy to loose a customer for life.

Then, they salted my wounds by telling me that they mailed me my vehicle title but it never showed up. I had to pay $25 to the state of MA for a dupe.

I made the mistake of co-signing an auto loan for a friend who needed a car to drive to her new job 50 miles away. Later she lost her job and was not able to make the payments for a few months while looking for a new job. I did not know of this until the phone calls started. At first I answered them and contacted the girl about catching up. I made a couple of payments for her and so did her parents who have very little income. My wife and I now live on social security and are making mortgage payments. The girl I was helping got two part time jobs and tried to set up a payment schedule with them. But when you talk to them all the do is scream at you and demand full payment. The phone calls start at 8:00 A.M. and continue every half hour to two hours until 9:00P.M. every day. One time my daughter had an emergency and was at the hospital and called me. I answered a call on the second line which was from some woman from Wells Fargo. I told her I could not talk to her right now and she screamed at me that she was more important than my daughter and I should hang up on her! After that I stopped answering any of their calls. It did not matter if any payments or arrangements were made because they would keep calling and claiming that we had not talked to anyone. They went as far as calling us liars. I would not reccomend anyone to finance with this company at any time.

I moved to a new state 18 months ago. Shortly after moving I made every attempt to get the documentation this state requires to register my vehicle. It turns out that in this state they require the title in order to register a vehicle, and without the title it cannot be done. It came as no surprise to me when Wells Fargo refused to provide the local state agency with the proper documentation. I even had the paperwork requested by the local courthouse. Wells Fargo demands that they do not have to provide the title until the loan is paid off. Since I don’t have the money to pay off the loan I am unable to register my vehicle in this state. It is sad that 18 months later it hasn’t been resolved.

At this point I have given up. If they won’t provide the paperwork to the state when asked I do not believe that I stand even a chance to gaining it. The local state office says they have never had a company be so unreasonable about dealing with state law. Interesting how they don’t care if I have to break the law so they can keep their stupid title. My experience with Wells Fargo has been subpar at best. I will never do business with them again.
I would recommend that anyone considering loaning with them be cautious. If you plan on moving or might move out of state don’t do it. If you cannot bring your payment in person to a local branch, don’t do it. If you might be even 1 day late EVER, don’t do it. And NEVER NEVER NEVER give them your work phone number. When the bank teller messes up your payment (and I promise you they will) they will call you at work relentlessly until they are able to realize that they are to dumb to look at their computer screen and see that – oh yes the payment is there it just got logged as a principal payment instead of a regular payment. Seriously these people do not realize how to read. I had to get a mediator involved to solve that clerical error. For I am the customer and I MUST be wrong.

I experienced the same issue with them when I purchased my 2017 Nissan Xterra. I initially signed the paper work for 12% interest rate because I had a bankruptcy that I had filed during my divorce, I found that acceptable, knowing that a higher interest rate would be the result of the bankruptcy.

Low and behold once I received the payment book, my interest is 20.99% interest and they had financed the truck at 120% of it's value and no one will re-finance the truck at a lower interest rate and now that I have one year to pay off the truck, they have come back and said they didn't receive payment from May it is now August. Needless to say now they are threatening to repossess the truck for which I still owe $12, 000, which is the original purchase price. So, they call daily while I am pulling paper work out of every place possible to show that the payment was made.

When is the banking commission going to look into these shysters?

If you didn't know, http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/edu/pubs/consumer/credit/cre27.pdf will explain to you your rights as a consumer and your legal right to fair debt collection. Wells Fargo Auto Finance is in CLEAR violation of many of these rulings in the fair collection of debt. In my own personal case, they violate this ruling: Causing a telephone to ring or engaging any person
in telephone conversation repeatedly or continuously
with intent to annoy, abuse, or harass any person at the
called number.

Learn your rights and hopefully hard working consumers can stop this company in their tracks.

I also have been harrassed by Wells Fargo Auto Finance with multiple calls in one day stateing befor the "grace period" had ended. My husband and I had both lost our jobs and when we tried to contact this company to try to make some kind of arrangements we were told we just to find a way to pay. The web site is the worst I have ever dealt with. I have tried to make payments online to avoid the addidtional fees and i can never get the site to accept my user name or password. When I contact the site help desk I am treated Like I am a complete idiot. I would do anything to get away from this company, but because of our job situation it isn't possible.

My car is almost paid off. I recently changed banks and thought that Wells Fargo and I were straight.NOT! I received a nast phone call from some obnoxious beyotch! named Arlene W445 was the info. she gave me. I have never been late with a car payment. Wells Fargo is nothing but a bunch of incompetent buffooons! I filled out their paper work to change the bank account. I even sent them a voided check! so wtf?! is the problem. Why do we have to babysit these banks?! and credit card companies?! In the age of computers, they can't get a bank account right?

This Arlene was the most rude, obnoxious, hateful, wench! I have, ever spoken too. My car loan will be paid off soon and then it's adios to Wells Fargo. Poor customer service, incompetence and dishonesty. Isn't it sad that we the customer ( remember us?! ) have to watch these banks & credit card companies 24/7 or our credit will be in the crapper and we will be gauged with late fees ect. This is not America anymore :( there is no honesty or customer service. It's no wonder that we are failing :(

I was told that I had a 10 grace period when I first opened an auto loan with Wells Fargo, however that was a lie. The collections departments starts calling OVER AND OVER AND OVER after two days being late. I had a 10 grace period with Toyota and they NEVER did anything as silly as this bank. I would have given my business to someone else if I had known the kind of liars these people are.

I am looking now to find another company to refinance with because I cannot deal with Well Fargo and their foolishness.

My Husband and I are with you. We have spoken to the so called collectors and are getting no where. They lie to you and hound you to let them draft money out of your account. It's not that we don't want to repay the loan, it just we are strained right now. My Mother passed away last June and had no life insurance. Guess what, they won't bury anyone unless they know they had life insurance or you pay upfront. So, guess what we had to do? Yes, that's right, we had to write a check to pay for the funeral and burial upfront. $15, 000 + to get it done, and that was the lowest cost. This does not include the opening and closing of the grave site, that was an additional $2017. So needless to say, our bank account went to about null and void of any funds. But we struggle on. As we all know, life has it's obstacles and we try to overcome them, but sometimes life kicks you in your teeth. In October of last year, my Husband comes home and tells me he had just been laid off of his job after 20 years. No severance pay, no offer to let him stay and take a pay cut, just sorry, business is bad and
we had to let you go. He was stunned and astonished. He could not fathom that after being with a company for 20 years they would just kick him to the curb. Again, life goes on. He did however find employment with a company making less than half of his previous weekly salary, but was glad to have a job. I also was able to find employment, also at half of my previous salary. Even with the income we had, we found it increasing harder to make our payments and decided to call ahead and try to work something out. At that time, they could not do anything for us since we were not behind on our payments. They did not want to help us then and they don't want to help us now. What do ya do? We have talked and tried over and over again to work something out, but it seems like we are just wasting our breath. All they can do when we talk to them is threaten us with liens and wage garnishment. We were even told once they would give us a 2 month deferred payment if we would send in a payment at that time. So, we postponed a payment for something else and sent the payment to them. When we tried to get back in touch with the lady, to get the payments deferred as she promised, she would not return our calls. Finally after a week she called back to talk to us again since another payment was coming due and demanded permission to draft it out of our bank account. When my Husband asked her about the paperwork for the deferred payments, she said she did not tell him that she would deferred any payments and would not do so. I wanted to tell her what a low down piece of, well anyway you get how I was feeling. So, my wonderful Husband left her a message on her voicemail, that we were trying to get money together to make the payment, but I would not give them permission to draft it out of our account. She called back and left a voicemail that our loan had been sent to the repo department for pick up. He again called her and tried to get her to understand the magnitude of the dilemma, but all she wanted was a date payment would be made or our vehicle would be picked up. So, that is where we stand as of now. We do not know where to turn or how to evade this conclusion. We are as you would say, out of options. Of course, we never had any to begin with. It is all about the all mighty dollar and the heck with the people that actually work and try to make ends meet in today society. The everyday average Americans are the ones that will pay for the Executives of the World to have all their excess extravagance. If there is anyone out there that has a solution, please let us know.

Totally agree with you on Wells Fargo Auto Finance Customer Service (Collection Representatives). I have recently gone through a divorce and have 2 small children. Granted, I have been behind with my car note. However, I have never been talked to in the manner in which these individuals speak to someone. I was told, when "trying" to explain my situation about going through a divorce and trying to catch everything up, that I "picked him"! That I was a "piece of trash just like he must be". Calls on my job, even the week after paying a large sum to them. It is their "policy" that when you call and tell them you will contact them on a certain date to make a payment, they will not contact you for 5 days then they are required by "policy" to contact you. So, your arrangement to contact them for payment is really no arrangement at all if it's not within 5 days from the day you are speaking with them. One representative told me he would continue to call my office if I hung up until I paid him right then. I did hang up and he ...Called me right back refusing to let me off the phone! This is against the LAW. He threatened to debit my account without my authority to do so. Needless to say what kind of mood this left me in. They have not respect for human life, no respect for themselves nor the people they are speaking with. Trying to work with them in a civilized manner is IMPOSSIBLE. Wells Fargo Auto Finance Management truly needs to look at their 'POLICIES" on collection practices. Oh, by the way, the individual who told me "you are a piece of trash" ... his name, or he said it was, is Danny. He calls from Florida. Yes, I owe them. Yes, I'm paying them. I have made 3 notes with them in January and received a call today at my place of work. Good faith efforts mean nothing to these people. I would NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE. That is the very best I say about them. Until you experience them, you can't imagine! AWEFUL

Wells fargo finance is the worst. The complaints I have are too numerous to list. I have finanlly (so I thought) paid off my loan. I paid 2 months together to finish the loan (60 months). They say I still owe them 2 months which is totally untru and I have sent them documents to prove it and a printout from their company of all payment made since 2017 that ends 2017 with a zero balance. Now they are threatening to repo my car - can you believe this.

I unfortunately due to unemployment fell on some hard times. I have both my mortgage and car loan with Wells Fargo. I fell behind on my car payments. I have called customer service and made arrangements to catch up on my back payments. I have been making my scheduled on-line payments as promised but that did not stop the collections division and repo. division to stop harassing me at least ten times a day. I was even called by a repo person who threatened that he was going to come to my front door and “get me” if I didn’t give up the car. I tried to explain to him I had just made a payment and another payment was coming out of my account in two days. He started to mimic me and yelled “give me the f**king car lady. I don’t want to hear you bulls**t! Do you think I’m playing?” I hung up and he called me back and started yelling at me again. I called Wells Fargo collections department and spoke with my “account manager” who was almost just as bad as the repo. guy. I demanded to talk to a manager but was yelled at instead and hung up on three times. I reported them to the BBB, Consumer Protection, and the FTC. I don’t know what else to do.

Wells Fargo Auto Finance is charging me exhorbitant fee's for excessive wear and tear that is not evident on my returned vehicle. I think they systematically do this to rip off clients who have leased vehicles. I am thinking of a class action suite against the company.

First of all...take responsibility for the fact that you cosigned for someone who already had shady credit, and now your credit is harmed because of it. Wells Fargo didn't do this to you, your daughter did.

And with regard to the "10 day grace period allowed by law"...that's completely false. The grace period is a Wells Fargo policy, and it only applies to the late charge. They can still call you at 1 day past due. There is no law. Know your facts.

My credit worthyiness is very good, borders on outstanding. I have never delt with such a bunch of cheats as this. They call me 3 times daily even though I have not gone over the 10 day grace period allowed by law. When I informed the gentleman that I was recording our conversation he immediately hung up the phone. I only wanted him to stop calling me 3 times daily. I also informed him that I was filing a complaint with the state attorney general of the state I live in. I will never do buisness with this company or any of his affiliates.
