Waste Management [WM] review: WM is not a good neighbor.

WM is hounding us to pay a $5 late fee. We canceled service less than 30 days after it billed us for another quarter: we could not condone WM's support for Donald Trump the lying dog and fascist president. We should not be subjected to a late fee for cancellation inside the 30-day window.
When we submitted the cancel ORDER, WM responded that it would call us within 2 days to complete the transaction. It did not call. It sent an email a week later and got wrapped around its axle because the bill is paid by the spouse of the account holder.
Nearly two years ago, we learned that WM bought the service from Patriot Disposal without notification to us of the change of ownership and change in holiday service. The change affected the 4th of July service. We expected the pickup to delay a day after the holiday. Instead, the driver arrived a day early and (much to his credit) dismounted and pulled our canister to the curb. The new local owners could not handle the administration of the new accounts.

Service is OK. Corporate control is not so good.
