Waffle House review: Store #1397

Hello,

Yesterday I went to the store listed above. The restaurant was busy and so was the staff. I waited 5 mins before asking a waitress to clean a small table for me and my plus one and then another 10 mins before asking another waitress to clean the same table. Finally, afterward a couple left a large table and I asked a 3rd waitress, the table was cleaned. That was so unprofessional and poor customer service and this did not include the cold food that was served to us after we ordered. Fast forward to last night approximately 10:45pm. My guest and I and a gentleman a head of us entered the same restaurant that was empty, and every table in there was dirty. It was so bad that my friend, who work as a Food Inspector, asked if they were open because the cook and two waitresses was sitting down conversing with the restaurant being as nasty as it was. Me, my guest and the gentleman who walked in there ahead of us left because of the filth. I don’t know who the district or store manager is, but they need to make sure that this store is managed properly especially on the weekend. I will not be going there no time soon and the store can expect DHEC to be stopping by very soon.
