Waffle House Scattered and Smothered Hashbrowns

I own my home and have lived here for over 30 years. This was country then came Publix and across the road a Waffle House. As this was happening, I was doing construction work all over 50-100 miles from home. Waffle House was lunch pretty much every day, I did this work for 45 years and Waffle House was

lunch almost daily. I always loved the breakfast meals, I would eat it 3 times a day if I could. Once retired it was always breakfast at Waffle House with friends who lived around the area. I got sick and lost a few years, but I am back now, always loving the breakfast I headed to Waffle House for the breakfast, to my surprise they seemed to have changed the cooking process for Scattered and Smothered Hash Browns. All those years of eating them scattered all over the grill and placed the same way on my plate are gone. Now you get them looking like regular cooked crunchy hashbrowns. Goodbye eggs. Its waffle time.

Waffle House Being accused of being homophobic and was ordered out of the restaurant

I filed a complaint with the Waffle House thirty days ago, and a representative said she would look into it. I have not heard a word back. I was in the Waffle House on 9th Ave, Pensacola, Florida and was accused of being homophobic and was asked to leave the restaurant by the manger named Gary. Waffle House The disrespect i recived at your store at the university of cinncinnati campus

I was there around 3am an i orderd sirlon steak with girts raisin toast eggs over medium and grits. i got watered down tbone stake plane toast and the yoke in my eggs were hard. I IMIDDETLY RETURND IT AN IT WAS THROWN AT ME IN FRONT OF ALL THE CUSTOMERS STANDING THERE. SHE HAD 3 CUSTOMERS ALREADY WAITING BEFORE I GOT THERE AN 2 THAT WHERE WAITING BECAUSE SHE GOT THERE WRONG 2. SHE WAS GETTING HIGH IN FRONT OF EVERYBODY AND THE YOUNG MAN VISABILY HAD A GUN WIT HIS FINGER ON THE TRIGGER WAS THE ONLY ONE ALLOWED IN THE REASERANT,WHEN I WENT BACK AN ADDRESSED THT MY ORDER WAS WRONG IT WAS THROWN AT ME VIOUSELY. I WAS CURSED AT AN HUMILATITED IN FRONT OF NOT ONLY THE PEOPLE THAT ALSO HAD THE WRONG ORDER BUT PEOPLE THT WERE MAKING NEW ORDERS THT THOUGHT I WAS THE BAD PERSON BUT ATE THE FOOD AN DISCONTINOUD THEIR ORDERS

Waffle House Service and product

I was just in Waffle House in Fairview, Tennessee and I ordered scrambled eggs with cheese and I didn't want to see egg white in my eggs and hash browns scattered and covered. The eggs were full of egg whites and my hash browns wasn't covered like I asked. I've eaten there twice and I have yet to have a good experience. I will not be going back. My boyfriend said his waffle was so cold that the butter wouldn't melt. When you go out to eat, you order it like you want it and they never get it right

Desired outcome: them to cook the order like you order it.. and i believe i should get a refund of my meal 17.25

Waffle House Poor service, incorrect orders, and long wait

I have eaten at many Waffle House locations and have always loved eating there. On October 25, 2022 we traveled to Columba SC for my Granddaughters Graduation from Basic Training. After arriving we went to Waffle House # 1470, 7428 Garners Ferry to eat dinner, I have never been so disappointed in the service, quality of food and long wait time, it was terrible. First off we waited about 20 minutes, before order was taken. Then after 30 minutes my Granddaughter and son was brought their waffles. After another 15 minutes they brought out my Granddaughters bacon, which was burnt and she would not eat it. We still have not received any drinks. After another 15 minutes we got the rest of our food and drinks. My son ordered eggs over easy, he got scrambled with cheese instead, his sausage was cold. My hash browns were burnt. Everyone had issues with their meal. We were never asked if we needed refills for drinks. Our waitress never came back to the table except to bring the check. She was very unfriendly. We were there over 1 hour and 40 minutes. This was the worst experience I have ever had at a Waffle House. No excuse for this kind of service. Phillip Daniel

Waffle House Refused service

12:40 am 10/28/22

I entered the Waffle House in Irondale,AL and was refused service based solely on my race. I’m posting this on all of my social media accounts as well as telling everyone I come in contact with that this location is racist and refuses to serve minority Native Americans!

I have now been threatened tgat my complaint won’t be posted. I have been absolutely clear about tge location/date/time and reason I was refused service. Clearly you do not take complaints seriously and simply blow off negative feedback about any Waffle House location. If not then prove me wrong and do something about the injustice!

Desired outcome: Any response from you as my people are sorely underrepresented and mistreated.

Waffle House Rude server

I ate at the Waffle House on Hwy 441 in Commerce, GA on October 17th at 11:24 am with my mom. The server who let us in was nice and friendly. I wished our own server, LaShonda, was friendly. The whole time throughout, she had kind of a deadpan tone in her voice and said things with an impatient attitude. Her overall attitude was not charming in the least bit. When my mom misheard her, she repeated the question in an annoyed tone. I noticed she had no problem being friendly to the guy sitting three seats over from us. Our server and the other gentleman were black and my mom and I are white. Therefore I think this a racial issue. When I asked the manager to switch us to another server he did, but she started getting nosy. When I told her what I thought happened/how it look to me, and that I didn't like anyone to disrespect my mother, she became verbally confrontational and did not apologize. Eating at Waffle House is a tradition in our family whenever visiting each other's towns, but I think next time we will avoid this Waffle House and possibly Waffle Houses altogether. Please have the store manager contact me promptly about this.

Desired outcome: I would like an apology from the store manager and disciplinary action against LaShonda to be taken. Please call if able.

Waffle House Customer being rude to employees

Hi my name is Carson and my wife and daughter came to eat at the Waffle House across from 7/11 Sunday morning we had a server name kisha she had red hair attached to her head her service was wonderful she tried to make sure our visit was enjoyable she talk to us laugh and joke with us and my daughter says she likes her being our waitress but my problem was I couldn’t catch the young lady name that was worker with her next to her but I just don’t understand how it’s ok to let a customers talk to her the way this young man did when she apologized and try to make it right more then once all that matter to her was making it right with the customers even our waitress tried to help but they still find something to make a problem and it didn’t have to be i just feel it wasn’t right how they can call another waitress from the other side of the building and put money in her hand as a tip and the young waitress didn’t do anything to help or tell the customers the young lady trying I felt bad on how my waitress was being treated and the other waitress was being treated I never gotten her name but I remember her being about 4’9 and white with glasses and I wanna say thank you to the man on the grill he had on a different uniform then the other waitress had on him and our waitress had on the same shirt if that helps he step in and help with the problem in this situation the customers was rude and it wasn’t the waitresses fault I wanna say to the three people we appreciate y’all serve and doing the best y’all can at y’all job and keeping a smile on y’all face even when y’all busy and have no time to breathe we will be back and don’t let it break y’all y’all need to know customers is not always right and y’all shouldn’t make y’all employees feel like they are always right if you have any questions you can contact me [protected]

Waffle House Lack of Service

Stopped by Auburn store at 2167 South College Street, Auburn, AL at approx. 9PM on October 15th. Workers stated that they were in the middle of shift change and that they were also only taking take out orders. When calling on the phone a message states that they are limiting to go orders for the convenience of in store guests. 5 workers were in the store and all appeared to be hanging out just standing around. Not sure how you make this work as a business but will certainly tell others about this experience. Won’t bother with WH in the future as a result.

Waffle House Dining at restaurant location in Hardeeville, SC # 90

I went to Waffle House store 90 in Hardeeville, SC. I tried to order my food for dine in, but was told that I could only order my food to go before 6am, but there were other customers eating at the counter and at least two other tables. I realize that Waffle house may be short staffed, but I don’t know why I was told I could only order food to go, when they had no problem serving at least 5-6 other customers for dine in orders. I am a truck driver, I eat at Waffle House everyday.

Waffle House unprofessional attitude and service

On Saturday, August 13th around 11:00 pm I visited Waffle House at 1054 Mebane Oaks Rd, Mebane NC (Store #1332). As we took our seats the waitress gave myself and the two ladies with me plastic silverware along with a gentleman sitting on the stool. We were the only African Americans in the place but there were 10 or more caucasians present and all of them had real silverware, so I requested our table to have real silverware also. The waitress was obliging but not apologetic. That incident came off as racist to me.

I had to send my bacon back to be fully cooked and he brought my toast to me in his hands. After that he walked away from the grill and left.

Second the cook was rude and unprofessional. Cursing and refusing to allow three people who had waited for 30 min to get a table. Saying "I'm not cooking another damn thing."

Desired outcome: I would like for all three of those working that night to be re-trained especially the cook. I would like for a waitress not to discriminate against anyone of color and wait for a customer to ask for plastic silverware.

Waffle House Waffle House Hi 52 Goose Creek SC

Went in a couple of weeks ago and the smell was awful,,,like rotten garbage; flies were swarming in the right side of the dining room. I left. Today I went in and noticed only one man in the kitchen; two customers on the right side whose feet were in water. I looked down and I was standing in about an inch of water accumulated on the floor under the table . My shoes and socks were soaked. I looked at the man in the kitchen; he smiled and informed me there was a broken pipe under the counter. I saw what appeared to be a water pump across the room. I left!

Desired outcome: Either clean the place up, hire responsible people or close the place down: it’s filthy . The health department would close the doors!

Waffle House Staff and allowing their family to do drugs in the restaurant bathroom.

At location 1774 in Marion N. C, Aug. 10 9:25 p.m.

Their was s Manager that was in pajamas cursing and ranting to workers and pulled the only cook in the office and very loudly complained about staff.

This manager family entered the store with a friend n went to the bathroom and smoked marijuana. When the cook returns, he and the family member exits building and goes behind building.

Manager is walking thru speaking very loud n interrupting wait staff and customers. Manager also had no undergarments on.

Food was good but I will not return to patronize with this going on.

Waffle House My paycheck

I worked at the waffle House store #644 and everybody else that was going to be receiving a paper check has received theirs and I still have not received mine we have been having problems with the workers and the manager that is at the night's way Waffle House in Indianapolis Indiana they have workers over there that is smoking meth behind the building while on the clock and they don't want to do anything about other employees putting the other employees down I'm just wanting my paycheck so I can go back home

Waffle House Customer service

Would not take my order, said it would be at least 20 min. It was 3:50am on my eat to work on Aug. 3. Two employees and no other customers. It shouldn’t matter what time it is, good customer service should be given. Neither employee acknowledged me when I came in the door and when I said good morning, the cook looked at me with a blank stare and said nothing. Thanks. Y’all just lost a customer

Waffle House Order not right

My wife and I stopped at a Waffle a little after 10 pm last night. We pulled in and parked in a "Handy Cap" space, we have a Handy Cap tag. The cook was in the parking lot doing what looked to be a drug transaction, and on our way in she said we needed a sticker to park there. I told her we had a handy cap tag, she said we needed a sticker too. We started to leave at that point, but we didn't. My wife ordered a hamburger (without cheese) the cook put cheese on it and then scrapped it off. I ordered a double order of hash browns scattered and smothered, she only put one slice of cheese on them, there SHOULD have been two. She was rude and inconsiderate.

The waitress on the other hand was extremely nice. People like the cook should not be working at Waffle House.

My wife and I eat at Waffle Houses all over and we have never had worse treatment.
