After being a loyal Vivint Customer for over 6 years, we decided to discontinue our service. We were satisfied with both the equipment and services provided. I called Vivint and requested to cancel service. I had to speak with 7 customer service reps. Each rep tried to badger us into continued service by offering free or discounted equipment or reduced fees. Each new rep tried to sweeten the deal and would not cancel service. After the 6th rep, I was hung up on and had to start over. Finally after demanding a supervisor I was told they would not cancel service for 30 days, and only if I agreed to another attempt to sell me more equipment. Then they emailed me information which we both have, and demanded i email it back with my cancelation request. 1.5 hours on the phone. This is a very unethical business practice.
Recommendation: Stay away from Vivint.
