I went to Cameo Dental Specialists, Ltd. for a consult on 2/4. My mom, who is elderly, had to take off her jewelry for an X-ray. We gave the jewelry to the tech in a cup, but when we left, we forgot to take it with us. When we called on Monday, they only had the earrings. Why didn't they call us that afternoon? The tech saw me take off the earrings and necklace because my mom has tremors. The office manager said they would make it right either way. They also agreed to start looking for replacements. But they haven't followed up with me or taken my calls. This is not cool and not safe for any customer. The incident happened on 2/4/2022. I filed a complaint with the attorney general, IDPR, and police.

They said they would send me a check, but I had to follow up on 4/24 because I still hadn't received it. They said they had internet problems and everything was delayed. I told them to send the check right away because it had already been six weeks. They said they would send it ASAP, but when I emailed them on 6/8, they still hadn't sent it. They said they would let me know when they had the check, but as of 6/11, I still haven't heard anything or received the check.

My kid got his wisdom teeth yanked out at Cameo Dental Specialists in River Forest back in December . They told me how much it would cost and what I'd have to pay out of pocket. I got both medical and dental insurance, which Cameo Dental took care of billing. They even gave me a refund for my out of pocket payment and any extra cash my insurance companies paid since I pay for two premiums. But then Cameo Dental said they had trouble billing Blue Cross Blue Shield 'cause BCBS wasn't accepting their business code. They said they tried a bunch of times, but I talked to BCBS and they said they didn't have a claim on file. Finally, Cameo Dental got their act together and got paid. But I've been trying to get my overpayment refunded since November . They finally gave me my out of pocket refund in November , but they still owe me and my insurance companies more money. I got proof of how much they owe me, but they won't give me any more info. Becky, the office manager, said she'd look into it, but that was back in October . They even got a discount from my insurance companies, but now they don't wanna give it back. If I'd done it myself, I would've gotten all my money back.
