UPS non delivery, based on falsehoods and incorrect information

Saturday September 21, 2019, I received a notice that I would receive a UPS package,
Tracking #: 1Z4080820350362517 from Kentucky. At about 1:30 pm I observed a UPS truck and driver on 3rd Avenue, in East Harlem, next to the laundromat on 118th Street and 3rd Avenue. The driver did not enter 118th Street, between 3rd and 2nd Avenue, where my building is. Did he handcarry packages around the corner onto 118th Street and then walk back to the truck? Or did he just walk in the block with the slips in his hand? Our building has security cameras which would show if he came with packages. On my outside door was a UPS slip for me and one for a neighbor saying that UPS couldn't gain entry and to go to the access center on Lexington Avenue for the package. UPS slip's time said 1:28 pm. It stated to wait an hour and then go to the access center, after the package was dropped off. The access center closed at 1:00 pm. It would not be possible for anyone to go to pick up a package from a closed building.
Furthermore, our building is one that both USPS and UPS can gain entry to. FedEx cannot., UPS and USPS can.
I called UPS # 800-742-5877 Saturday September 21, 3 times:

At 4:59 pm on 9/21 I received a call from UPS 770-557-3001, Atlanta Northeast, GA,
On one of the calls, I was told that the driver came to deliver the package the day before, Friday-I said that that was not possible as the package was in Secaucus NJ on Friday, Sept. 20th. I said several time that UPS has access to our building. Then I was told, oh, we just happened to see that you have to sign for the package. I asked why? That did not come up with the transaction with the shipper. A UPS rep said that the shipping was not paid for and I needed to sign for the package.
Now, I'd paid $16.60 to the shipper for priority 3 day shipping. The package left Kentucky Sept. 18 and reached Secaucus Sept. 20th. It was in NY Sept. 21 and should have been out for delivery. We know that the package did not end up in my lobby.
One of the UPS reps on Saturday swore that I'd get the package by the end of the day. That did not happen. Package then was scheduled for today, Monday, September 23rd. Early today I called the shipper in Kentucky. I explained what was going on. He felt it was a problem with the driver and not the internal workings of UPS. I questioned him about payment for shipping. His company uses UPS and all the bills come to him, Philip Weisenberger, of Weisenberger Mills, a company in business since 1865. The sudden need to sign didn't make sense to him. He told me that if I did not get the package by the end of today, Monday, Sept. 23, when Saturday's UPS reps promised it, when they couldn't get it completed for Saturday, 9/21.
Now, here's the amazing thing that happened today, Monday, September 23rd. One of Saturday's UPS reps said that I'd get the package by 11:00a.m. on Monday, September 23rd. Nothing happened. Between one oclock and 1:30 pm I see an email from UPS: Redelivery. We are changing the delivery from Sept, 23rd to a time that's more convenient on Tuesday Sept. 24th, at the request of the "Receiver"!
I had to think, who is the receiver? Oh, someone (who?) put it into the UPS system at between 1 and 1:30 that it wasn't convenient for me.I WAS WAITING HERE ALL DAY FOR THE PACKAGE! I didn't go to school today. Someone was playing games, pretending to have had a communication from me asking for the delivery to be changed from Monday to Tuesday. Where is the phone message? Where is the email? NO WHERE. Someone told an untruth. Now i'm to wait, once again, for Day #3, tomorrow Tuesday for the package. I am not getting paid for this. The aggravation is not good for my health either. The person who took the above actions with my package--I don't know what to say--it's pathetic. They're probably overworked and feeling miserable. Then there are all the stories I've been told that are listed above--pathetic-there's so much attitude. When delivering the package is made a power play, is that how you wish to be known, UPS?
By the way, today, Monday September 23rd I was on the phone again with UPS:
9/23/19: 1:33pm I spoke with cust. svc rep. for 23 minutes and then at 2:03pm to Eliza, Badge #: PZB6MLT for 50 minutes. She said a case is opened on this matter: 1-[protected]. Tomorrow I hope UPS does right and the package is delivered without my having to wait all day again. This must be a new driver, on this route or one or the good drivers having a challenging time.eliza also promised me that I'd see the package today, to no avail.

UPS driver

after 3 years of delivering to my house ups says my address is wrong they even sent a post card to me saying the address was wrong (see the irony here) so i put new numbers on my mailbox and a white board with my addess on the telephone pole in my driveway still they sent the package back then a week later they made a delivery to my house yay BUT this week again they say they cannot find my addresss so i call and give detailed directions and they promised it would be delivered the next BUT they did not even try they just sent it back

UPS package delivered to wrong house

My name is Teresa Sams. I am very dissatisfied with your delivery service. I received a delivery noticed yesterday from UPS. I did not find any package at my house. This morning, I checked at the empty house next door and found my package on the front porch. This is not the first time one of my packages was delivered to the wrong address. The address numbers for my house are bold and clear from the street so there is no excuse. I have enclosed the tracking and delivery information in the attached photos. I will use another package delivery service in the future if this happens again. Thank you for your time.

UPS delivery from ups zip 29325

In the past two months, my packages have been left at my neighbors house and sometimes it is day before he brings them over. For some reason your driver drives past my house and goes next door to drop off packages, All the packages have been sent from Macy's. I am missing a package right now and neighbor isn't home. Can you please straighten this out? I realize there is no UPS in Clinton, SC and whoever is available will drive through and drop off. Please and Thank you, Debra L Burnett

UPS driver

One of ur drivers has been coming through my neighborhood for over a week in town south here in natchitoches la going I know every bit of 45 and it's a residential area where the limit is posted 25 and even if it wasn't common sense would tell u better. When asked a couple of weeks ago he replied we're on a timer. Really that timer I pray don't get some1 r himself seriously injured.

UPS chocolate covered strawberries

Delivered 2 days late and inedible. Sat in UPS truck for 3 days in heat due to weather delay. My daughter lives in the area of the delay and did not have any weather complications. The strawberries arrived melted, rotted and a total loss. I believe we deserve better. Not sure who's fault but know I am very dissatisfied and disappointed. Will not use your company again.

UPS package delivery and customer service

A package was shipped (Next Day Air) on Friday (6 SEP) for delivery (9 SEP) with my passport and visa for an overseas business trip that is to occur on 13 SEP. The package status shows a pick up scan (Landover, MD), but nothing else. Numerous calls to Customer Service with no resolution. All I get is that an investigation has been started and it can take up to 8 days. One supervisor told me that there is no physical search until the package is over due by 5 days (which is totally unsatisfactory). Another told me that the Distribution Center would call me within the hour (did not happen). The communication is poor and customer service is abysmal. I will not ship any such documents with UPS in the future. I will now miss my business trip, be out of some money for the plane tickets, be out of the money for expediting the visa, and need a new visa & passport. Thank you UPS! Tracking #1ZV284R1NT97590384

UPS driver refused to take package

Our [censored]ty [censored] driver refused to take a package from my office for two days in a row now. He doesn't even ask if we have anything. He dropped off a box and took off. I said, "wait, there's a package here" to which he replied, " I have things to do." The worst customer service I've ever seen from a driver. His attitude sucks every day. I know lots of people who would love a job at UPS, why is this guy working here?

This happened on September 10th at 10AM. The address is 1900 Campus Commons Drive, Suite 100, Reston, VA 20191.

UPS driver too lazy to deliver.

On numerous occasions I and my family have requested products on line and not once have they been delivered to our address and the driver always has an excuse, "No one was home" 1. We are always home when expecting a package. 2. Why not leave it on the one of the three porches? 3. Why lie? When we order through Amazon same thing occurs after Amazon stating we deliver to your door. Well, they wish they could but UPS lies and states again as always, "No one was home". When will the lie stop? This has gone on for years. We do not reside at the Post Office. How may one rectify a lazy driver? It seems to me UPS is not a good choice for delivery for any business. So we call and they really swear on the phone it will be delivered. Q: Why wasn't it delivered the first time? A: As always, driver lies and too lazy to deliver. That's our story and we are sticking to it! UPS Is not a preferred carrier. S. Boothe

UPS ups delivery service

I wish when I make orders from Amazon or Ebay or any online shopping that I didn't have to use UPS. If I had a choice it would be FedEx all the way UPS in the St Louis County area is by far the slowest and very unreliable for delivery service. You use the tracking map, they have on there app and it's a in your area" are left 8 hours ago from the shipping store location but it still takes them 10 hours to get to you. The biggest problem it can be in your area from what the locator says and then, all of a sudden you get a notification saying do the weather the delivery will be shipped the next day, it is not raining or snowing these drivers are full of it and I'm fed up with it. I have cameras at my door and around the house they would throw your package and run right back to the truck not even knock. This is truly the worst delivery company I've dealt with and they didn't used to be this way.

UPS ups delivery of packages

Want to record a complaint about my UPS delivery today (Sep 5). My two packages (1z1av5760310330490 and 1z00928eyw45369809) were delivered to the wrong address at 4:06 pm today. I was home all day waiting for the packages to arrive because I didn't want them sitting outside. I just received the packages at 9:10 pm when my neighbor got home from work. My packages were sitting on his front porch for five hours where anyone could have stolen them.

Please make sure that your drivers actually deliver packages to the correct address printed on packages. Thank you.

UPS delivery standards

Everytime I have a package coming I get a email telling me what day my package will arrive an it's always wrong ...Tracking says processed then it says delayed or rescheduled. ..it's getting really fustrating as I do take days off so I can be home an then package doesn't show up ...Customer service never knows anything they are absolutely no help you maze well just delete them ...So I've come to realize UPS is a unorganized company an I'll never ship with them again ...Horrible customer support an service. Get ur sit together ups before you find yourself with no customers

UPS 3 day shipping

Second package in thirty days that has been delayed due to an issue on UPS. First one was scanned out for delivery and later that night scanned loaded on delivery vehicle. The one now is delayed to a late trailer. I specifically payed for 3 day shipping for 3 days, not ground shipping time frames. Now my son will be getting his birthday present 1-3 days(I hope) after his birthday. I called and asked for a reimbursement for the three day shipping and was told that could not happen. 90% of the things I order come from the same place and give the option of the sender. After this order I think I will take my business to USPS, they can make there delivery time frames.

UPS ups

I arrived at the UPS store located at 169 Mini Mall rd. Ebensburg, PA 15931 on August, 22nd. I was picking up the 4 packages that I paid $300 to ship from Apple Valley CA to the above location. I was told that the packages would be in Pittsburgh on August 19th. My 17 year old son is starting college at the University of Pittsburgh and I entrusted the shipment of all of his possessions to UPS.
Upon arrival the clerk at the desk told me that there were only 3 packages for me. I told her that I shipped 4 packages and she stated (very matter of fact) "well you only have 3 and you owe me $6." The biggest package that cost $110 had a huge hole in the side and clearly clothing had fallen out. I asked for help tracking the other large package and was told that I needed my tracking number. I was told "We are not responsible for your lost package the UPS store that sent the package is responsible." The clerk was very rude and the store was empty someone could have helped. No one cared and no one helped me. UPS is not about what location you shipped from. Every customer is a UPS customer and should be helped no matter what location we shipped from. That Package cost me $110. I called the Apple Valley branch and was given the tracking number and told that the package was in a UPS hub in New Stanton, PA. Still no help from the Mini Mall branch location and I was still at the branch at this point. I called UPS customer service and was lied to by Dam and told that the package was in transit. I asked for a refund for the package and for the package to be shipped to my son's school instead. I spoke to Jet the customer service manager. He told me that the package was lost. He said that I would have to put in a claim and that there was nothing else he could do. I wanted to cry. Thousands of dollars of my sons possessions are lost. He doesn't have much because I packed towels and things in the package that I received and all of his sneakers, tops, pants, coats, briefs, sweats etc. His entire life is in the other large package. UPS is responsible for this and for the terrible treatment I received. How could you lose a package of that size? You lose packages and you blame the consumer, make us do the work to figure out where packages are, charges are insane and when they are lost we get absolutely no help. Jet never even sent me the email for the claim. Poor customer service.
I cannot stress enough how extremely disappointed I am that the package holding everything my 17 year old son owned was stolen by a UPS employee. He has been at the University of Pittsburgh for almost two weeks with a couple of things to wear. I chose UPS instead of USPS because shipments are often lost or stolen with USPS. I trusted UPS. I paid an obseen amount of money to ship 4 packages and suspiciously one of the two largest packages never arrived at the destination. The large package that did arrive had a huge hole in the side. Just big enough for someone to put their entire arm inside and feel around for things. That package had towels, bedding and a few other items. The package that was stolen was the exact same size but had everything my son owned inside and it mysteriously did not make it to its destination. All 4 of the packages arrived at the UPS HUB in New Stanton, PA and only 3 packages made it out. Not sure how long it will take to receive the funds needed to replace the irreplaceable items.

UPS destroyed piece of furniture

I shipped two nightstands to a customer. One nightstand arrived fine the other nightstand was completely destroyed. UPS determined I didn't know how to package the furniture and denied the claim on the piece they destroyed. I have never been treated so poorly. UPS literally does not care about a claim. They get to determine if you package a piece properly. I ship dozens of pieces a week and I have never had this issue until I shipped with UPS for the first time. I am out the cost of the table they destroyed, shipping it to my customer, rebuilding the piece and shipping it again.

I ordered expensive face lotion and cream which, to my dismay, was delivered damaged by UPS. Upon opening the box, the cream was everywhere. Upon calling UPS to inquire, a person by the name of James told me to order another one and get over it. He then proceeded to hang up on me. I want my money back and I want a replacement face lotion sent to me, undamaged this time.

UPS product not delivered as claimed

On approximately August 21, 2019 UPS attempted to deliver a package but I was not there to receive it. I got an email from them saying an attempt would be made the following day. I decided to contact them to say please just leave it at the door as I would again not be home to receive it. On the phone, they changed their story. They said, in contradiction to the email I'd already received, that they would NOT be making a second attempt to deliver. They told me it was at the discression of the driver to decide to not make a second attempt. I think this is very wrong because I got an email saying a second attempt would be made. They decided to instead send it to a pick up center of THEIR choice, without ever even clearing it's location with me. They said they'd already sent it to their choice of location, which happened to be a place I couldn't get to. Again, I think this is very wrong. The customer may have travel limitations or other reasons why they couldn't get to a certain pickup center. Therefore, I don't think UPS has any business deciding without ever asking the customer, and delivering the customer's item to some random pickup location. I was so disgusted I canceled the order and made them return it. Never using UPS again.

UPS Tracking number -  1z1806890377642182

I just got off the phone with a very rude customer service employee.

I called this morning to complain that the address on this shipment was changed. It was not changed by the shipper.

The notes that the ups driver put down even said that the address was changed. Why?

The address on the package when it was shipped was correct - 26 west street, 6th fl, boston ma 02111. The ups driver, for some reason noted that he 'could not find the address". Well, that was because the address was changed from the original address.

I was told someone would contact me from your"customer service department"to discuss this. I was out to lunch and missed the call.
I called the number back, 1-617-269-1821, and got a very rude customer service female on the phone. She proceeded to 'read off' the same info that I was told earlier when I called to discuss why the shipment was returned.

The person at this number proceeded to interrupt me several times, and would not answer my question, as to why she was repeating the same info I was told earlier. I informed her I thought she had called to resolve the issue, not repeat the issue. Apparently, this was not the case.

This was a very important shipment. We have shipped to this same address - 26 west street, 6 flr in boston ma on several occasions. Why was the address changed? I even confirmed with the shipper that the address was correct when the package was shipped. These were business cards coming from our printer.

Can you please look into why I was so rudely spoken to. Furthermore, the female at this number (1-617-269-1821) went so far as to tell me that she 'did not work for ups".

We will be re-shipping the package again to 26 west st., 6 fl, boston, ma 02111. Please do notcharge our account for this unbelievable screw up by ups!

Please reprimand your customer service "employee" at the number: 1-617-269-1821. She should not be representing ups in any form or fashion.
