Something is seriously wrong with this company and I am not sure how they operate anywhere. Upon reviewing the terms of a friends loan as well as the payoff information provided by this so-called business, I noticed a few irregularities. First using data provided by UAC, I computed the monthly payment for the loan using an auto loan calculator from a reputable bank. UAC's figure was a couple dollars higher, so I used several other calculators and every single one produced the same figure as the initial bank calculator. While doing this I decided to run an amortization chart for the loan, and oddly the payoff quoted by UAC was substantially higher than the figure on the amortization chart.

This is where the true colors of a shady business organization begin to show through. I called UAC asked about the payment, I was told: I'll have to look into that as well as...well, I can't do anything about that because the car owner agreed to pay that amount on the contract. I asked the customer no-service rep., How many people carry auto loan calculators with them when signing for a car? With that said I asked about the payoff, . And I got a lot of ... I'm not sure, I'll order an amortization and have it sent to you. Oh yeah right...(I didn't just fall off the turnip truck bud. )

After waiting a week, I didn't receive anything in the mail, so I called back. The same customer no-service rep says:...you didn't get anything? I said No, that is why I'm calling. He says he will order the amortization chart again. Fine. I asked what did you find out about the payment info I asked you to look into. Ah...hmmm hawwww...I dropped the ball on that, I asked are you going to pick it up, or is there someone else I should speak to? No I'll get back on it. (I didn't hold my breath!)

One week later, I still had not received any paperwork. I called again, this time the customer no-service rep isn't in and someone else answers the phone. I explain I have talked to Mr. X twice over the course of the last 3 weeks regarding an amortization chart for this loan, I explained I was told I would receive it in the mail and I still don't have it. Whoa, this woman goes off, saying we do not have those. I explained, Mr. X said he had to order it, and she repeats, we do not have those. Then she start going off on me saying I need to lose the attitude, she doesn't have to talk to me and she can end this phone call right now. I told her calmly twice I do not have an attitude and she starts all over again. I asked her if she was Mr. X's boss. Yes, she is and then off she goes again. (I think I struck a nerve.) She told me she could give me the payment information and that was it, I opted for the long pause...and said interesting...Thank you ...
And then I hear "Click"
Wow what a shrilly-raging unhappy woman, glad I don't live near her!

Well let me tell you if you are out looking for an auto loan, do not and I repeat do not use this "so-called business." From my experience, you need to take an accountant with you when you sign your loan, because, if it is calculated incorrectly in their favor, you are on the hook and they will pocket the overage. Their personnel are unprofessional, immature and obviously have anger issues most likely because they are not trained, have substandard tools to work with or a just plain lousy employees.
Pathetic. Making money off people in what appears to be highly inappropriate tactics if not illegal practices. I will get in touch with the Attorney General Office in my state.

I recommend if you are in a loan with these leaches, get an accountant or other financial professional to look at your loan, calculate your monthly payment, request a pay off report that shows when payments were applied and how they were applied.
If your accountant thinks something is fishy, file a complaint with the better business bureau as well as your State's Attorney Generals office.

I purchased a car through Suzuki of Escondido in Escondido, CA

I have a chapter 13 Bankgtrupcy that is paid off and will be discharged within the next several weeks.

Suzuki of Escondido pay off my remaining balance from my old car which was $2480.00

However, I need to get another car so, because this old car was causing me problems., On July 28, 2008 I went into Suzuki of Escondido and they allowed me to purchase a new 2008 Suzuki sports 4x sports. The finance person search for several lenders. The first lender was to high in interest but, the second company which is United Auto Credit Corporation was lower.

I knew nothing about this company. My first payment was due on August 28, 2008 and was paid on time. As early as 10 days before the due date. September 28, paid on time October 28, 2008 paid on time. I started receiving phone calls from the United Auto Credit office located on 4715 viewridge ave ste 150 san diego, ca. 92123 phone number is [protected].

I was at home on using some vacation time when the phone rung and I answer and this guy said, did you pay your loan. As a matter of fact I informed him that my paid was sent 9 days early he said, oh, yes that's right and ask him what is he looking at he said none of your business and hung up.

My caller ID allowed me to call him right back by * 69 he was very arude and hung up again. Every week United Auto Credit Corporation calls my home and hangs up. Today is November 12, 2008 United auto called my job for no reason. November payment is not due until November 28, 2008. The lady on the phone was full of ###! oh I am just calling to do a survey for United Auto Credit Corporation. I informed her this is my job and I don't owe you any money until my due date and I can not figure out why you called my job and not my home. She said, this is a survery. Did you purchase the car a suzuki 2008 sports I said, yes, Is the car still running I told her why would it not be running and Please lady don't call me back. However, This is fifth phone call concerning United Auto Credit Corporation. I feel, harrassed and I don't understand why? I am timely with payments and I don't understand why I am being harrased with these bull ### calls. I have the proof that I am timely. But, when you ask them why they are calling oh, its a mistake or its a survey. I am very angry at Suzuki of Escondido, I would rather be turn down from a lender than to be harrassed for no reason at all. What can I do about this company.?

I purchased my car from a small lot in the city i worked in, about 50 miles from my home.I was given a contract with the monthly payment of 276.00 per month and when asked, i was told this was not one of those "pay on the lot" loans. The man said some cars are sold like that but they had used all the funds allowed for that type of loan.A week later when i brought my 600.00 down payment and was ready to drive off the lot the salesman handed me a piece of paper saying i could either mail my 276.00 payment or deliver it to Auto Credit of Greenville. The NIGHTMARE begins now. Auto Credit informs me that i am to pay them weekly, I get paid every two weeks! On the 8th day of every week they call friends, family.work constantly! They have discussed my loan with my husband who is not on the loan even though i've told them not to(he has nerve problems)They called my daughters phone and told her i was scheduled for pick-up, she left her new job because she thought something was seriously wrong. They have called my work (1st shift always)and been very rude even though i've told them we can't get personal and that i work 2ND SHIFT for the 800th time. They called today and demanded i be there by 4:30.Now see if anyone ealse can see whats wrong with this.RIGHT, I WORK WHAT SHIFT? And we don't get our checks until after I start my shift. However they are open on saturdays and have a drop box at the front door. You cant pay them with cash at the office and get a reciept-you have to go down the road and pay for m.o. OH, and you'll love this. My last episode with them was when they humiliated me again and discussed personal business with everybody they made contact with and told everyone they were coming to get the car.AND you wont believe this. It was all over a $50.00 check they lost in there office. They claim they never got it and the check was in the same envelope as the M.O. Now they are hounding us to write another one and have never even said "sorry" I told them to run security tape? Only going to rewrite check if they put in writting that they will take care of all fees in case check is later deposited. My other big issue with them is that there have been three months with 5 weeks i had to pay an extra 68.oo.WHY and HOW can they continue to do this. I am really ready to drive myself into a tree, These people are so ignorant, unprofessional and rude l cant possible continue this way for 16 more months.Every week i am told something different by someone different about my account. Not one of them has been able to clearly explain any question i have because they have no background in finance or the laws concerning collection /privacy regulations.YOU ARE JUST STUCK IN AUTO CREDIT HE_ _.
Cant take anymore---please learn from my mistake.

My husband was recently in a car accident and ended up with a back injury that required him to be on short term disability. Up until this point all payments have been made on time, but since the accident the payments have been made shortly after their due date. UACC employees have continued to call and harass even though the situation has been explained to them. The know that they receive their payments along with any late fees, but continue to threaten repossessing the vehicle because the payments are a couple of days late. This is very stressful on top of a injury. I wish I had never dealt with these people.

I purchased a car 3 years ago that was financed through united auto credit.I since have had suspicions that my figures didnt add up(in which im sure they dont). They also harass the h3ll out of me, call my job, friends, anyone on my refrence list. I have been late one time in 3 years and receive phone calls every month regarding my account being late.I would advise anyone who needs financing (not to let them service you). The customer service reps are 25%nasty attitude and add another 25% for being unknowledgeable of what they are even calling for.Ive had a rep call me 4 times last week about a payment i mailed off 13 days ago, but the funny part is that before his 3rd call i called the office myself and they informed me they had received the payment and it posted on the 9th.Thats funny because i receve a call from this rep on the 10th and 12th.
