Ubisoft I am not satisfied with the service being provided.

I recently purchased Assassins creed odyssey on steam on the 6th of April 2024. Unfortunately unlike almost all over games on steam this requires me to launch an additional launcher to run the game and this launcher needs to be logged into with my Ubisoft account.

The problem is that I do not know my Ubisoft password. I decided to click on the forget password option and have a recovery email sent to my email address.

It has been 24hrs since I requested this recovery email and I have tried multiple times. Not a single email has been received. I have checked my Spam/Junk folders and have performed a global search across all folder's for any Ubisoft emails and there is none.

I can log into my Ubisoft account using a web browser becuase Ubisoft's website allows me to log in with my Xbox account which is linked the same account. I have confirmed that the email address on my Ubisoft account is correct and up to date. I have checked to see if I can find the recovery emails using Microsoft's web based Outlook portal as this is an Outlook email address and still cannot find the recovery emails.

I have submitted a support request ticket on Ubisoft's website "Ubisoft Case Number: [protected]" however when I go to look at my active tickets there are none listed at all and I never received any kind of email confirmation that one was raised.

This is becoming beyond a joke now. I don't think I remember ever experiencing such a poor level of customer service in my life. Ubisoft doesnt even have a live chat feature or even a phone number to contact support so I'm pretty much stuck.

They seemingly have taken my money and have no interest in ensuring I can play the product I have purchased. This is a level of customer service bordering on contempt and I think I finally understand what Ubisoft's director of subscriptions, Phillipe Tremblay meant when he said "Gamers need to get comfortable with not owning games".

If this is what the future of gaming looks like and what a lack of ownership really means then I I'm afraid I will certainly never be buying a Ubisoft product ever again, and I will certainly be advising anyone who will listen to follow my example.

Ubisoft Rainbow six siege

i was playing the game when i received a permanent ban for cheating, this surprised me as i have not cheated or downloaded any software onto my device for the benefit on rainbow six siege. this is very concerning and have only been playing for around a month. the account name is i5ach. this happened on the 27th of march at around 8pm

i have no correlation with cheating or hacking and this is greatly concerning.

Claimed loss: my account has been permanently banned, loosing money i have spent on the game(around £20)

Ubisoft Broken game called Risk

The game of Risk on Nintendo Switch is the most broken unjustly game of all time. The CPUs would jeopordise themselves just to force one CPU to win and on top of unfair team ups against you the human player, the dices are rigged. I had several times when I had 10 troops and the CPU had only two troops because they thin themselves out, and THEY WIN! A CPU once attacked my 13 troops country with 10 troops, and still won. This is the most rage hating game on Nintendo. This is unfortunate because Nintendo is usually good with their games and services. Like Mario Kart for example, one of the most broken Nintendo games is actually very good because of the games' infinite outcomes. But for Risk, it's unfairly broken and unjust since in the game, YOU ARE ALWAYS THE LOSER. And I am a player from Getting over it with Bennett Foddy, and that excruciating hard game is pretty enjoyable! With that in mind, you can easily tell how unfair Risk is compared to other difficult games.

Ubisoft Skull and bones

Preordered Special Edition Skull & Bones which came with a DLC code to redeem from the ubisoft redeem website and instructions on how to redeem it. I followed these instructions exactle and was met with an error code. Started a support ticket that same day.

Didnt recieve any response from support so returned to the store of purchase and explained the issue. staff gave me another code to try on the chance the problem was the code. Tried the new code and recieved the same error so its an issue with Ubisoft it seems.

Updated the support ticket that same day with this new information.

Its now been over two weeks and i STILL havent recieved any response from Ubisoft Support. I have now found their support email and contacted them DIRECTLY through this email in the hopes they actually bother to respond and help though im not hopeful given their track record. Probably won't buy anything developed by Ubisoft again as even though i enjjoy the game franchises i dont trust Ubisoft to deliver an appropriately functional game for the price you pay.

Ubisoft Rainbow six siege

My game was wrongly banned in November 2022 and I was not informed of the reason for the ban but my game account was temporarily banned and I was not informed of the reason by Ubisoft's official customer service while I was appealing the ban, I believe it was a malicious ban and I had added $50 to the game the day before the ban. I did not cheat because I did not receive any warnings from the BattleEye Anti-cheat program.I didn't cheat because I didn't receive a warning from BattleEye Anti-Cheat.

I'm sure I'm innocent and I've been appealing for my account for the duration of this ban, but they won't do it for me and it's been very upsetting for me for almost two years now and I haven't given up on my account, it's like my life, I've been suffering from mild depression and anxiety because of this and I often hallucinate that my account has been unblocked and I won't give up on it, I'm begging for you to help me get my ban lifted.I'm asking you to help me get unblocked.I'm not suffering from mental anguish.

I've spent upwards of $600 on this game and these skins are like the real thing to me.

Ubisoft Rainbow six Siege

When I made the purchase, one of the key features that influenced my decision was the Player vs Environment (PVE) mode (Terrorist Hunt). PVE mode was explicitly advertised and was a significant factor in my decision to buy the game.

However, I recently discovered that the PVE mode has been removed from the game without any prior consultation or notification to the players. This change has significantly impacted my gaming experience and is not what I had paid for.

Ubisoft account

You told me to change my password for security reasons and to do so you asked for my email address which I gave you and you said you had sent me an email over 40 times now over the las 9 days and not once have you sent me an email. If you dont sort this out I will take legal action against you as you are blocking access to my account and the thousand or so pounds I have spent on games in this account. your support system is so bad that all you can do is request a new password and wait for the email you never send and to contact you you must sign into your account that you have locked me out of until you send me an email that you never send. with no way to contact you unless you sign into your account that you have already locked me out of until you send me the email you never send.and thats how it goes with no other action available.

Ubisoft Contacting Ubisoft fraud department

I've tried every which Way but loose to try to get a hold of you people about a person saying they represent your company trying to get me to give them money through cash app to supposedly receive $5,000 from your company I have multiple texts that I could forward to you if I had that option but since you don't even have a phone number that works I find it difficult to believe you would receive it you can contact me via email at [protected]@yahoo.com or call me at [protected]

Ubisoft Difficult getting in touch with anyone.

I opened a case trying to resolve the fact that i kept getting charged even after canceling my subscription. a subscription we were not using. I can not get in touch with anyone because the website keeps taking me around in circles and does not give any answers. I am starting to think it is done this way to get people so frustrated they give up. i can no longer get the account to show up on anything and have not been contacted in any way.

Ubisoft AC Mirage

I have paid for Mirage and it will not open past the cloud check. I have tried through the usual help system but it wants files or won't continue so I have no idea how to do that. I am 91 years old and do not hear well on the phone

especially with foreign accents. I have downloaded it 3 times, checked the files each time, the firewall is not blocking it. have 200Gb of free space etc. I am the

authorised user but nothing changes. Using Windows 10. Have played five different AC games without trouble. Telephoned and offices closed, try later!

I paid my money but two weeks on I have nothing to show for it but an awful lot

of aggravation.

Ubisoft Customer support

I wanted my email to my account change since the current email has a typo making it where the email can't even exist for my case it has outlook.con but it was supposed to be outlook.com and I contacted their customer support and they respond and I provided what they wanted and it been 2 weeks and they still won't change the email so I can't play any game due to because I have to verify the email but the email can't even work or exist.

Desired outcome: I want my email to change to the one I want so I can play the games that I bought.

Ubisoft Costumer service

I try several times to change my address unusefully, tried to contact Ubisoft, no phone number, AI help was useless, and mail notification still waiting after almost a month!. In the end they send the game to the wrong address, I'm trying to have a refund. I'll never buy again from Ubisoft what a joke!

Ubisoft Inability to make address changes on purchases

I purchased the collectors edition of Assassins Creed Mirage. This is the first time that I've ordered from Ubisoft directly for physical products. I placed the order in November of 2022. I had a last minute move happen in March of 2023 that moved me across state lines. I reached out to support in May to change the address on the order but was told that there was no way to change an order across state lines, so I asked them to change the address to someone just a city away. I also told them I would be happy to pay for any adjusted shipping costs. They refused, saying it was against their policy to allow any changes at all. Several months later, on 9/19, there was an email sent out by Ubisoft saying that if an address change was needed, to contact them by 9/21. I reached out on the 19th, but Ubisoft support didn't respond until the 22nd saying that I needed to verify my account. It should be noted that I have had the account for 6 years and verified it many many times over the years, including when I reached out to support in May. I verified the account and then got a response on the 26th that the window to update addresses had already passed and if I wanted my $165 product, I needed to "hope to catch the courier". This is absolutely unacceptable. I reached out well before the deadline twice and was toyed with until it was made impossible to change. This is, without a doubt, the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Ubisoft should be ashamed of themselves. I can and will provide case numbers and transcripts with timestamps, if requested.

Desired outcome: I would like to have my product delivered to my current address, and have the change have no cost to me. I am not asking for anything free, I simply want what I already paid for.

Ubisoft Scammer

Good Morning;

I’m in dire straits, 23 months ago I was contacted by a Ubisoft representative who has SCAMMED me out of $155,000. This past weekend he stole my grand dghts college money ($1380.15) that I was holding so she wouldn’t spend. Now she faces being kicked out of school for non payment. He refuses to return her money, only if I pay more money will he return her money. I want nothing to do with this gentleman or his company, but I need some from corporate who looks over your franchise’s to reach out to me, so that I can get her money back ASAP.

And I bet you they still haven't contacted you my suggestion is you contact the attorney general and better Business bureau in your state it's ridiculous that Ubisoft does not have a system in place to contact them directly especially in the case of fraud

Ubisoft Rainbow Six Siege

I was playing quick play (formerly Casual) and randomly got banned. They said i was cheating and I can't play R6 ever again. Please help. I was banned on July 28th so hopefully Ubisoft will get some common sense and update their Anti cheat. The website says I need 350 characters Minimum for my complaint to be recognized and noticed by an agent so I'm just yapping.

Desired outcome: Unban me!!!

Ubisoft Ubisoft Connect

Account suspended for no reason, I can only access by "resetting password". However I NEVER GET AN EMAIL from Ubisoft, after MANY MANY MANY attempts. I also had no luck contacting Ubisoft themselves after many attempts through multiple avenues. This application has gone downhill and beyond that is now plain out unusable for many. Add the companies incompetency to bad business decisions and its no wonder all game devs move platforms eventually.

Desired outcome: Add a working help line to Ubisoft, stop suspending accounts without reason & allow account recoverability (recovery emails would have to actually send...) Or alternatively dissolution of the company.

Ubisoft Ubisoft support and discord administrator community

AC Valhalla game started randomly crashing with no errors. My PC far exceeds the required hardware/software to be able to run at maximum settings. Reached out to the Ubisoft Discord. Found out that this is impacting a lot of players. I opened a chat with the support channel in the Discord. Ubisoft Admins only provided default steps. These default steps can all be found online with minimal research since the issue of the crashes is well known and documented. I still conducted all of the steps provided and reported to Ubisoft Admins that none of the steps provided a solution to fix the issue. In the meantime, I am finding continued reports from other players encountering the same issue. I and other players are expressing frustration on the Discord channels because there is no clear explanation as to why this is happening. Neither are the Discord Admins plainly explaining that they do not know what the issue is either. I was directed to create a support ticket on the Ubisoft website (see screenshot attachments of the ticket and conversation). Ticket was created 24JUN2023. I explain the issue in the ticket. I get the exact same response from Support as I did from Discord Admin to conduct default troubleshooting steps. I complete the steps and provide the files that are asked for. Approximately a week goes by. I get frustrated with the lack of communication and support. Finally, I get a different support person responding in the same ticket with the exact same time-wasting troubleshooting steps as the last support person. Now I am just angry with the lack of knowledge or plain consideration by a very large company. I am being given the run around. But I do again what is asked and provide the files. During this span of time from creating the ticket and providing the information to Ubisoft I have been testing the game to determine if it is still crashing. It is still crashing. The game is at a point that it crashes during a cutscene and will not get past the cutscene every 2-3 minutes. It is unplayable at this time. Based on the game milestones I am less than halfway through the main story line. That is half of the product I paid for that is unable to be used. Since I am getting no traction with support, I implore the Ubisoft Discord Admins and representatives to please do something to help the community and myself get a resolution. Even if it means that they simply provide us with a response telling us that they do not know what the issue is and that they do not have an estimated time of completion to a solution. I am also responding to the players in Discord that are complaining about both the issue and lack of support providing them with the truth that Ubisoft website support is a joke and will give them the run around. During this time whenever I respond to another player or multiple players about the consistent lack of support to help paying customers I am @'ing the Ubisoft Discord Admin that is being mentioned in that thread and/or is the Administrator for that thread. I also start expressing my distrust of Ubisoft and making it very clear that they are scamming their player base and that players should start entering complaints in Consumer Reports and Better Business Bureau. I also let Ubisoft know that their lack of responses to the issue of the game crashes will be shared by me in other platforms. Only then, when I make enough noise on the Discord threads is when they start to take offense and notice. They don't address the real issue, instead they ban me from the Ubisoft Discord support and provide the reasoning that I spammed their Admins and that my "tone" was aggressive. So yeah, when someone steals money out my pocket when I am looking and then I call them out because of it, I guess from a thief's perspective, that would be aggressive. Searching online it is very clear that I am not the only other person who has experienced problems like this with large gaming companies. Especially with Ubisoft. Ubisoft is a thieving corporate entity and does not care about the products that they develop. All they care about is that the product gets off the shelf. They lie to their player base to get the sales knowing that they have provided a product that is false in its completion.

Desired outcome: Legal actions should be taken against Ubisoft for software liability. -The software vendor had a duty to provide functioning software to the user-The software did not perform as promised-The user suffered financial harm

Ubisoft Never answers support emails

I send Ubisoft 3 different types of emails they never got back to me its been 1-2 weeks and I urgently need to talk to them about my Ubisoft account or i will lose it they never answer its annoying. I put the wrong email on my account and i cannot access it all i need Ubisoft to do is verify i own the account and then let me change it they can do this by using my phone number to send a verification code because the account has my phone number connected to it i urgently need this done and would really appreciate it they could actually answer they support lines like a company should do.

First im sorry for this HUGE pasted conversation but you need to know the entire suject to understand the situation

= = Introduction = =

Issue discussed and request resolving of that big issue are :

Ubisoft Connect has detected an unrecoverable error and must shut down.

The launcher have only one problem when you write something in E-Mail the launcher crash then you are obligated to past you email on it and write your password not crashing before that that not happening maybe they made it intentionaly idk

But that issue:

Are not caused by the launcher itself the launcher not causing that error poping up, this error message are already in the launcher code but can be caused by many issue but my investigation proof that error happear because trying to acces a TLS 1.2 protocol they closed Server side that protocol are need to sync the account if we have not answer or not acces because they closed it or something like that we have this :

"Missing Authorization ticket"

And Launcher give that error : Ubisoft Connect has detected an unrecoverable error and must shut down.

A pannel with only a OK button and if you clic on it launcher crash, but if you not clicking on it you can still play the game your playing without problem if you return in the launcher by ignioring the error message the launcher are freezed and can't be unfreazed obligated to clic OK and restart it

Hello, I downloaded rainbow 6 siege off of steam around a month ago and installed Ubisoft connect to run the game. Everything was fine I played with no issues. Then one day I tried to log on and open Ubisoft connect. it then said connection issue. A Ubisoft server is currently unavailable please try again later, so I tried again the next day, and the next, day and so on. This issue wont resolve and I want to play the game I PAYED FOR!

Desired outcome: Please help me log into ubisoft connect on pc
