Good day to you. I was at the Cavendish Branch and order 2 x coats. I did not receive any confirmation of the arrival of the coats (@ R999). My account was in credit of -R640. As at beginning Aug my account was credited with R999, I assume for 1 x coat. I did not receive the 2nd coat.
I tried call this branch - the telephone has not been working all of August month. I went to the store - but no one seem to be able to assist - and I was promised that I would be contacted today. Not sure how as the telephones (apparently) don't work. I refuse to pay for something I did not receive.
Please can someone contact me and let me know what the heck is going on. My contact number is [protected].

I have notice in my statement for the past months I have been paying R1060.00 and I have queried this matter with no clear explanation on the calculation. my account is on 12 months basis. I just want a clarification of how you calculate the instalment. as the last time I followed up they told me the R1060 was calculated on the highest amount which I am not sure which month was that.
my understanding was the instalment is calculated monthly based on the amount owing. please advise

Bad service
I went to Truworths Keywest on the 12/08/2023 @ 14:44:32, the main reason I went there was yo fetch my online order. Well, the cashier who helped me just was not interested in helping me. She brought the order and was not keen on checking with me that I was happy with my order until I told her I wanted to check if my order and sizes were correct. I opened the plastic bag and she just left me at the counter without giving me a new plastic bag, I then asked her if she can give me a bag, it felt as if I irritated her, she threw a bag on a counter and left me packing those clothes. I was a bit shocked of the way things turned out. I have never experienced such a bad treatment/service before. Guess it was not my day...

Leather Jacket
I bought a jacket on my account on the 21st of June 2023 at Brits mall Truworths. It cost R700, the stitching came loose. No problem must be a factory mistake. I love my clothes from Truworths. I have been contacting customer service for two weeks and getting nowhere. I need help getting the statement from my account so we can fix this. Its not a hard job. Thinking of closing my account at this point.

Called in to customer service dept on [protected] this morning to query something on my statement, call centre agent was rude when I was trying to explain my query and says I do not listen! This is the other way around as she did not once listen what I was trying to explain. This was a 10 minutes fruitless exercise and a waist of my time, I am also still waiting for a call centre supervisor to call me back as was promised and even confirmed my cell number? If this is the way their customers get treated I will rather close my account with this institution once settled.
Very sad that customers get treated this way and will be sure to voice my concerns to everyone I know and advise people not to use Truworths and rather support another supplier that actually value their customers.
Desired outcome: That someone can actually contact me to clear/assist my query with regards to my statement!!!!
MAC squirt plumping gloss stick "Amped"
I ordered the amped MAC squirt plumping lip glass online on the 21st of July 2023. The item arrived timeously on the 24th of July. Unfortunately the stick was nearly empty when I received it and it what meager amount of product was left was gone in a week. I use a lot of MAC products and they generally last for quite a while. I have never even encountered even a generic lip ice (or even Vaseline!) Where the product runs out so quickly. I am very unhappy with this experience.
Desired outcome: Replacement product preferably, alternatively a refund.

They refusing with refund and in their TnCs they said if you changed your mind or not happy their product they will fully refund you without challenges nor hassles

An individual purchased an item from your store. It was given to me as a gift without the receipt. Unfortunately the item purchased did not fit and I tried to exchange it but was unsuccessful. I was told to bring in the receipt in order for an exchange to occur. When asking the individual for the receipt he said he had misplaced it and could not find it. I asked the individual at the store if I could receive a gift card for the amount of the item instead of giving me cash. They said they were unable to assist me because I did not have a receipt and item bought was purchased with cash and not card or on account. They were not assisting at all and said that there was nothing they could do in order to help me. I had told him the date of purchase and told them to please try to pick it up on the system. But still they were unable to assist me because it was a cash sale. I am very disappointed with the stores assistance and refusal to help me for an item I cannot use. I was happy to take the gift card and purchase something from the store that I was able to use but walked away disappointed. Please assist I am not asking for the money but rather for a chance to swap the item or be given a gift card. Thank you

Unallocated payment
I have made an eft payment of R310 which is my monthly installment on the 21 June 2023 before installment due date, using my ID number as my reference as I didnt know my acc number by then due to the fact that I was denied a store card by Truworths Mams Mall where my account was opened. Their reason being that I had a Truworths account years ago that I have paid off and I can't get a new card. I have emailed a proof of payment 2 times /made numerous calls and they have acknowledged the payment was received and they will ask their finance department to allocate the into my opened account as it has been allocated into my old closed account. Until today 11Jul 2023, the payment hasn't been allocated. This has now affected my credit profile/score and they are now demanding a payment of R620 to be done this month end. My request is for Truworths to allocate the eft payment I have made to [protected] and instruct ITC/Compuscam/XDS/etc to rectify the payment behavior on their system... Lucas M.
Account fraudulently opened on my name

I have an offial complaint I would like to be investigated and resolved.
My name is Natasha Pillay and an account was opened fraudulently on my name. I have spoken to an agent(Lareese) in 2019 about this and sent an affidavit for this to be cleared from my name as I did not open the account.
It has come to my knowledge that the account is still listed on my name at The Credit Bureau and has not been cleared, can this be sorted out for good as this is affecting my credit report, credit score and credit reference.

I visited Truworths Cresta on the 3 of July to exchange an item. Cashiers are really rude. The lady who authorizes the transaction greeted friendly. But the two lady cashiers where dreadful. The initially appeared uncertain as to help me. The short small lady did not even try to explain if she can help. Eventually the lady at till 7 helped. She was not enthusiastic at all and she only spoke to me to say where I should sign. I found the whole experience quite appalling. It appears that the cashiers at Truworths are not thankful for any clientele. In fact they see it as quite the bother. I don't know if it simply is because it was 16:00. But really. They slso laughed and joked happily in their own language.
Desired outcome: Fix your staff. Employees should be comfortable dealing with diverse clients.
Sale items and the ridiculous policy
Dear Truworths,
I am writing to inform you of a deeply frustrating experience I had at one of your stores. I had ordered 2 items from your fashion delivery service and was required to purchase the items and await their arrival. However, when the items arrived, they were on sale.
When I went to the store to pick up the items, I asked the cashier to return them and recredit my account. However, I was told that due to company policy, I could not purchase the sale items. Instead, the cashier advised that the items have to go back on the floor and I was expected to walk to the floor and fetch them myself and back in line if I wanted to purchase them.
To make matters worse, when I asked to speak with the manager, he was not helpful in resolving this issue. In fact, he was condescending in his interactions with me.
Upon further investigation, I discovered that the company policy does not actually stipulate that customers cannot repurchase sale items. This made my experience even more frustrating, as it seemed that the staff at the store were not properly trained on their own policies.
This experience highlighted the critical importance of good customer service. Customers expect delivery to be easy and effortless, and policies should be designed with this in mind. In my case, the miscommunication about the policy of not being able to purchase sale items after returning them made my experience more difficult and frustrating.
Furthermore, it’s essential for staff to be trained in how to interact with customers in a respectful and helpful manner. In my case, the manager’s condescending attitude only added to my frustration.
In these times when our economy is low and companies need consumers to purchase, it is even more important for businesses like Truworths to provide excellent customer service. By doing so, you can build trust and loyalty with your customers and encourage them to continue shopping at your stores.
I hope that by sharing my story, Truworths will take immediate action to review its policies and customer service training to ensure that customers are able to have a positive experience at their stores.

Staff members racially profiling customers
I visited Truworths Clear Water mall in Johoannesburg to purchase some items of clothing on 23Jun23 at around 1400hrs. However my purchase was declined by the staff who kept on asking me to verify my details of which I did and they declined to serve me. No other clinets in the queue were profiled in this manner. My account has been rendered inactive and I can no longer make purchases . I am extemely disappointed by the way the staff at Clear Water Mall treated me and subsequently blocked my account.
Is Truworths in the business of racially profiling customers? As we speak I have just been declined another purchase at Truworths even though my account is full paid up and is not in arrears.

Fraud activity on my account
I lodged a complaint with the fraud department as someone purchased clothes worth R5800 at Springs mall using my account. I don’t even know where Springs mall is i only saw on the statement. When i make follow ups they tell me they are still investigating in the mean time they expect me to pay full monthly instalment. How can i pay for clothes that i have not purchased? Who authorised that sale? Kindly assist

I went to purchase Este Lauder foundation today at your branch at Greenstone Mall in Edenvale, Gauteng. There was NO CASHIER to help me. The lady that hangs around the shop, could only give me the product that I wanted, but could not work the till. This was 11:20 Tuesday the 27th of June 2023. The assistant did try and phone someone to come and assist me, since the person that was supposed to be there "went out quickly."
I waited for a while and then left the foundation at the till and walked out. I am absolutely disgusted in the service.
Desired outcome: Train your staff properly, and ensure that they are on duty all the time, and not just when they feel like it.
Faulty cell phone
On the 4th of March I purchased a Samsung A23, After downloading /transferring my information/apps I noticed that the phone got extremely slow, freezing constantly, the battery was heating up and much more.
On the 05th of June I took the phone to the pavilion branch, the consultant advised me to remove all my apps/information from the phone, I then proceeded to the chatsworth branch after erasing in info.
On all of the documents that I have signed and as per the CPA it stipulates that the consumer has the option of receiving a new device or a refund.
However truworths has taken it upon themself to replace my phone. The customer service is terrible, I sent an e-mail to [protected]@truworths.co.za last week.
To date I have no feedback.

Harassment from Truworths consultants
Good day, my complaint is about my Tuworths account which was R25 or R26 owing for more than a month. I didn't go an pay it because it was not that much and I would have gone and settled as soon as I was in town again.
The constant calls the rude consultant, some saying why don't you go and pay your account on a Saturday morning as early as 7h00 in the morning. for R26...
The volume of c, this happened about 3 weeks ago on a Saturday morning, all that for an amount owing for R26 was insane. So bad that I am seriously thinking about closing my account after my last purchse is paid up, and how would feel if I went to social media about the bullying by the consultants from Truworths, you wouldn't appreciate it. Neither do I appreciate being harassed for a R26 account this is outrageous. Then to top it off they decreased my credit this was while I was still owing just over R26.00 not thousands or hundreds of rands. R26..
I have paid my account and I pay more than I should most times.

I like to put and complaint regarding the Gateway store.
I have been a customer for many years with Truworths 25/06/2023 after 1 pm my self and my wife to Gateway store. My wife came across with a beautiful jacket attached mark 50% when we looked at the price it was mark R115. When we took the jacket to the casher on the system shows R1150 wow its was shocking then the casher said are you sure I have said yes. I when back and got the marked R115. Their after the teller said will check with management where by the manger came and to me its an human error. I have to the manger that fair its and human error. I have told him that I want the jacket that mark R115 he said that he cant not help. I have ask the manger that how can your advertise something on the floor when its incorrect price he says its human error and there over 20 jackets mark @R115. As soon as he know about they quickly remarked the jackets @ R1150. The question there no checks done nor proper he/her checking for advertising.
Faults advertising I like some sort of feedback. Please find attached pics unfortunately the price mark @ R115 was changed to quick like nothing happened. i need some feedback. this not fair to customers.
