5TFAZ5CN4LX088741. My microphone stop working in the middle of a conversation on 12/31/20. I check on Toyota Nation, Toyota D.I. Y. and YouTube for what is possibly wrong. All I come up with is the communication bus is lock up as stated. I disconnected the battery overnight, turned the volume up to max. The system did not recognize my problem. I took the vehicle to Gray Daniels Toyota on 15 March and they ordered a microphone. I took the vehicle back on 19 March and the microphone were replaced. Did not fix the problem. I was told I need to remove all my add-on accessories and they will check it again, because their computer cannot talk to the telematics. Their system were working as designed with all my plug and play accessories installed.
