Toronto Pearson International Airport review: Pearson airport staff

On September 2, 2026, an Air Serbia flight from Belgrade, Serbia, arrived at Toronto Pearson International Airport on time, only minutes after a major storm had hit Toronto. The flight itself was direct, with no delays, and the journey had been exceptionally smooth and enjoyable.

Unfortunately, the experience at Pearson Airport after arrival was completely different.

Air Serbia passengers waited 4+ hours at Pearson as baggage carousel information repeatedly changed. What was particularly frustrating was the complete lack of communication and assistance provided to the affected passengers. They were not offered a water or even seats while waiting.

To make matters worse, the airport had apparently run out of the paper forms required to report missing luggage. Passengers were told that they could not simply leave the airport without completing a missing-baggage claim, yet the necessary forms were not available.

There was no clear updates or assistance; Swissport responded only on Sept. 8.

I am requesting that Toronto Pearson Airport and the responsible parties investigate what happened on September 2, 2026, including:

Why Air Serbia passengers were repeatedly left waiting while baggage information was changed to other flights.
Why there was no clear communication regarding the status of the Belgrade flight's baggage.
Why passengers were unable to obtain the required missing-baggage claim forms because the airport had run out of them.
Why Air Serbia passengers appeared to receive such inadequate assistance.

Passengers should not be treated as though their concerns are unimportant simply because the airport is experiencing severe weather or operational disruptions.
