Hello,

I went to the store yesterday (5-11-24) at 9:00 am (work order 2098416). I was met by Mr. Raymond Glassford. He said that they will do an inspection and that he will call me back later.

But he didn't call back and about one hour later I had to call the store myself! He said that they did a steering suspension evaluation and that my car will need a lower engine mount. But he said that he couldn't find the part and that there is nothing that Pep Boys can do for me! I asked him if he checked with Berrodin Auto Parts (in New Castle Delaware https://www.berrodin.com/) and he asked me "Who's Berrodin?" I told him who they were and he quickly said that "All of our vendors don't have the part, you'll have to go to the dealership." He then said that he will charge me for $38.49! I agreed reluctantly and went back to the store and paid him and got my car back.

About 30 minutes later I called back and asked him for the part number. He said "I don't know the part number, you will have to ask the dealership!" and he hung up the phone on me! I am a regular customer at that store and have never been treated so badly. Furthermore, I went online and found the part myself. Then I knew he was lying to me.

I want to see Mr. Raymond Glassford terminated and I want a refund for $38.49. Please let me know when you will manage yourselves correctly and rectify this situation internally. I have enclosed the receipt and work order.
