On July 12th I received my new mattress! From 1st night till now my whole body HURTS. The problem is SPRINGS! You can't even sit on it without the springs hurting your butt. I went to the store in Hickory with full intentions to change out to my first choice. I went with the one I have because I thought the pillow top would make it softer. Landon (salesmen) said it was firmer than my 1st choice. How I wish I had listened. Landon told me my 1st choice could have treatment for springs to work with my adjustable bed. When I went to the store to exchange my mattress the salesmen Chuck said that mattress could NOT have that spring treatment. So he showed me another one. It seemed ok but all instore mattresses do. I asked Chuck if it was a medium firmness and he said yes. They delivered that one yesterday. After talking to the delivery man HE WAS AWESUME! He knew more about their mattresses than anyone. He RECOMMENDED 4 mattresses that are great for side sleepers. I went straight to the store hoping Landon would be there. Nope it was Chuck. This man is clearly uninformed and new. He was having to call the corp. office for EVERY THING. He was clearly upset that the delivery guy had made recommended 4 other mattresses. THANK YOU TOBY! I did pick out a Hybrid but in my mind I keep asking myself am I settling when I KNOW MY FIRST CHOICE can be made for an adjustable bed. Chuck had me so upset because he mad a call to corp. to know what to do. I heard him LIE several times to whoever he was speaking with. He said it is customers preference. In the end that is true. HOWEVER it is my belief that a salesperson should do as the delivery man did. He LISTENED to me enough to know a FIRM mattress was not for me! I knew that, that is why I asked Chuck rather the mattress to be delivered this Saturday August 16th. Until than I have to sleep on a mattress that HURTING me so much I wake up in tears.. After it was all said and done Chuck offered to pay the extra $10.00 I had to pay..I told him no, he said "good I would have to put it on a credit card." Than he started telling me he was a caregiver to his 90 plus mother.. SORRY DO YOUR JOB! I hope the company takes this horrible mattress and checks it out to determine why the springs are so HORRIBLE.
Claimed loss: Almost a month of extreme PAIN.
Desired outcome: That if this 2nd mattress is too soft I can return it for my FIRST choice at NO COST.
