I contacted The Hartford for insurance and received a good (not great) deal. Slowly my premium started increasing. When I called they gave me a reason that parts for repairs and labor costs have gone up and they are passing those costs increases on to the policy holders. I explained I was not the cause of their payouts. So, in essence I am paying today for an accident that hasn't happened? Now, comes the Ive had enough. My premiums were $242.87, no claims, no tickets just a safe driver for sixty (60) years.
The clincher for me was Christopher Swift CEO made $22,114,212.00 guess where that came from...Raised premiums from accidents that didn't happen yet. Net profit for Hartford was $704 Million. While I am struggling to make ends meet the Hartford upcharges and hides behind the economy. Well No More. Now comes my final bill. Let this statement sink in " This bill represents the balance due from 05/24/26 to 08/01/26. Interesting enough but I paid May, June and July monthly payments already so what is this $112.55 ? Thank you Hartford...I have learned a hard lesson at a time when every penny counts and It will never happen again.
