TGI Fridays not give me a table 1:30 before close

On 14.11 I bring my family from the airport and we go straight to your restaurant in Westfield strastford city because its our favourite, was 21:30 we ask for table for 5 people and we was refused because they closing the sections we don't mind to wait for table wasn't busy so we thought wont take long for a table, but the host told us they wont have free table for us till 23:00 because they got just middle section open and more than half restaurant empty and the staff its going home . My family dinner was destroyed I was very disappointed from the poor service of the host and the attitude which she gave us, I`m a regular customer there so I don't complain on the spot we just walk off upset and hungry .

TGI Fridays wait

Hi,

I arrive at your restaurant on the 31st October 2019 at approx 19:15 to be informed there was a half hour wait which seemed acceptable,

However we never got a table for 50 minutes, and then had to wait over an hour for our food.

We had ordered as soon as we got our table and asked for main and starters to arrive together due to time we had waited...

Our starters then arrive after 1:10 mins, in which we had to wait a further 15 minutes for our food

This is shocking customer service and ruined our night (our anniversary)

TGI Fridays meat product

On the 31st of october, at 7.30 pm, i made an uber eats order for beef ribs that costed me $41.90 with 2 other additions. My total order was for $84.90.
Upon delivery of my order, i was provided with pork ribs instead of beef. I contacted the epping store directly and spoke to a 'manager' named Joanne. She was hesitant and adamant that she packed beef and not pork. I was spoken to and felt like an idiot. I provided my email address and requested she send me same so that i could forward a photo! That email never arrived.
I took matters into my own hands and drove my meal to the store so that i could physically show her what i was provided with. Joanne was very difficult to deal with and again stood her ground and was adamant that it was beef. I was made to feel stupid in store by your uneducated staff and the service provided was of a very poor standard. I am extremely unhappy with the outcome as we did not reach a resolution. I had theredore taken the necessary details and my meal and aim to have it tested to prove my point. I will make a complaint to the appropriate regulatory body of the food industry and consumer affairs for misleading me and selling me a product that was not infact the product that i had purchased and paid for.

TGI Fridays service

My wife and I visited the restaurant located at 3670 Camp Creek Parkway in Atlanta, GA. We arrived around 7:15pm. We ordered and was told we would have some chips and salsa come out. It never came. Our food came out 30 minutes later. When food arrived, my wife had salmon, shrimp, rice and broccoli. Her salmon was cold. We asked for warm salmon. 15 minutes later hot salmon came out, but her other food was cold because waitress never came an estimated time on how long hot, fresh salmon should take, and the temperature inside restaurant was extremely cold. We noticed a couple walk in and as they were being taken to a table to sit, they decided to leave because it was too cold. Regardless, our waitress never returned to see how we were doing, to give us an update as to when we should expect a fresh warm salmon for my wife. She never even noticed my sweet tea was empty. After 15 minutes she finally returned with a warm salmon, but as stated earlier, other food was cold. When I asked her about this, she said let me check on that and we also asked for the check because I had finished my food. My wife did eat some of the rice and other food because she was hungry and as stated, it took 15 minutes for the salmon to come out fresh and warm. When the waitress returned, she brought out the check and never mentioned anything about the request about the remaining cold food my wife had. I found a manager named Virgil Martin. When I explained to him the situation, he showed no emotion. He never apologized or anything. He just looked at me as if I was not of the human race. He said he would handle and check me out. He never returned. He had the waitress return my credit card and check with the full amount charged. Waitress then left. I found the manager Virgil and asked him what was going on. He said waitress told him she had already removed the food. Presented the check and full amount was charged. I told Virgil from the start, I was not trying to get anything free. We just wanted a fresh got warm/hot meal to enjoy together. Not to eat some now and then when the other come, enjoy the remaining with some cold food. He said he would remove. Regardless, Virgil said he would credit the food. It took him another 10 minutes and finally he came to the table with another manager named Chelsey Clark. He said he removed the salmon only. I asked him about the meal because when the hot salmon finally came, the rest that initially came out was cold. He said because she ate some of the other food, so she would not remain hungry for another 15 minutes, which is the time it took for the hot salmon to come out, he could only refund the salmon. Chelsey then chimed in and said the company has a new policy, which states if a patron eat any of the food, the portion consumed, regardless of the amount, can not be refunded. She said it had been charged and was final and nothing more could be done. I know it was not final because the check was not, I think, $6.37 less and there was lines for the tip and total. If everything was final, there would be no way to go in and add a tip. I asked for her name and the name of the other manager Virgil. Chelsey begin talking and telling me numbers to call for a complaint and I informed her, all I needed was their names. She then made the most unprofessional statement I have ever heard a manager make. She said, and I quote, "You were asking for our names, so I thought I would help you with ways to contact our corporate, "Boo Boo!" At this point, my wife got up and left for the door. I had the information I needed to file a complaint and then walked towards the door as well. This was the worst experience I have ever had at any restaurant in my entire life.

TGI Fridays bogus charges/fraud

For those that missed the whole story:

I visited TGI Friday's in Amherst, NH yesterday with a group of residents from the nursing home I work at. Including staff, there were 9 of us total. We asked that the bill be split so each person would have their own check, which was done. Each person paid in cash except for myself, who paid with a debit card. My card was charged 3 times! Twice for the exact amount of my meal, and once again for the entire table (so I paid for my meal 3 times and then paid a second time for each person who paid in cash).

I called and spoke with the manager, Aundra, who said she would fix it by 4:00am when the checks finalized for the day. It was not fixed so after speaking with my bank, I called TGI Friday's again and spoke to another manager, Tim. He told me they couldn't do anything about it until Tuesday when the checks close for the week. That is almost an entire week that I don't have the money to pay bills with. My original bill was for $25.23 (which is incorrect because nobody at the table ordered nor drank an iced tea and Mary, the waitress, agreed to remove the $2.99 charge and then "forgot" to do so). I was charged $25.23, $25.23 again, and $155.58.

$180.81 was paid in cash, along with several tips added to that. I tried to call corporate after the managers in Amherst were not much help - but their recording says to contact them on their website, even though their office is open Mon-Fri 9am - 5pm. There was no option that I could find to talk to a live person.

This was by far the worst experience I have ever had at any restaurant! It was my first - AND NOW MY LAST - time ever going to a TGI Fridays.

Feel free to share this, so nobody else has to go through the same experience

TGI Fridays service

On Sunday, October 6th me and my family visited the Friday's after church. We sat in the bar area to be able to watch the football games. As we sat down at the table the waitress walked by without a greeting at all so I assumed she wasn't our waitress. She walked by two more times without saying anything so I stopped her to order drinks for 3 kids and a beer and wine. The kids drink cane out after there food was almost gone and they ordered lemonade which tasted like water and ask if she could get more she said it was no more with the most nastiest attitude I felt like walking out and going to another restaurant but I didn't. She never followed up with us to see if we were okay. She was given attitude to the table next to mine. She was in the restroom talking to another employee saying that [censored] (me) talking to the manager about me and I was totally shocked that she said that. Her service was terrible that I would not return to that location

TGI Fridays whiskey glazed chicken breast

Ordered Whiskey Glazed Chicken with mashed potatoes. Food came out pretty quickly. Cut and ate a piece of the chicken, it did not taste done. So I tried the second one which did not taste completely done either. I advised my waiter. He took the food to the back and came back. Waiter advised me that the manager (Edward Kane) said "it is done" and if I want them to remake it I will be charged again. Why would I pay twice for one meal? I come here often and this is UNACCEPTABLE. Basically this manager expects me to eat something that is not cooked thoroughly? See attachment...money wasted!

TGI Fridays hygiene

Came here whilst on rugby tour supporting England team, bar has J Sports and RWC2019 matches. Seems a win win combination, especially with happy hour on drinks. Went to toilet after meal, washing hands after no. 1 and, I kid you not, employee comes out of cubicle after no. 2 and strides straight out. Did not wash hands. Repeat, DID NOT WASH HANDS. This place has the lowest hygiene standards. Dreadful.
TGI please take notice. You do not care about your customer's health all. I could not believe this. Time circa 1905 hours. You need to sort this urgently. Give your staff some hygiene training.

TGI Fridays food

I ordered ribs, shrimp, and a side of Mac and cheese and a side salad. When they waiter brought the food, as I prepared to put the some of the salad in my mouth there was a green bug crawling from my salad. I told the waiter and she offered me another salad and I told her I definitely didn't want another salad and she offered to take the $1.50 off my bill for the salad. I refuse the meal but I still was left with a bill for my drink and my daughter food and drink. There was no kind of remorse or concern towards the situation, I came so close to eating the bug.

TGI Fridays seen a cockroach.

Me and my girlfriend came to eat at this restaurant which we have never eaten before, and after we finished our food as we're waiting for our waiter to collect our payment we see a quarter sized cockroach crawl under the table acrossed from us which was just disgusting to see especially in a restaurant. When the waiter came to pick up our payment I told her just like this "I know I ate all my food already and dont mind paying for it but i just want you to know that we just seen a cockroach crawl under that table right there(which was the table acrossed from us)" and her response was "yea we get them in here sometimes its an old building but it doesn't interfere with the cooking part of the restaurant", umm no matter if it interfered with the cooking part or not nobody wants to finish eating, during eating, or about to order food want to see any bug of any kind especially a cockroach crawl on the floor right acrossed from them. My bill was $25.20 and to be honest at that point they should have just given me my food for free.

TGI Fridays product and service

To whom it may concern,

I recently visited your enfield branch of TGI's in London, Southbury road, I was absolutely astonished by mine and my partners experience there on the evening of Sat 31st August 2019.

My partner and I were celebrating our 8th yr anniversary and decided to go out for a steak meal at your restaurant. Half way through the meal I noticed that both meals were missing the salads and special dressing, so I called upon a member of staff to explain the situation who resolved it by offering us both a drink each, which we gladly accepted rather than getting the meal refunded.

Whilst waiting for the drink, we continued to eat the meal, when suddenly another member of staff came over and leant on the table just staring at us. Well after what seemed like an uncomfortably long time he finally asked if the meal was ok ? To which I replied its all ok the other member of staff (ali) has taken care of it.

The guy (Ersan) just kept leaning and staring so we both stopped eating our romantic meal, and asked him is there a problem, to which he said do you want me to get you a salad, I replied with (AGAIN) its ok the other guy has sorted it. The guy had now been at our table staring at us both for a good 3-4 uncomfortable mins. trying to push a salad on us. Finally I told him no we don't want the salad because a meal shouldn't come in stages and we are quite happy with the drinks that were offered.
He said that the other guy isn't in the position to be offering drinks and that he was the manager and all I could get was either the salad or the price of the salad refunded.! At this stage my partner who suffers from serious anxiety and was hard to get into your restaurant on a Saturday night had to go and hide in the toilet out of embarrassment because she had started to cry.

Now my partner is in the toilet crying both our meals are going cold. So whilst my partner was in the loo, I approached the manager who was now standing at the bar 1 meter away from our table and explained my partners condition and that he had totally embarrassed us made us feel like we were doing something wrong which was why she was now basically hiding in the toilet.

When my partner came out and sat back down, this manager came back over unbelievably and lectured me in front of my partner that I shouldn't have approached him at the bar and raised my eyebrows whilst talking as this is an aggressive mannerism, so now we have another confrontation by him. ! he also continued pushing the salad on us or £3.50 refund. So I took my partner by the hand and said come on we will go outside and said to the manager, you have totally ruined our meal and now I want a full refund and will be complaining to head office about the situation.

The next thing I know the complimentary drinks have arrived, which was a nice gesture, but I told Lawrence who was the bar man / witness to all this, that I would still like a full refund as the whole anniversary meal had been ruined I had been let down by the meal, the service, the professionalism of Ersan the manager and that he made both me and my partner feel completely oppressed and unwelcome that he had made my partner cry and run to the toilet. Lawrence was both courteous and charming and did his best to resolve the madness we were experiencing. He went back inside to tell Ersan, well when we spoke to Lawrence about the refund, Ersan was now charging us for the complimentary drinks.! So now I had a third confrontation regarding the bill !

Finally Ersan refunded both the steak meals.

I hope you agree that this is not how to handle any situation were the restaurant has made the mistake.

Ersan. was the manager with the eyebrow problem.
Lawrence was the lovely barman
Ali was the lovely guy that had already resolved the situation.

My number is [protected] Kieran Bruce my partner is Miss Cheryl Dowler.

Please take your time investigating this as it is a very serious matter boarding criminal intimidation.

Kindest regards Kieran Bruce.

TGI Fridays server/ coffee

Went Aug21, 2019. 8:18 pm After we were seated our waiter came shortly. His name was Bryce. He was friendly. Gave us time to check out the menu. We both ordered coffee. The first time he brought it, it was not even warm. He apologized, A few minutes later he brought us new coffee and it was the same temperature.in between cups, he did not remove the first ones. We aske for a third try on the coffee and it was hot. He did bring out a refill container of coffee, but it appeared to be in a plastic tea container. This could have been dangerous for him or anyone. Our food was brought out and was good and hot and enjoyable. I went to the ladies room after the meal. It was very dirty. The floors were nasty, the stall diveders needed cleaning and toilet paper all over the floor. Made me wonder what the cleanliness of the kitchen looked like. We had to wait quite awhile for the ticket. No sure if the waiter was new or not. We live out of Jacksonville and dont go out often, Wish it had been a better experience

TGI Fridays service that was received in northfield restaurant in denver, colorado

I went to Friday's for dinner on Sunday, August 04, 2019 with my daughter, great granddaughter, her dad and grandfather who was visiting for her birthday. I was so dissappointed with the service that we received. It was horrible! The waitress was gracious, but we wanted some of your famous chicken wings that were not available to us, and the service that we received after we found out that you didn't have half of the menu items. The poor waitress had to keep checking back to see if what we ordered off the menu was in stock. I was so embarressed because I really felt that this was a nice place to go eat at. The manager was very rude. We told the waitress that we had a military id, but I couldn't find mine, so I understand that this was my fault and excepted the fact that we could not get the discount, but she was so nasty to us. I just wanted to let you know that you need to check on this, because your business at that particular restaurant will decrease.

TGI Fridays gift cards

This company rips you off with gift cards. I purchased one for $25 for my dads birthday. When he went to use it they told him it was not valid. I did not hold onto the receipt but I purchased it where I work and I know it activates the gift cards at the register. If the card is no good, it automatically will refund . My purchase for the gift card went through 100%. Also when I called Friday's for help, they ask you to provide the gift card number and PIN number. THERE IS NO PIN ON OUR CARD! Then I saw that this has been happening to a lot of people where they purchase a gift card for someone and then when they go to use it it says it's not active. The customer service is not too helpful either they say I need proof of purchase but I explained I do not have the receipt. Now I am $25 short and my dad doesn't have a gift!

TGI Fridays management harassment of guests

Hello, My girlfriend and I have been regular customers at your Levittown, New York location now for over 4 months, frequenting the bar 4-5 times per week. We have taken a liking to many members of your staff and have made new friendships with many of them. Your manager Beth is an absolute pleasure to see. She is always so appreciative of our presence, always takes times to stop by and chat with us about our everyday lives. She is warm, personable and is always interacting in a positive manner with your guests. Your Kitchen Manager Kevin always makes a point of coming out to greet us and say hello even during the busiest of times. He is also a very hard working professional and like Beth, together they are valuable assets to the company.
The concern we have however is a very serious one which involves your manager Stephanie. Since we have been frequenting the Levittown location NEVER ONCE has she even attempted to greet us, say hello, or show any interest in how our guest experience is going on any particular day. She walks around the bar area several times a and up by the host stand with cell phone in hand working her Facebook account. She ONLY becomes visibly engaged with African American customers and will not engage others. This is a serious issue on its merits but not my main reason for contacting you today.
It started about a month ago when we came in and we were informed that the bar was out of Stella Artois on draft, which happens to be whaqt I drink WHEN I drink alcohol. This went on for a week. One day a bartender asked her why no Stella? Her response was, "The distributor ran out."...I almost fell off my chair. Besides being a successful corporate executive I also owned a very successful Sports Bar and Restaurant on Long Island for 8 years. I used Clare Rose, which is the same distributor as your Levittown location. I contacted one of my former Sales Reps there and asked if Clare Rose ran out of Stella. He laughed and said, "That would be like running out of Budweiser. Every other corporate place within 3 miles of that Fridays has an abundance of Stella in house. Millers Ale House, Chili's, Applebee's and Hurricanes all carry Stella Draft and NEVER run out." So obviously Stephanie is not trustworthy and lies to the staff and guests. So now that was discovered, we related this information to your staff. When they brought it to Stephanie's attention, she got very abrupt and stated, "I made the decision to discontinue Stella because you guys (bartenders) are giving it away to those regulars (meaning me) and wasted a half a keg." Well from experience running my establishment there is NO WAY you can waste a half a keg of beer unless there is a leak in the line between the keg in the walk in box and the beer tap tower. That was now lie number 2 to staff and guests.
On Friday July 26th things came to a head. We were there with friends sitting at the very end of the North side of the bar where we usually all sit, and closest to the register area. As soon as Stephanie saw us she immediately went to the register to scan to see if our first round had been rung in, which of course it was, and always is. About 10 minutes later she found it necessary to call an impromptu meeting of the bartenders right behind the bar, in front of the register, and no more that 4 feet away from where we all were sitting. She started verbally berating the bartenders about giveaways, buybacks, ringing in checks, etc., all within earshot of us. I took out my phone and got the incident on video, which I still have. At the end of this "Dog and Pony" Show, a bartender calmly told her that whenever they buy back a drink they list it on a waste check. Well, she spun around now facing all of us and said very harshly with a look of scorn on her face (which you can clearly see on the video), "I don't give a damn. I don't want thieves working on my bar and if they (meaning us, while pointing in our direction) don't like it they can leave and never come back." Well needless to say the staff was embarrassed as we were for them. The morale of the entire bar staff evaporated. They apologized profusely to us for her actions and what she said, and for her constant scrutiny on us whenever we are present. They damage by her had already been done, and there was no justifying it on any level. I am a very bright individual and realize along with the bar staff and other guests that this is flat out, blatant harassment. Last night we came in and as soon as she saw us she IMMEDIATELY did a check scan ONLY on us, then snuck behind the kitchen glass to spy on us thinking we are ignorant and could not see her. Beth came over and greeted us warmly as she always does and made us feel so welcome. Stephanie obviously took umbrage to this and found it necessary to walk behind us several times unnecessarily with that look of scorn on her face, cell phone in hand and on Facebook while Beth was conversing with us. Very sad and very disturbing.
We are good local customers, very influential in this community and in our local church. We have many friends, family, local business people and workers, and many members of our church who we have gotten to frequent the Levittown location. However our money is green EVERYWHERE and being blatantly harassed by this manager (which can be confirmed by other managers and staff)is unacceptable AND libelous. I urge you to address this issue TODAY with great concern, and discipline this person appropriately. She will NEVER win a battle with us, and if we have to find a new place to socialize we will because as I said our money is green everywhere! Feel free to contact me directly if you need to.
Respectfully,
Augie Pereira

TGI Fridays no staff

I went to TGIs yesterday (31.7.19) with my daughter after shopping, there was a long queue at the front so we went in to sit at the bar. After waiting a while the bar tender came up to me and said, I'll be with you as soon as can, there is just me on today, I haven't had a break since 9.30 am it was now about 6.30pm. I
Looked around and the staff were in a terrible state, they were arguing, one was actually crying! He finally came to me and I ordered a dink, he was shaking and poured the drinks so quickly that they went everywhere. I spoke to Alvin the manager, I said this is crazy, you need more staff, the barman (Tim) looked like he was going to collapse. He said it's noted. I was going to order another drink but I couldn't . About 1/2 hour another barman came on Not a pleasurable to be . I await your response ASAP.
