Texas Roadhouse review: Service / food

I toke my granddaughter to Texas Roadhouse today for her 22nd birthday. First of all, we. Called ahead since had party of 9 but only 8 showed up. We received our drinks shortly after being seated an hour later finally waitress came back take our order. I understand it was busy but during wait had to ask for refills while numerous times watched waitress standing with another waitress talking and not being attentive to any customers. We finally received our food which was correct as ordered. The waitress fund out today was my granddaughter birthday then ask her what she wanted as dessert for her birthday which didn't know we had to pay. I understand singing happy birthday and giving a dessert but please next family that cme to celebrate their families birthday let them know ahead if a dessert is suggested for the birthday that it will cost them. Small brewniecosting over 7 dollars is ridiculous. This is the first time our of years Texas I Jacksonville opened I've had to wait this long and had to pay for something suggested. I will never celebrate another family birthday and if I do I. Will bring the a brownie at no cost.
