Texas Roadhouse review: Poor customer service

Saturday May 27th at the Fairborn Ohio location I ordered Herb crusted chicken as I always do. The chicken had gristle and small amounts of fat on it. My baked potato was medium warm but not warm enough to melt the butter.

I squeezed the potato opening it more hoping the bottom was warm enough to melt the butter. It did not.

I kept eating bits of chicken but every other bite was nasty. I had a pile of chewed chicken on my plate. When I gave my plate back I ate 1/2 the chicken but many pieces of chewed chicken was on the side. The potato had 2 bites taken from it but still with unmelted butter sitting on top.

When the waitress took my plate she asked how was it? I said I've had better and told her my complaint. Her reply was next time tell us sooner and we'll fix it. We'll I didn't expect the chicken to consistently be chewy and full of gristle. I thought it might be a few bites. But the entire piece was nasty. By the time she asked about the meal and"fixed it" my partner would be done eating.

I would have just chocked it up to a bad day but the more I thought about her snarky remark, she didn't even offer to get a manager... that irritated me. I get the same thing every time so I know the normal quality and this wasn't it. I could have at least gotten an apology.
