Tata Motors review: Tata Nexon Creative + S DCA
Respected Sir/Madam,
I am Dr. Akshay Parikh, Consultant Rheumatologist at AIG Hospitals, Hyderabad. I am writing to demand an immediate buyback and full refund for a defective Tata Nexon Creative + S DCA purchased on 30/10/2024, registered in my wife’s name, Dr. Kinjal Shah (Attached: Document 1 - original tax invoice.jpg).
Within just 2 years and 21,000 kilometers of use, this vehicle has suffered SIX major breakdowns, repeatedly compromising our safety and causing immense professional disruption in Hyderabad traffic.
July 2025 (Breakdown 1): The vehicle refused to start. It was towed to the service center, diagnosed with a battery issue, and the battery was replaced under warranty (Attached: Document 2 - 1st breakdown.jpg).
October 2025 (Breakdown 2): The same starting failure recurred just three months later. The car was towed again. It was kept for a week with no root cause identified and returned after a mere jump-start (Attached: Document 3 - 2nd breakdown).jpg).
June 2026 (Breakdown 3): The car exhibited severe jerking and loss of acceleration upon starting. It was found to have a spark plug issue, which was replaced.
August 2026 (Breakdown 4): The car stalled in the middle of the road, completely losing acceleration. It was towed to the nearest service center, where an actuator replacement was performed under warranty to address a DCT gearbox leak (Attached: Document 4 - 4th breakdown.jpg).
September 2026 (Breakdown 5): Another mid-road breakdown requiring a tow. The vehicle was kept for 10 days for a major gearbox repair, which included replacing the housing adapter, gasket case, and the R/R DCT Hydraulic Control unit (Attached: Document 5 - 5th breakdown.jpg).
October 30, 2026 (Today - Breakdown 6): The car refuses to start once again. Only the electrical system turns on, but the engine is dead. It requires yet another tow.
I have lost all trust in this vehicle. It is a severe safety hazard to drive, and the ordeal of being stranded mid-traffic, arranging tows, using alternative transport for weeks, and missing critical hospital work is completely unacceptable.
I am not writing this email to request another repair. I refuse to accept further temporary fixes, nor will I sell this defective product to an unsuspecting buyer and pass on this suffering.
Please buy back this faulty vehicle immediately and initiate a full refund. I await your prompt response.
Sincerely,
Dr. Akshay Parikh Consultant Rheumatologist, AIG Hospitals, Hyderabad
