Stop & Shop review: Lovely store. Why I won't shop there anymore.

I live in Salem, MA, not too far from the Stop & Shop market in Vinnin Square in Swampscott. I would have to travel three times as far to reach a local Market Basket. The Stop & Shop has recently been upgraded and it is a pleasure to roam the aisles.

So why is it that I will try my best to avoid the store in the future?

The answer can be seen easily at the front of the store. Shopping is easy. Checking out is a nightmare. Today all of two registers were manned, neither with a second person bagging the items purchased. This happens all too regularly. Long lines means time wasted and feelings of frustration.
